Derek provided such an amazing sailing trip out on the water and made me feel as if I was part of his family. It was such a nice and relaxing trip around Lake Union. I would definitely recommend his tour to my friends and family because it ended up being such a great experience.

I had a beautiful evening boat tour with Captain Dorin. He’s extremely knowledgeable of Seattle and loves hosting on his yacht, the Mitlite. He answers questions and tells you about your surroundings, but he also gives you as much privacy as you’d like. I would do this tour with him again - longer next time! Thank you, Captain Dorin. This tour allows you to get some nice pictures of the skyline. They are also very detailed with the history and make it interactive by asking you questions. It was fun and worth what we paid. I just could not stay outside because rain and cold are my kryponite...lol

What an incredible afternoon sailing around Lake Union. Captain Derek is such a sweet guy, really knowledgeable about the area and great to chat with. We can’t wait for our next visit to Seattle just so we can do another boat ride. Highly recommend! And seriously one of the most fun things we did while visiting the area.

Captain Derek was a wonderful host. My wife and I really enjoyed our sail on the Endeavor around Lake Union. If you are visiting Seattle don't miss the opportunity to have quiet time on the lake where you can relax with a glass of wine and enjoy life!

My weekend trip on the Endeavor was just the mini adventure I needed to recooperate from life as a desk jockey. We went to Lake Washington and felt far from the din of the city within an hour. Captain Derek is the grizzled, charming sailor of your dreams, sailing expertly and creating a relaxed atmosphere that was just what the doctor ordered. I can’t wait to take an even longer tour and would recommend Boat Tours Seattle to anyone!

Dorin hosted and conducted a wonderful tour of Lake Union this past June . Drawing on his vast knowledge of the boat and the lake, he is happy to share this information to those who are interested. The boat is beautiful and comfortable. We liked being able to bring our own food and beverages. A great experience.

Captain DB offered a unique view of Seattle. His command of the boat was supernatural and his charm while at the helm was magical. The best part of the tour was the hands-on experience. Derek allowed everyone (who wanted to) to play a part in the sailing experience by pulling the lines and steering the craft (at least long enough to take a FB profile photo). Bring a camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, a jumper, and questions about the early days of Seattle for the "Stump Derek" portion of the trip, and get ready for a great time. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

We had family visiting from out of town and wanted to show them a unique view of Seattle. We took them on a boat tour with BoatTourSeattle on a sunny weekend in July. Derek had a very calm and friendly demeanor, and a great sense of humor. He Evan offered to let my cousin steer the boat! Needless to say, everyone on the trip had fun and it was a very relaxing experience. We will most certainly be using them again.

Beautiful cruise, great boat, fun and capable staff. At capacity, the boat has more people than I would like, but you're also not springing for a private cruise. Great way to see the Seattle skyline on a sunny summer day.

Woohoo, this is as good as it gets! Captain Swart took us out to Bainbridge Island for a relaxing sail and a fun night on the island! What a great host he was. I'd recommend Seattle Boat Tours if you're in the area and looking for a fun boat charter! Great times! I'll surely be back for more!

Certainly deserves the five stars! Capt. Derek took us out into the sound for an exciting sail in stronger winds. Very enjoyable and not once was I put out of ease. Professional, entertaining (he's very friendly), and a good price to boot. His boat is beautiful. We'll be back for sure!

On July 23 we took a boat tour with BoatTourSeattle. We toured the Fremont and South Lake Union waters. It could not have been a more perfect day! Derrick and his guests were the kindest most welcoming people. They provided great history about Seattle and even had great recommendations on local food. Today we wanted to see and learn about Seattle, but I can see me coming back to have a romantic getaway with my husband. The versatile tour accommodates visitors AND locals. Derrick, the captain, is willing to let you jump in and help as much, or little, as you want.
