⭐️ - The place does not deserve 4.5/5 stars on google. Food is standard but it’s very commercial. Service is friendly, but they call out the ticket number in French which of course makes the line longer. Despite the good reviews, this place is really nothing special, and I recommend you try something out of the city to really experience good pastry. I would never recommend a friend to go here unless they just needed a quick bite on the go. It’s unfortunately impossible to relax here as it’s really loud in the café, and packed to the brim. Seating area is dirty, dark and humid. It was a recipe for overstimulation. Their Americano was good - but the bagel we received was dry and flat, giving the impression of the bread being at least a day old. We would really not recommend it. I also ordered a quiche, that we had chosen to get heated up, but I still received it somewhat cold. Lastly café even encourages people to leave reviews for freebies… making many of the current reviews even more misleading.

Great location, spacious cafe with great look out on a busy corner. Bright ambiance. One of those self order terminals but you can order yourself at the counter as well. Organization seems a bit like a chaos though and even when ordering inside you get parked in a not very inviting corner. You get all the stress from the busy corner even though you just wanted to sit down. Table service for in house costumers would give a better experience. When you want a coffee to go, waiting for your order is no problem in my opinion. Coffee was solid but expensive but what to expect on a location like that, no surprise. They don’t have a porta filter espresso machine that was a disappointment for that kind of coffee shop/ bakery. Ambience is a bit worse at the moment due to loud construction works during opening times.

Food is fantastic but commercial. They offer huge selection of croissant and baguettes. Their drink menu is thrust quenching in summer heat. In peak hours, finding a seat is difficult but if are lucky enough to find one near the window, you can enjoy your croissants and coffee with fantastic views of the street.

The food over here was okay. There are a lot of other small bakery shops which were better. The coffee was average as well. The service was subpar. The staff was occupied majority of the time with socializing among themselves and others. It was crowded and there was no table available. Upstairs they had some construction going on.

Lovely coffee with bright and warm atmosphere, suitable for friend groups or family. Coffee and cake are good with decent price point.

The croissant was wonderfully chewy — just the way I like it. I really wanted to have it again, but unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time during our stay in Paris. It’s also one of the few bakeries where you can get iced coffee, which was a nice surprise. Ordering was easy thanks to the self-service machine, which was very helpful for us since we don’t speak French.

Disappointing Experience at a Highly Rated Patisserie We recently visited a well-reviewed patisserie in France, hoping for a memorable treat. Unfortunately, our experience fell short. The pastries, while visually appealing, lacked the freshness we expected, likely a result of our timing, as we arrived shortly before closing. Still, for an establishment of such reputation, we expected better standards throughout the day. The seating area was also uncomfortably warm and stuffy, which made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a relaxing moment. While the staff was polite, the overall atmosphere and quality didn’t match the hype. In a country with so many excellent independent patisseries, we found better experiences and fresher pastries at smaller, less commercial spots nearby.
