Meet the Retirees Running Marathons Around the World
"A fast and flat marathon course that is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, known for enthusiastic spectators and a scenic route through Berlin."
“Great Atmosphere, Poor Organization”
While the atmosphere at the Berlin Marathon was fantastic, the organization left much to be desired. After the race, it was impossible to get to my children, despite having provided all the necessary information beforehand. The system made it extremely difficult to connect with runners post-race. Overall, a disappointing experience due to the poor organization.

1. Lovely majors where I took part along with GOAT himself - EK !!
2. Starting point during race is extremely difficult to find as there are no signboards nor ppl to navigate .
3. Race starts with narrow passages so timings r crushed ..
4. SUPER AMAZING CROWD CHEERING TILL last meter .
5. Good sheets after the race .
6. No fotobooth 🙃🙃.. at the end of the
7. Great hydration support but no gel support during the run

Organization:
At the first 3 hours, there are to much runners, as time goes there are less competitors and the crosswalk is clear. It's awesome! You can always find people cheering up and people from around the world running.
Main streets are closed but the traffic and the public transportation don't stop.
The only bad thing (in my opinion) is the trash all over the floor. Besides that it fantastic.

Was good but there was a lack of railing keeping public from crossing which allowed the public to cross the route, bottlenecks towards the end of the run which could have caused injury but worst of all you have to buy you owned finishers t shirt and is not exclusive to runners so devalues the t shirt bit of a let down for a world major

Amazing experience. I loved everything in this route. However I must say that one big highlight here, is the local people that gives you beer in the lasts kms, that was energizing.
