1/5 – Poor shaping, ignored requests, and serious hygiene concerns I asked very clearly for almond-shaped nails that were not narrow. Instead, I walked out with thick, uneven duck beak–shaped nails. Every nail is a different length and width, the shape is bulky and flared at the tips, and the overall result looks rushed and unprofessional. These are absolutely not almond. The technician did not listen to my request and didn’t correct the shape when it was obvious it was wrong. The nails look heavy, awkward from the side, and poorly built. On top of that, the salon was not the cleanest. Stations were messy and most concerning of all, the same nail file was being used on multiple clients. This is a serious hygiene issue and completely unacceptable in a professional nail salon. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor technique, and complete disregard for what I asked for, this was a very disappointing experience. I regret coming here and would not recommend it to anyone who values hygiene, skill, or being listened to.

I’m really disappointed with the quality of the nail services at this branch. This is now the second month in a row that my nails have chipped and broken after only 4–5 days. Last month I paid extra for chrome nails, and the gel polish chipped off within a few days. I decided to give the salon another chance this month and went with a standard gel set instead — and the exact same thing happened. When I contacted the branch to ask if the two broken nails could be fixed, I was told I would need to pay again, even though gel nails are generally expected to last around three weeks. Being charged for repairs after less than a week feels extremely unfair. I also want to mention that a few of my friends who visited this branch told me they experienced similar issues with their nails not lasting — which makes me even more hesitant about the consistency of the service. Based on my experience (and what my friends have shared with me), I do not recommend this branch at all. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Aesthetically pleasing , loved everything ! My daughter got a princess mani and loved every second. Khanhisa was patient, sweet and gentle with her and she was smiling the whole treatment through. My tech was Fransisca and she was AMAZING my toes have never been happier. Such a great beauty bar with wonderful staff!

I’ve been a loyal client of Kloof Boa Beauty Bar for a little over a year now and the therapists are professional, talented and friendly - no matter who you get. Always such professionalism and friendly faces all round. Management are helpful and accommodating even all my crazy requests are tended to with care and understanding.

My partner previously booked and paid for my nail appointment in advance. During that visit, I didn’t use the full prepaid amount, and the branch manager informed me that the remaining balance could be applied to my next appointment. However, when I returned today, I was told there was no record or note of this arrangement. As a result, I was asked to pay again, which was frustrating and disappointing. While I have no complaints about the nail technician (the service and quality of work were great) the lack of proper record-keeping and communication from management and admin was very unprofessional and sloppy. It’s disappointing to experience this level of administrative sloppiness, especially after being assured by the manager that the balance would be carried forward. I hope the branch improves it's processes so other customers don’t encounter the same issue.

My sister and I had the worst experience at this nail bar. The technicians were unfriendly, impatient, and completely uninterested in us. My sister's skin was cut and bled in 3 different places. When she expressed discomfort she was completely ignored. The technician did not even acknowledge it let alone apologise. I alerted the receptionist that I was getting my nails done for my wedding in a few days and requested someone experienced. The technician sped through the treatment and my nails were untidy, going in different directions, and the tips ended up being extremely thick and uneven. The workstation was dirty and the same paper towel was being used over and over again, despite the sign saying it was freshly sanitized. This was the worst experience ever. We won't go back to any BOA branch and will not recommend.
