BLUME. Baden Hotel & Restaurant

Enjoyed a great two night stay in Blume with two colleagues for a technical workshop. Had a great dinner for three on the night of arrival. Everything goes very smoothly in hotel Blume and the place is highly atmospheric. Also had a chance to take the hot bath with natural spring water in the basement, fantastic! This is at no additional cost for hotel guests.

The BLUME. is a charming hotel steps away from the river. It's a historic property, boasting hospitality since 1421, although the baths underneath the hotel date from a millennium earlier. The grand atrium with hanging plants and natural light is a perfect spot for a conversation among antique furniture and art. Included is a classic Swiss breakfast (complete with the most delicious cheeses!) and use of the Roman thermal baths. The baths include private hot baths, steam room, Finnish sauna, relaxing room, and a variety of cold shower options, as well as spa services should you desire them. The cavern-like atmosphere is enhanced by the flickering of candlelight and the dripping of the thermal springs. I used the baths often during my visit, and they made me feel rejuvenated and ready for another day of touristing. Should you want something more grand, the famous 47 spa is just steps away (but the facilities at the BLUME. were all I needed, so I saved the money and skipped the 47!). The BLUME. staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. They made me feel at home right away. My room was clean and comfortable. I have nothing but praise for this gem of a place.

Swiss Tradition at its best. The restaurant is really a beautiful place to visit and something different from the standard restaurant that pile you up next to people. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. I recommend it!

The room was spacious, the shower great. The service from the hotel staff was excellent. Location is very good, short walk to the train station and many good restaurants and cafés. Such a magnificent old and beautiful hotel with a lot of history.

Lovely old hotel, but all the modern comforts. So much character in an age where many hotels are anonymous boxes!|Staff and facilities excellent; being able to relax in it's own thermal spa is a real treat at the end of a long day.

This is my third stay at Blume Hotel, this time with two friends, and once again, Silvio and his team impressed us with their hospitality and service. Such a beautiful, well-maintained hotel with a great location, perfect for exploring Baden. Top marks; we will be back soon !

Great hotel with very comfortable beds and very nice decoration! Would totally recommend!

Delightful hotel with very helpful staff and a special ambience. Plenty of space to socialise outside the bedroom with elegant balconies around the interior. The hot water thermal spas on the ground floor were included in the price! We slept like kings and enjoyed the breakfasts and evening meals. |Every aspect of the hotel was very special and our family is already planning our return. Danke fur alles!
