Dear WAVE bolgoda We had a very happy, fun entertaining and exiting experience, but there are always some things that really did not satisfy us..... Here are some tips to improve 1.Devil Chicken Very small portion for 2,400.00 2.Pork Again the portion is also really small 3.Fruit Plater Not that many extrodrodanary fruits like apple, grapes, Guawa, and mango 4.Spaghetti Carbonara(Bacon) Not to brag or anything but it tasted like water. We are not saying that all foods are not good, some are like the fish and chips were AMAZING and French Fries are also the same and the best part The fried rice & kottu was really good 🎊 We rate this Restaurant a 3/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐ 🍽️

Boat House by WAVE – Bolgoda is the perfect spot for great food, good vibes, and a relaxing time by the water. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with plenty of space and cozy seating—especially in the private VIP rooms, which are ideal for small get-togethers or celebrations. The food was absolutely amazing, and the highlight for us was definitely the black pork bite—flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell there’s extra love and care put into that dish! The kilo bites menu is also impressive, and the portion sizes are very generous compared to similar restaurants. For those who love a bit of fun, the VIP rooms come with a JBL speaker for karaoke, and there’s even a big TV to enjoy music videos or match nights with friends. It’s a great place to chill, sing, and have a good time. The staff were super friendly, flexible, and always ready to help—you can really feel their commitment to making sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend Boat House for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food, a scenic setting, and great service around the Bolgoda area. We’ll definitely be back!

We booked Boat House for a family birthday (6 pax) on 14th Feb 2026 and it was a disaster. - Only one waiter and one person at the bar were running the entire venue, with no manager to complain to. - Our food took more two hours to arrive although some of the food was pre ordered and confirmed via WhatsApp, and every table was visibly frustrated, constantly chasing the waiter. - Orders were mixed up: pepper pork became deviled pork, fried noodles became fried rice, and nasi goreng was delayed. - By the time food came, the mood was ruined. Although the dishes tasted fine, we had lost our appetite. - Even the leftovers we asked to be packed were mishandled—items were missing, adding to the frustration. Poor staffing, long delays, and mismanagement completely overshadowed the food. Embarrassing experience, especially after recommending this place. I would never return or recommend it to anyone.

Amazing place. Specially try their Spicy Chicken Salad! That’s an amazing dish! Really love this place. Potions are big and really worth. Superb!

We had our Awurudu event organized by the office here at Boat House- wave Bolgoda, and it was a fantastic experience! The venue has a beautiful view that’s perfect for outdoor gatherings, with sheltered areas to rest if the sun gets too harsh. Customer service was top notch, they were quick to respond to all our requests and very attentive throughout the event. The moment we ran out of snacks and bites, they refilled the tables within seconds! Their support for our game arrangements was also amazing. Another thing we really appreciated was that we weren’t rushed at all, there was no pressure on timing, and we were able to complete our event comfortably within the booked hours.
