BOB hotel

We had a great experience at the BOB Hotel in Paris. The hotel was spotless and very well maintained, with a stylish and modern design that gives it a really nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout my stay.Check-in and check-out were quick and effortless, which made the whole experience even smoother. The rooms are on the smaller side, as is common in Paris, but the furnishings and decor are outstanding — everything feels thoughtfully designed and very comfortable.Overall, a beautifully decorated hotel with great service and an easy, hassle-free stay. I’d happily return on my next trip to Paris.

Not Yet a True 4-Star Experience Bob Hotel is listed as a 4-star hotel, but in my opinion, it’s not quite there yet. There are good aspects, but a few key service details need improvement to truly meet that standard. Let’s start with reception. The staff is polite and responsive, but there’s a lack of that warm welcoming energy that makes a first impression memorable. And first impressions matter — they shape how guests interpret the rest of their stay. When that first contact is warm and thoughtful, small issues later on feel less important. In the room, there was coffee available, which was appreciated. However, I still missed some of the personal welcome touches you’d expect from a 4-star hotel — like a shower cap, cotton pads, ear swabs, or a robe. At other hotels in the same category, these small details were included and made a difference. The biggest letdown was breakfast. The overall quality felt poor: no plain yogurt, low-end cereals, and very underwhelming baked goods — which is disappointing, especially in France. If a guest were to judge French pastries based on this breakfast alone, they’d completely miss what makes them special. Another issue was the timing. Breakfast ends at 10am, which feels too early for guests on holiday. I saw several guests show up just after 10, only to be told it was closed — and remember, breakfast is not included in the room rate, it’s paid separately. That’s a big miss in terms of guest experience. On the positive side: - The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, both in the hotel and the surrounding neighborhood, which feels safe and offers plenty of great restaurants. - The room looked exactly like the photos — charming design, and I liked that the toilet was separate from the shower. - Daily cleaning is available on request, which is a nice option. - Something worth mentioning: check-out is at 12 PM, which gives guests a more relaxed pace for packing and getting ready to leave. With a few thoughtful service improvements, Bob Hotel has the potential to truly earn its 4 stars. I hope to see it get there — the foundation is strong.

I had been a regular guest at this hotel for 2 years, until one night a member of staff entered my room at 3am! He knocked for some time and opened the door when I didn't answer. I had no idea what was going on, I couldn't sleep the rest of the night, I'm absolutely shocked and traumatised. It was actually a very frightening experience, a woman alone in the room and male staff entering my room while I was asleep. This is an extremely serious breach of personal space and no responsibility has been taken by the management of this hotel, no compensation, nothing. Hotel to avoid!

The hotel is in a quiet and lively neighborhood, conveniently located right next to Metro Line 13. It’s a peaceful spot with plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. Just a heads-up—if you're carrying large luggage, there's an escalator going up from the metro but not down. Our room was clean. The room looked exactly like the photos they posted online. Although our booking mentioned a bathrobe, it wasn’t provided. On the plus side, there's a water refill station in the lobby. Overall, not bad for a short stay.

Very nice hotel, convenient location next to a metro station. The room we stayed in, no 302, was perfect for our needs, clean, tidy with all the amenities needed. The check in and check out process was fast and efficient. The staff was kind and attentive. Totally recommended.

We had a wonderful stay in Paris at the Bob hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, helpful and very accommodating. The rooms were a lovely size with excellent decoration that was very well maintained and looked fresh. The cleanliness was outstanding throughout with great care and attention. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer room. It was close to Pernety metro station so very useful for location. Nice spaces inside to relax or work as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Nice and quiet place to stay. The hammam is well apprecied before or after a day of walk for visiting Paris. The location is good (near fromage Montparnasse rail station). Restaurants in the neighboroud are also nice and useful if you don't want to walk to far. Breaksfast is also good( croissant and pain au chocolat are good). Enjoy

As a mum and son duo, we travelled to Paris as a belated 60th Birthday trip.||||After many hours searching online, I decided to book this hotel due to a combination of the location, reviews and price. We were NOT disappointed.||||The hotel was in an excellent location but not in a tourist trap. The metro was a short walk at the end of the street, with all the sights within easy reach. The hotel staff were very accommodating, honouring our room request despite booking through a third-party website. ||||The room was excellent. It was located on the 6th floor, was a lot larger than I was expecting, and had very comfortable pillows and mattresses. You have coffee provided, but we could have done with a few more options. However, this was only minor and did not detract from our stay.||||Breakfast was included in our booking, but the options were limited. It was self-service, as we anticipated, but we managed to find things we liked to eat. A few more options could have been better, but again, this was only minor and more than adequate for our needs. ||||The staff were very warm and inviting, approachable and more than happy to help with any requests or recommend places to eat. The hotel was within effortless reach of Montparnasse, which I recommend if you are looking for places to eat in the evening - there is a massive choice of restaurants, bistros, and brasseries. ||||Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want an excellent base to explore, are happy to navigate the metro (easy enough with maps on an iPhone!) and want a hotel that is not in the centre of all the tourist traps.

First of all, let me tell you, Elegancia brand really having fun with those hotel names. There is a Snob Hotel, Handsome Hotel, Hidden Hotel... and, BoB Hotel. (there is more, but I would not bore you with whole list). Each of their boutique hotels is unique and tailored to the experience and neighborhood. I usually look for modern hotels when I travel, small boutiques and chains, since they tend to take special care of their guests. BoB Hotel was described as a great pad for travel professionals, as per their website - named The BOB Hotel & Coworking, or Business on Board - and it is. It is clean, modern, with details and features you would love when you are in town for few days on business (or leisure) trip. I must say, also, each of their hotels is beautifully designed. In this particular one, modern light fixtures, spacious shower with beautiful tile work and tiny star lights, huge bed, nostalgic views from tiny balcony and playful artwork photos over the bed. Work hard, play hard, amiright? They also lend you loaner phone with local tips and locations and ability to call locally, which is awesome touch. Free WiFi, common room & free snacks are all add to best stay ever. Their staff is amazing, so welcoming and friendly, makes you feel at home. Location cannot be beat, smack in the middle of historical area, short walk to subway and all attractions. Love this brand. Highly recommend all Elegancia hotels.

My husband and I booked our first few days in Paris here. It was in the more suburb side, away from the tourist attractions. But close enough to the Metro (Pernety) that it was only 20 mins to any attraction. There is nice brassiere at the corner of the street for breakfast, but there is also one served at the hotel. Unfortunately, my husband and I did not go, so I cannot comment. The staff is very friendly and speak English well. The room is smaller than American hotels (as expected). The room was nice and cozy. We had a small balcony that faced the street. Since most of the stores were closed in August, there was little street noise when the window was opened. The bathroom was a special. It had sparkling lights as the backdrop in the shower. Really pretty! Overall a great stay at a great location!!

Clean hotel and comfortable bedding! This hotel is located right next to the subway, you can easily walk there in less than 2 minutes and go anywhere you want in Paris. The hotel staff also spoke English and have maps of Paris to help get around :) and the price wasn't so bad compared to other hotels in the area.
