Blyde Canyon, A Forever Resort

Had a very nice stay here. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. Very peacful and quiet resort. Also has stunning views and great hiking trails. Only thing that would be a nice extra is to have wifi in the chalets, I spent a small fortune on data during my stay as its nice to watch some netflix in the evenings.

Blyde Canyon is still our favorite place to visit, they have the most beautiful walking trails and every request of ours was attended to immediately. We use the self catering unit and I forgot my large pot when we had our last family visit and I could not cook for everyone, the restaurant management arrange to deliver a fantastic quality pot to our unit to assist with the stressful situation I was in.||We also did a view point walk one day which landed up finishing a bit late and we came back to our vehicle in the dark only to find several concerned staff members wondering if we had gotten lost. Housekeeping was also so patient for our late morning risers and waited patiently to attend to the cleaning of our unit. It was so very sweet.||On the whole, this resort is run with friendly and efficient management and staff and has such a lovely environment that you really do feel like you have had a wonderful holiday which we are always sad to leave but look forward to the next booking.

Situated in theee most perfect spot you'd ever come across... With views the likes of which have never been seen before... However chalet quality is absolutely terrible, unkept, not maintained, shower head was literally rotten, very old fashioned not upgraded nor revamped. It's a shame though. Otherwise an amazing place.

Resort clean and beautiful. Stuff well trained and helpful. Enjoyed pizza and your burgers tasty and fresh big ups to the chef. Please add more fresh fruits on buffet breakfast. Service excellent 👌

We stayed in the glamping camp site for two. It was a lovely set up, good for self-catering complete with a braai and all the amenities needed. The ablutions were very nice, fantastic water pressure on the shower. Would highly recommend the leopard trail and the Guinea trail - there’s a way you can do both as a loop ending back at the resort entrance. The restaurant is quite nice as well if you’d rather eat there than cook for yourself at the campsite.

Very nice place, but I can't understand the policy of this place We came to hike (300R for 2 when we were there). Beautiful hike. At the end we wanted to stay, but for that we needed to pay the complete price for camping (570 for 2). But if we paid directly 570, we then could have done the hike 'for free'. So before you go there, be sure what you want to do

An amazing place to stay! Spectacular Blyde Canyon views, well-serviced and comfortable accommodation and a lovely restaurant. Also very convenient to have walking trails on the property. We will also forever be grateful to Theunis from the maintainance team for all his care and taking time out of his day to help us with a car problem during our stay.

Amazing campsite under the trees. Each site has electricity point as well as a braai stand. Very clean and modern ablution block. Loved our time here.
