Bluewater is good place to shop, eat or just walk around. It has all the shops you would expect of a shopping centre and has plenty of parking. So if you’re looking for a less busy version of Westfield Stratford jump on the A2 or get one of the many buses that come here.

Emma Anderson

Google
I always find something relevant for what I’m looking for here, but if you come close to Christmas be conscious it gets incredibly busy and parking can be a nightmare. When you go outside of the Christmas period parking is better but it can still get busy at peak times. The centre however is always clean and tidy and public transport links are good. If you don't mind busy shopping centres then this will be right up your street you will most definitely heal yourself if you need retail therapy!!

Google
Bluewater is a great place to shop! It’s modern, always buzzing with people, and has everything you could possibly need under one roof. There's a fantastic range of shops and a good variety of places to eat, whether you're after a quick snack or a proper sit-down meal. Free parking is a big bonus too. Definitely one of the better shopping centres around!

Google
Some of the stores closed at 8pm when online closing times are 9pm so disappointing, a lot of empty retail units, and the centre lacks visual inspiration inside lots of the features have been removed, so it's all very bland, was also very hot, if you park at John Lewis when they close you have to find alternative way out Also fire exit doors are locked a huge safety concern I have visited many times over 25 years and find it's changed but not for the better on the positive side plenty free parking, shops and food outlets, toilets worth a visit

This shopping center in east London, in the north west of Kent, covers an area of approximately 100 hectares, and is built on a former chalk quarry. 2nd largest shopping center in the United Kingdom (around 25 million visitors per year!), on a commercial surface area of more than 150,000m2, it has more than 330 stores of all kinds, in all areas, including around fifty "foods & beverage", a multi-screen cinema complex (12 or 13?). A real city in itself, it is so gigantic. Unlike many shopping centers around the world, it is pleasant to go there, to wander there, to wander around on two levels. A bit like the Part Dieu de Lyon, the 4 Temps de la Défense, but much bigger, Courier d’Annecy... Great discovery, especially when bringing back some “Flake” (my favorite delicious confectionery - I brought others back lol .....

Google
The shopping mall is very well maintained, trendy and full of designer, branded shops. There's huge both indoor and outdoor parking places for hundreds of cars in various zones and floors. The shopping centre is across many levels and multiple buildings. The area is spotlessly neat and clean including the toilets. There are many eateries including a huge food court with multiple cuisine food options with waterfront benches and relaxing area. However, you are not allowed to bring in pets (we are asked to leave as we entered with our golden retriever). Also most shop prices were a rip off. :(

Google
This is the only shopping centre that I've ever actually recommended to people. Love the ease of parking and layout of the large variety of shops, restaurants, and amenities.

Google
Huge shopping 🛍 centre off the m25 next to dart charge. Free parking as well as loads of restaurants and huge m&s food hall and coffee ☕️ shop. It's definitely worth the visit

Yelp
Went on sunday for the first time in a couple of years, should visit more often really as there is everything under one roof. Was a little busy so if you find crowds intimidating then might not be for you. Grat afternoon, even better if you have a large budget as you can spend a fortune

Yelp
Bluewater is a quality shopping centre. If you're looking for Woolworths, Primark or Peacocks you won't find them here. Instead there are lots of higher-end stores ranging from designer clothing to designer cosmetics and designer gadgets. Actually, it's not all second-mortgage shopping here - there are some 'normal' shops too, they're just a bit nicer than most high street equivalents. There are oodles of places to get a snack on the way round, like Starbucks etc. and there is a giant foodhall with choices for the discerning and not so discerning among you. On that note, a trip to Bluewater isn't complete without a trip to Ed's Diner - have one of their awesome burgers and a spectacular milkshake to find out why. Just make sure you eat when you're finished shopping though as you will just about be able to stagger to your car afterwards with the feeling in your belly. If you go at Christmas there are some superb lights outside as you approach the car parks - giant deers are among the best ones, but be warned, it can get super busy there too. Ample parking means it's not such a chore to go and the whole place is big enough that you don't feel crammed in - it's akin to a lot of the big malls in the States, and one of the best shopping trips (if there is such a thing) you can make in this country.

