This Immersive Experience Is Bringing Bluey's Colorful World to Life in Australia

"An immersive, family-friendly attraction at Northshore in Brisbane invites fans of the animated Australian series into the Heeler family's home; in a press release shared with Travel + Leisure, “Visitors will journey through a recreation of Bluey’s renowned home via impressive (for real) life-size sets, interactive play and a mesmerizing soundscape, inspired by much-loved Bluey episodes.” The guided, multi-sensory adventure begins by entering the family's front door and includes photo opportunities, interactive play zones, favorite games from the show, and recreated locations seen on the series — including the backyard, the family living room and Bingo’s bedroom — brought to life with life-size sets and a soundscape. The state-of-the-art venue also features a café, gift shop and playground and is produced by BBC Studios and HVK Productions. As Lord Mayor Adriann Schrinner says, “Bluey showcases the best of Brisbane, and we can’t wait to share our fantastic lifestyle with the world, for real life,” and he adds, “Residents and visitors alike will soon be able to immerse themselves in the Heeler family’s world, with the interactive experience extended until September 2025. We know this attraction will bring fans from across the world to Brisbane, creating more to see and do in our city, boosting our economy and supporting local jobs.” Due to demand the run has been extended to September 2025; tickets are on sale now with online advance purchases strongly recommended, dynamic pricing (typically A$49.90 off-peak and A$64.90 peak), seven-day-a-week operation, a guided portion that lasts approximately one hour, special sensory showtimes, and wheelchair access." - Carly Caramanna Carly Caramanna Carly Caramanna is a theme park and travel journalist who has spent her professional career in New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles. We had an amazing time with our kids and friends. We had little expectations as we had little idea about the show. It’s very engaging and immersive. Kids and adults will enjoy it thoroughly. The cafe and merchandise is good. Can feel but pricey as season time sales are on but overall we recommend it for a great experience with the kids.

This was an absolute delight. Yes it's expensive, but worth it. It's like a interactive, immersive, and moving play. We had Gnome Theo (22 Dec around 11:50am) and he was so very good and my somewhat shy kid instantly gravitated to him. The attention to detail with the sets, costumes, sound effects, staff acting and interactions was excellent. Anticipate that you will buy something in the gift shop as you leave the experience straight into the gift shop and the neighbourhood. Some things were very expensive and others a fair price so depends on what you are after. Bluey and Bingo came out into the Neighbourhood after the official photos at the end where over and pose with the kids to have free parent taken photos. So that was great as we were not super interested in the set photos. Big playground at the end like in the episode 'cafe'. The food was pretty decent and they were priced as expected at an attraction. They did have a few healthier options like sandwiches, capsicum salad and a chicken salad. I had the chicken salad and it was very very good. We also had icecreams and they were very high quality (adult and kid sizes). Very easy to drive too, plenty of parking. Hamilton Ferry stop right there too.

Bluey's world is a wonderful experience for kids from around 2 to 6 yrs old.. it is a well guided tour. They have an amazing team who interacts with kids and keep it light and funny for them. The thing which is missing in this is no interaction with Bluey and Bingo and only a photoshoot at the end of the tour. Kids keep asking about Bluey since they entered the house but it came as a surprise to meet them just for the photo. It could have been better if they let kids play with Bluey and Bingo at the end or in the backyard area forsometime. Cafe area is nice and have good food options.

Went with my 2.5 year old. He had a BLAST! He loved every minute of it. Well thought out, great facilities and very family friendly. The attention to detail was excellent. We felt it was worth the money. Loved that we weren’t allowed to take photos inside the experience as it made us fully immerse in the experience with our LO. I’m also 6months pregnant so plenty of places to sit, watch & enjoy.

Wakadoo fantastic!!! Kids and big kids loved it. The performers were great and polite. The entire place has air con, really entertaining yet not feeling like you were rushed. Food and gifts were not over priced and they tasted yummy and were good quality. Will recommend to anyone and we hope to go back one day.

We planned a trip to Brisbane solely to visit Bluey’s world. The experience is incredible for the kids. The attention to detail and interaction with kids is remarkable. The sticky point is the lack of the stars of the show“ in the show itself. For a 90-min experience, they only get seconds with Bluey and Bingo. It’s not fair to the little ones. My daughter did ask a couple of times, if all she would get was to hear their voices but not “see” them. Also, the staff guiding the activities need a higher volume mic. Kids miss a lot as they can’t hear them properly.

Bluey's World is almost exclusively geared toward young children, specifically those under the age of 7. The day we attended was very quiet, with few visitors. The highlight is the interactive guided tour where kids (and adults) are encouraged to help the guide and the 'Gnome' character search for Bingo's toy in various themed rooms. However, be aware that no personal photos or video are permitted inside the main tour rooms. The experience concludes with a photo opportunity with Bluey and Bingo. This official photo is the only one you can take with the characters and must be purchased separately at the kiosk located in the cafeteria/playroom area.

Pretty sad that parents feel the need to stand in front of toddlers. My toddler is a very small 18 months old, she was constantly pushed to the back of the line when entering rooms and had 1 older couple (with no children) constantly stand right in front of her. By the time we got into the room they were already moving on to the next so we missed out on the whole bedroom scene. I made a comment that adults should be made to stand at the back when things are being shown but nothing was done, we travelled 4 hours for this. Otherwise, it was great fun to look inside the Bluey house. I think the prices for everything were very reasonable.
