A Perfect Escape into Nature! From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The hotel is nestled in the woods, creating the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—exactly what we were looking for to unwind. The staff, Julian, Vanesa, Mateo and Daniel went above and beyond every single day. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out. The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented at every meal. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and relaxing on the private duck, which made the experience even more unforgettable. This place is a true gem. We left feeling completely refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

The cabins are self contained and super comfortable, with a very comfortable soft bed, plenty of sheets and blankets. We visited in March and had a mix of sun and rain and were very comfortable. The view from the cabin and deck is amazing and surrounded by nature. The jacuzzi was lovely and having a fire pit in the evening was perfect. Staff were extremely responsive and helpful by WhatsApp and kindly organised our taxi to the airport. Hot water was plentiful and filled the jacuzzi bath no problem. Internet connection was good in the cabin too. All the little details had been thought of and staff were great. Breakfast was delicious and served to your room if you wanted and always on time. And we loved the free use of the kayaks / paddle board on the lake too, everything was very easy. We found it fine to be able to get Ubers to and from the hotel too, or the reception can organise taxis, and it’s just ten minutes from La Piedra. Top location and hotel - highly recommend.

The Boato Hotel is magical ✨ Enjoyed every minute of our stay here celebrating my partners birthday. It truly is paradise for the nature lovers. With the indoor outdoor vibe and beautiful view of the lake they do a great job of setting up things so you can relax! The staff members are very friendly and do their best to accomadate you. The food here is excellent. From the pizza to the burgers and amazing breakfast it was so amazing we really did not need to leave the premises for much! Another thing we loved was the kayaking! It’s one of the included water activities at no extra cost. It was so peaceful and you can do it at your leisure. I believe they offer jet skis as well for an additional cost Things to keep in mind with arriving. It is an extremely hilly and bumpy terrain. The roads leading up to the Boato are narrow & only allows for one car at a time. So if you’re driving at night be very careful. Also the walk to your cabin could be on an incline so be prepared for a steep walk with luggage. Honorsble mentioned the nightly bonfire that staff sets up in front of your cabin if it’s not raining 🔥 oh and the outdoor jacuzzi tub with views! It was all apart of the adventure and made it such a memorable experience! Highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The food was also excellent, fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety. Truly a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Very unique cabin architecture. Great WiFi in rooms, Potable water in rooms with nice kitchenette. Hot water in the showers Best of all, the views of nature, hills and water were spectacular.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. Comfortable beds with excellent room amenities. We loved the fire and jacuzzi on the balcony and the view is incredible. Excellent room service.

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a place you’ll want to go back to over and over again. Beautiful scenery, exceptional food, great accommodations with incentives that make you feel like you don’t need to leave your room to enjoy Guatape.

Loved the experience. We came by TukTul from the city, about a 15-20 minute ride. The views are stunning. We were only here for a night. We really enjoyed the hot tub with our kids (make sure you turn 2 hours in advance). The service was also excellent, the staff was extremely responsive vía WhatsApp. We asked for food, requested a lighter for the kitchen and they came right away, and also answered all our questions. They also came between 6:30-7:30PM to light the fire pit, it was lovely with the views. Rooms are equipped with nice beds and extra blankets! Plus also fans for the hot days. Overall excellent!