Yelp
If you can't find what you want at Bluewater, I would be amazed! The place is huge with shops located on 2 floors in the shape of a kind of triangle. It has main department stores located at each point - Marks and Spencer, House of Fraser and John Lewis. In between these are too many shops to mention, from your high end designer outlets to your regular High Street names such as Next, New Look, Burton, etc. That being said, you will not find shops like Primark and Peacocks. Each part of the triangle has its own name, i.e. Rose Gallery etc and there are maps located at every point of the triangle, if you can't find that particular shop. There are plenty of eateries and restaurants to choose from with something for all tastes. There is McDonalds and Burger King but also Loch Fyne, TGI Friday's, Carluccio's, Nando's etc. The centre itself is light and airy with high ceilings and a feeling of spaciousness, even on a busy day. There is masses of free parking too. Shopping isn't all that's at Bluewater though - there is a multiplex cinema (10 screens I think) and if that's not enough, you can even do some boating outside and feed the fish!

Yelp
When bluewater first opened, it was lakesides biggest competitor. Although it had the 'added' bonus of catering purely for the upper class market of shopping. It was wall to wall designer shops, you would never find a primark etc. I think the cheapest shop was the main marks and spencers. Since then, they have 'seen the light' sort of thing, a number of the shops were closing because no one was buying anything and the lower floor has now become more realistic shops. There is even talk of a 'cheap' part opening and a new primark going there. Having said that, now you will be hard pressed to not find a shop with somehting you want in it. They now cater for all i think, with all types of shops. It is 2 floors based in a triangle with the main department stores on each corner - although i am suprised there wasnt a debenhams there. They have many food places to eat -including the lovely Krispy kreme - and a range of all foods is catered for. The cinema is great, although very packd and they dont sell hot food after a certain time which i found a bit silly, the seats are comfy and staff are friendly. The whole place is kept clean and is very modern, overall i would highly recommend it here, a great day out for shopping and eating :) although parking can be a nightmare at times!

Yelp
Amazing shopping mall situated just before the Dartford tunnel in Kent. Bluewater is full of all the usual high street fashion stores but it also includes many designer stores such as Karen Millen, Diesel, Calvin Klein, All Saints and many more so it's the perfect place to go to treat yourself and go on a shopping spree. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes to keep your energy up while shopping. The mall is beautifully designed and much nicer than Lakeside on the other side of the tunnel in Essex.

Yelp
Bluewater is my second home I love it there. You can find shops here that are hard to find without going in to london such as paperchase. There is loads of parking and places to eat and chairs to have a little sit down on your way round, these are useful for dropping off old people and husbands so you can keep shopping. John lewis is super spread over 3 floors it has everything you need but I do recommend going round the rest of bluewater as well. There are lots of toliets and these are well looked after and nice and clean.

Yelp
I guess living right by The Centre MK I'm kinda spoilt. When I visited bluewater I don't know what I was expecting, but somehow I expected more than I get at home as it were. To be honest although this really IS a good shopping centre, it's not really got that much more to offer than we have locally in the Centre MK. There are lots of shops including all the big names you'd expect and then a few places like Lush (which we also have one of at home) which I know lots of people go to these big centres specifically for. The best shop I found there which we don't have at home was the Oil and Vinegar shop, a fab place absolutely filled with different flavoured oils and vinegars. There's also a Carlito's which is a rather good place to stop for a bite to eat (rather nice pasta!!!), and the whole place is nicely under one roof and is pretty spacious. Car parking is good, and you can hire a mobility scooter, but be warned, you do have to 'join' to do so which costs a few quid which I wasn't expecting membership lasts a year though, so it's worth doing if you plan on going a few times just give them a ring to check what ID you need before you go!!! Overall a good place to shop, but maybe not quite the wonder that some make it out to be.

