Boarders of Rockaway Beach

I can't say enough good things about this surf shop! We came in looking for a boogie board for my daughter, and the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Instead of just trying to sell us the most expensive option, they took the time to ask questions and made a perfect recommendation that fit our needs and budget. Unfortunately, we left the board out in the heat upside down and it blistered (completely our mistake). When I called the shop for advice, they were so understanding and offered multiple solutions, including a generous discount on a new board, which they didn't have to do at all. We followed their advice and the blisters on the board went away, so we didn't end up needing to buy another one. The board itself is fantastic, and my daughter is having a blast with it. Highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Local surf shop with Rentals and For Sale items. Everything you need to get wet. Staff is excellent. Mike, Mike, and Matt run the show for most of the summer. They are knowledgeable and patient with the beginning learning to surf crowd. The shop also has 24/7 year round board storage and showers which is great and convenient. Check it out if you haven't already.

They got hit pretty hard by sandy but they are open for business (even though the phone has a busy signal) Same awesome staff. The owner Steve is always around. He does a lot of non profit work in the local community which is just another reason to give then your business. Great spot to cool down and clean up after a surf. Good selection and prices on board rentals.

Great shop, been coming here and doing rentals regularly and bought my first board here. Guys here are always super friendly and knowledgeable, Damien in particular is awesome.

I've lived over here for my whole life.Boarders is the place to be to get skateboards, clothing, stickers, tapes, and surfboards. I own stuff from the store. Customer service is extremely supportive. If you want a skateboard they build it for you right in front of your face so no worries. When you walk out of this store you are guaranteed to have a friend that works there

A group of great guys and helped pick out the right board for me 9'2" matador Eldorado and 6'2" matador bull fish. Will be back to pick up my next board from them highly recommend and a huge board selection of all hand shaped board built in the U.S
