This was my first time at BOA Nails, and while my nail technician, Nora, was fantastic, there were some operational issues that could use attention. Nora was a perfectionist, and my nails turned out beautifully—she's clearly skilled and attentive to detail.
However, the salon itself felt a bit chaotic. Technicians accusing each other of using items from their kits. The floors and mirrors weren’t as clean as I’d expect, and there was a leak right next to my station with a bucket on the floor to catch the drips.
Clients, myself included, were asked to move seats multiple times, which disrupted the experience.
Additionally, the entrance gate kept jamming, leaving some clients unable to get in or out smoothly. The salon could really benefit from a bit of operational TLC.
In summary, Nora’s work was excellent, but the overall salon experience could be improved to match her level of service.