Yelp
An exceptional shopping centre, and probably knocks the rest in the country dead. The location is not ideal, being the other side of the bridge to most of the country, but its worth a visit. The range of shops is good, with plenty of "rare" stores. There is a large eating area too, and as the centre is triangular, there is less walking to be done! A word of warning though - escape before closing time. The parking is plentiful but the queues trying to get out of the place are horrendous - literally hours lost! Still if you can leave before the rush, it isn't quite so bad. Video link: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ru0943eOfoQ

Yelp
Bluewater has pretty much everything you'd want from a shopping centre. When it was built it was the biggest shopping centre in Europe, I doubt this is still the case now, but it's relatively new and very well looked after. It has a wide range of shops, from the every day ones like M&S to some more fancy boutique style shops. It would be easy to spend a ton of money here, you could walk around all day and not see everything! They have a nice big cinema, bars, restaurants, they even have an ice skating rink there at christmas sometimes. There is a huge amount of car parking space and good public transport there, a train station is actually in the process of being built basically to serve the shopping centre.

Yelp
Bluewater is absolutely enormous! I walk round all day and still never get to see all of it! It has a huge range and variety of shops, cheaper ones and more expensive designer ones and bars restaurants, cafes etc It can get really busy though, especially at christmas. I love Bluewater, i always find what i want!

Yelp
I go here every year for the boxing day sales and it's fantatic however it's very very large so if you're not great on your feet then I suggest you use the free motability service and loan a scooter which is what I do. Shops to meet all budgets and desires, some quirky little places right round to famous brands. A great day out plenty of places to eat and a fantastic cinema. All free parking

Yelp
Bluewater is a large shopping and leisure centre located in Dartford, just off the M25. Purpose built in 1999 for a shopping experience on parallel to the malls of America, Bluewater takes shopping to a whole new level. There are few other places in Britain that have so many well known chain stores all together, easily accessible under one roof. The place in itself is huge, and you can find almost all well known moderate to high priced stores here, plus several stores that don't have many other locations in the country. These include clothes and accessories, electronics, homewares, games and media and a whole lot more. There is also a wealth of coffee shops, bars, snack stores and restaurants to experience to keep you fuelled while you shop. As previously said, Bluewater is definitely big. This can make it quite a tiring day if you are determined to experience the entire centre at once, as it takes quite a while to get from one end to the other. Likewise during peak times such as Christmas and the January sales it gets pretty packed, which can add a whole new layer of stress. Otherwise, there is very little else that Bluewater could do to improve itself in terms of overall shopping experience. It really is something that has to be seen to be believed.

Yelp
Bluewater is at present Europe's largest retail & leisure centre which opened in 99. It's situated in the Kent area, amongst white cliffs, and is surrounded by several lakes and parkland. It has hundreds of shops, offering both high street and higher end fashion, electrical shops, gifts, jewellery, music. If that isn't enough there are plenty of bars & restaurants, coffee shops situated inside also. To top it all off, it has its very own multi- plex cinema and as you enter the gorgeous complex you'll see a few people on small boats. There are a host of family activities to do too including boating. Also is a great place to take pictures on a nice day, or have something to eat outside.

Yelp
Bluewater is anoher big shopping centre, well located just off the M25 motorway. The place is, quite literally, HUGE. Getting round the place can, and is, quite tiring as the centre has two levels, so it takes quite some time to get around it. The variety of shops contained within is very good, plus there's a variety of restaurants in the complex where you can sit down and relax.

Yelp
Thursday, I made my trip to Blue Water Shopping Centre. Because we have been there before, we drove the car there without going through their website before the journey (Car Park Free). http://www.bluewater.co.uk/ 1. Building Service Management and the layout of shops: 9/10 As soon as I entered the shopping centre, the huge Sale signs are certainly draw all my attention. There are two floors and mixed designer shops and high streets shops. Then I found out it doesn't matter because of the triangle layout designed building. You'll never get lost. My husband collected store directory from information board in Ground Floor, while I was so excited for Sales and forgot why I'm here. 2. Food and drinks: 9/10 The eating places are located in the centre of the mall, water circus, winter garden, and village restaurants. There are over thirty Cafe and restaurants in store directory. They have almost every possible well known restaurant there. (e.g. Yo Sushi, pizza express, Nando's). 3. Value for money: 10/10 Well, they have everything you need, just think before action. In conclusion, blue water is a great shopping centre for everyone. You don't have to make your shopping plan and the layout of building is helped saving our time and energy.

