This Immersive Experience Is Bringing Bluey's Colorful World to Life in Australia

"An immersive, family-friendly attraction at Northshore in Brisbane invites fans of the animated Australian series into the Heeler family's home; in a press release shared with Travel + Leisure, “Visitors will journey through a recreation of Bluey’s renowned home via impressive (for real) life-size sets, interactive play and a mesmerizing soundscape, inspired by much-loved Bluey episodes.” The guided, multi-sensory adventure begins by entering the family's front door and includes photo opportunities, interactive play zones, favorite games from the show, and recreated locations seen on the series — including the backyard, the family living room and Bingo’s bedroom — brought to life with life-size sets and a soundscape. The state-of-the-art venue also features a café, gift shop and playground and is produced by BBC Studios and HVK Productions. As Lord Mayor Adriann Schrinner says, “Bluey showcases the best of Brisbane, and we can’t wait to share our fantastic lifestyle with the world, for real life,” and he adds, “Residents and visitors alike will soon be able to immerse themselves in the Heeler family’s world, with the interactive experience extended until September 2025. We know this attraction will bring fans from across the world to Brisbane, creating more to see and do in our city, boosting our economy and supporting local jobs.” Due to demand the run has been extended to September 2025; tickets are on sale now with online advance purchases strongly recommended, dynamic pricing (typically A$49.90 off-peak and A$64.90 peak), seven-day-a-week operation, a guided portion that lasts approximately one hour, special sensory showtimes, and wheelchair access." - Carly Caramanna Carly Caramanna Carly Caramanna is a theme park and travel journalist who has spent her professional career in New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles. A fabulous family destination with lots of interactivity. Allow at least 2-3 hours...including (the recommended wee safety stop at the start, before entering the main building next to the entrance) and food/ beverages and play centre at the finish - post merch store. The tour takes approximately an hour. The kids loved it (6 & 4 yrs). At $65.00 pp, from anyone over 2 years old, it's expensive. No food or drinks can be taken in and the Cafe isn't cheap. The purchased photo was hideously yellowish and at $20.00 for a 6 x 4, it was disappointing. But, as a special treat...a lovely afternoon out. 🙌

A great family day out. Well worth the money. My 3 year old had a great time as did my wife and I. I see a lot of complaints about the fairies going on too long, feeling rushed and the no photo policy. The fairy is there to get kids excited, which they do a great job of. It feels rushed becuase it is for kids and they need to keep them engaged in the activities. Keeping them for an hours is a great feat and done really well. No photos is GREAT! It keeps it all moving. You aren't waiting for people to get pictures and stopping all the time. Everyone is just enjoying themselves. The scenes are great. Really high production value. Everything looks great and feels well made and really fun. Do I wish we had more time in the house, yes, BUT my son was kept engaged the whole time and focused on the whole thing because they kept it moving. The free play at the end was fun. A little Bluey style park with the usual slid etc. Food was good and good value. Gift shop has a great range of toys etc. Yes expensive but no more then you'd expect. All in all a great experience thay we will never forget. Had the best day ever!

Blueys World is like an 'interactive stage show' that you are a part of! (My words) Throughout the show is an adventure to find Bluey and Bingo. The set designs are so well done. We roughly took about 1hr 15min to reach the end for a photo op and the neighbourhood, which is the merch, food and playground area! Add in play and eating you get about 2hours for the experience. My friend was in a wheelchair, while accessible throughout 90% - there is the cubby-house room which would not work so well, for those in wheels to play and experience. The food range: sandwiches from about $6-8 Cookies and cupcakes $4-6 It has the usual theme-park style prices which i already expected in food. I have heard complaints about merch cost but i find cups $15-35 to be pretty normal, We picked up some stuffies around $25 Over all the merch is pretty much priced - where i expected. We then Made Sure to end our day catching BINGO The City-dog. .50 cent fares are still in place! My down sides: i hate not being able to take photos for memories! (This occurs inside the house) On site photos are $20 - instead of digital download - which cost extra again. I would love to have a photo op in bluey's bedroom which is way cooler. The Easter special was (lame) it had nothing to do with the show/ house it was just something at the end of the neighbourhood ( with stickers) and i think they gave a TINY easter egg to the guest on exit. I recommend that age 4-7 yrs would love this place the best!

Great event, the process is very pleasant and friendly from booking to the end. You can’t take photo & video inside the tour. When the families get inside the Bluey tour. the activities provide were great stimulation for the kids. Finishing the tour, have a big playground for the kids to run around with fee cafe options . It was also a nice walk alone the waterside beside the venue .

This is not an amusement park experience. Each group is led through a series of rooms made to look like the different rooms from Bluey’s house, by a group of fairies (which I have never seen in the cartoons). While not the experience I expected, the kids seemed to have an ok time. Tickets were A$64 a person. Children under 2 are free.

My 3 year old absolutely loved it! It is on the pricey side but that is also understandable when you see the level of detail that has gone into the areas. The actors were great and interacted with the kids but I do agree with some other reviews saying that they need to be mic’d up so that it is easier to hear them. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The playground at the end is where my 3 year old had the most fun. Whilst he was playing, Bluey came out and played hide and seek with the kids. The food and souvenirs are pricey but are on par with other theme park prices. Probably wouldn’t recommend to kids under 3 years old as they may not understand the concept regarding the actors and probably wouldn’t get as much out of it as the older kids. We went during the week and there was plenty of free parking at the venue.

Took my 4-year-old twins to Bluey World and felt it really didn’t justify the cost. Charging for parents seems unnecessary—we’re just there to accompany the kids. The experience was almost an hour-long walk through the Heeler family home before Bluey and Bingo finally appeared at the end, by which time my kids were already getting bored and kept asking, “Where’s Bluey and Bingo?” The audio wasn’t clear for the interactive session either which made it hard to stay engaged. Would’ve been great to see more familiar faces like Chloe or Coco or even Chilli and Bandit taking the kids around the house to keep the excitement going.

We went to Blueys world on Sunday to the last session at 4pm and i gotta say it was more than we expected. Kids absolutely loved it, Toni the gnome was incredible along with all the other characters, the fairy and the rest. They did not break character once, and the kids loved how they had to search for things to get to Bluey and Bingo at the end. The way they’ve made the house is amazing too, it’s like you’re in the cartoon, we loved it too. We were the only ones in our session, so it felt like a private tour. We had no issues with hearing the characters or no issues with anything being loud or hard to understand, everything was top notch!! If you want to get the best out of it id recommend going to the last session rather than early in the morning where there are a lot of people all at once and everyone complaining that they couldn’t hear or that Bluey and Bingo didn’t spend enough time with them etc.