Yelp
This is the best shopping centre i've ever known. You will be hard pushed to not find what you want here. It has everything from, food to furniture, cosmetics to cutlery. It has the range of expensive shops, choice and hugo boss etc to the cheaper ones such as new look and dorothy perkins. The food court has a variety of fast food and sit down meals. it also has a fish cuisine restaurant in an old style part of the centre. You can go on the pedalows in the lake outside the the centre or on a off road car track which you have to pay for. You can have your car valeted while you shop or you can go to the in site cinema which have top of the range seating area's in some screens which have double seated couches.

Yelp
Bluewater is one of my favourite places to shop. I has a good selection of shops and places to eat. What makes Bluewater that extra bit special for me is the small details , the architecture of the building is superb and the facilities are spot on. The only detractor is driving there can be a pain as the car parks do get full quickly, though if you get a bus it skips the traffic because of its secret rout in (or if you walk there like me).

Yelp
Went here when i visited my sister in Folkestone, its got loads of shops I spent a fortune but had a really great time. Went for a quick look but stayed all day. Car parking was ok

Yelp
I thought that Bluewater shopping centre was a fantastic place to go and spend the day. You can have an enjoyable shopping trip without the hassle of wondering where you are going to park the car or if there is such and such a shop AND there are loads of places to eat afterwards or during your trip, depending upon whether you want a sit down meal or an ice cream. I would definitely recommend it and will be returning soon.

Yelp
Bluewater is a great place to go for an all day shopping experience. There are department stores such as John Lewis and The House of Fraser which are a real luxury. There are an abundance of designer shops where you can just browse if you are a little short on cash. I especially like visiting Lakeland for household goods with a little difference. There is a good choice of restaurants and fast food outlets which stay open after the shops have shut on a Sunday. There are plenty of free parking spaces so no worries about finding free spaces.

Yelp
Amazing spacious shopping center. Has mainly every shop you need and a massive are to eat! In the sales this is the place to be as there are lots of bargains to be had! Big free car park worth the journey. It also has its own cinema

Qype User (Diz…)

Yelp
Bluewater is a great place to spend an afternoon. There is a lot of free parking available and many restaurants, a cinema, and lots of great shops! A lot of the shops here are fairly upmarket, you won't find any pound shops here! The complex is in the shape of a triangle, and the three main department stores are at the end of each stretch. The John Lewis is extensive and excellent, there is also a large Marks and Spencer and House of Fraser which are both great too. There are plenty of toilet facilities dotted around and they are generally clean and well looked after. Plenty of lifts for those who cannot take the stairs. Information points are well signposted and maps of the centre are clear and well placed. Good for a shopaholic, but I tend not to go here at peak times as it can get very busy.

Yelp
This is in my opinion the best shopping centre in kent. It has all high fashin shops. Its always clean, and well presented. Good for a family day too!

Qype User (Beaker…)

Yelp
Anyone who doesn't love this place just doesn't love shopping! Before Bluewater I caught the train to London for a good shopping spree, but now many of the shops I went all that way for are here. I particularly like the way the large department stores, M&S, John Lewis and House of Fraser, sit alongside some smaller independent shops. For someone without children, I also like to be able to choose to eat in a nice restaurant rather than a huge canteen with fast food and play area.

Qype User (sugar2…)

Yelp
Fantastic at christams, they have a free santas grotto, ice rink, fairground rides and a christmas market. They are fantastic for mums as well. If you are still breastfeeding they have rooms with rocking chairs where you can go and sit and relax whilst you feed bub. They also have microwaves etc so food can be heated by yourself so you know its done properly! Great range of shops, something for everyone! Only gripe is that they really dont have enough parent and child parking. Great range of resturants and also a cinema.

Yelp
This is my favourite shopping centre. It has excellent free parking, great road connections to London and South East. It has lots of great places to eat both cheap and not cheap. It has lots of shops including House of Fraser, M and S and lots of smaller shops. If you want cheap shopping this is not the place to go and you probably want Lakeside instead.
