Bobbers Island Grill

We had the best dinner in the Dells at Bobbers! The wait staff was so attentive, and super accommodating for a group of 9 with five children in the mix. Our boys loved playing in the sandbox, seeing sidewalk chalk offered at the table, and trying Alligator bites for the first time. The appetizers were fast to come out, and our food was all great quality and delicious. I had a steak while my husband had the Lobster Mac&Cheese. I would eat here again in an instant. Yuriel our server went above and beyond to refill drinks, grab tiny drink umbrellas at the kid’s requests, and left us with helium filled balloons and bracelets at the end of the dinner. A true “wow factor” to top off an awesome dining experience. Thanks, Yuriel.

Easy five star! We been to bobbers a couple times here in the dells and they never disappoint. Everyone LOVED the food at our table. We got a variety of things, all enjoyable. Services was second to none. Wait staff was very attentive and pleasant! Atmosphere was dope as hell! We will certainly be back 🤘

We recently celebrated my mom’s 90th birthday party at Bobbers. It was an awesome experience. Jeff, Marcy and the staff did a fantastic job taking care of us!! The food was outstanding! Thank you very much for a wonderful time and your generosity!!!! The Stanton Family

Stopped in on Xmas day for dinner Kids got pizza which was surprisingly good and I got the mahi mahi which was pretty good too. We also got a variety of cheese curds which was also pretty good. The drink machine was on the fritz and at one point our drinks tasted like dishwater but it was no big deal, he gave us refills which seemed better. The waiter was nice and accommodating. Overall, the restaurant had a cool atmosphere, where you could draw all over the paper table cloth which makes it extremely kid friendly along with the decor. The entrance we went in was going thru the bar first which was an impressive set up for live music. The folks in the bar were pretty rowdy/loud but once you get past the bar, the dining room is very separate and quiet. They also have an entrance thru a gift shop which has a lot of cool things with their logo on it. Clean and quiet. Has a cool set up. Our meal was cheaper than I figured which is always nice.

Had the best experience here. The food is amazing, best Prime Rib in town. The bartenders, Bouncy and Serenity were very welcoming, knowledgeable and gave me the best service ive had in the dells. Definitely recommend this place. Plow driver max did awesome job cleaning the parking lot. Pretty sure the manager has a BBL. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!!!

Combo business, restaurant and night club. We were there for food mid day, and it was a great experience dining. Sat at the bar, but there was plenty of room seats available. Food was delicious and properly prepared. Staff was friendly, helpful, and engaging. The decor was full on seaside themed: ships, netting, etc. Very "getaway" feeling.

We came here because our hotel had a 20% off coupon. Some of the food was great and some of the food missed the mark. The ribs were excellent, fall of the bone for sure! The Jammin’ fries are tasty too. The lobster Mac is imitation lobster (and we knew that) but it really was not a favorite. The nachos were soggy, with hardly a crisp chip in the pile. My daughter’s burger was cooked really well, nice and juicy too. I would order something different if we ever came back. It was great for a huge crowd of people and our waiter was excellent!

Came here from out of town and i absolutely love this place! I ordered their entree “bobbers shrimp” and had a “shark tank” cocktail it was all delicious! And they also had a live band definitely enjoyed the music as well😄

On our trip to the Wisconsin Dells, we stayed at Wyndham Glacier Canyan. Just across from Wilderness Resort, we found Bobber's for our evening meal. Our hostess was a really cute red-head with a bubbling personality. She sat us outside. The weather in September was a pleasant 72 degrees. The traffic on and main through-street in the Dells and football games kept our attention while we waited for our meals. I felt that the sound was turned on too loud. Guess they were expecting a lot of people. I ordered Jerk Chicken. My daughter-in-law ordered Lobster Mac and Cheese and my son ordered Mahi Mahi. We also embellished in 2 for 1 Mai-Tai's. The meals were delicious as they were nourishing. Our waiter was courteous and service was quick and efficient. This is a great place to dine with children. Next time we are in town, we definitely will return!

Not super impressed with this place. We sat in the bar area which is also a club at night called The Reef. The meat was cold on the nachos and didn't have much flavor and the calamari was just okay. Amazing and fun place to eat! Thought this place looked so cool from the outside and had such a variety of fish options. The service was great but there was no option to split the bill. We were also 3 adults on vacation and got seated next to the kids sand pit. Other than that I had a great experience!

Have been going here since it was called Marleys. Cool atmosphere and good jerk chicken. 3% surcharge for using a credit card but food comes quickly and is tasty.

Food was actually horrid. The shrimp was decent but the fish tacos were straight trash. I ordered blackened and they were whiter than Mclovin. Waste of $82. Only half decent thing was my hot wife and the walmart mix of their drink special. Nice server though.

Family of 7 on a Tuesday night . Got a table immediately. Had a few drinks(check the size before ordering ) crab dip was delicious. All of the food was delicious ( fish sandwich, steak sandwich, hamburger) our server, Carter, was very polite and made sure we enjoyed our visit. The place is decorated with fishing bobbers which made it feel like you were on the lake or ocean.

Fresh food and the Jamaican greens are amazing. Personal service and fun atmosphere.we will definitely come back.

This place was suggested to us by my brother. It looked like it would be fun with all its touristy and kitchy decorations and various sizes of bobbers. However, my family and I would not return. We were not advised of any of their specials, which I later discovered they had both alcohol and food daily specials. Luckily (or unluckily as I definitely should not have tried it) we went with their two for one with their Bobbers tea. It was a sticky sweet drink with no taste of alcohol whatsoever. They were gross and I would never order them, again. Due to there being only one option for vegetarians ($15 black bean burger) I did not eat anything other than some French fries stolen from the rest of my family. The girls went with the chicken strip kids meals which included no drink but did include a whole two strips and some French fries or mashed potatoes for $8 each. They were not enthused with the taste or size. The husband had the Jerk fish sandwich which also included mashed potatoes. This came with a $16 price tag and a very scant amount of actual jerk sauce. He said it tasted just a slight improvement over McDonald's fish filet. My oldest son had the Island tacos for $18. He said they were decent, but the shrimp was undercooked. The waitress was nice, but she didn't seem very knowledgeable. We understand the Dells are a tourist attraction, but this place needs to up their overall game.

This restaurant has lots of seating which includes outdoor seating as well. The island theme is nice for the area as it's different. The menu is large and also has a nice drink selection. There is an outdoor bar that is open seasonally. The taco salad while good didn't have enough lettuce and the ground beef was too greasy. The Mac and Cheese was good. Our server was very nice. Worth another try.

Amazing food and service! Staff were great and the food was spectacular all around! The environment was peaceful, perfect for a family dinner or lunch

LOVE this place. So much available outdoor seating, a band every Friday night and Theodore our server was absolutely marvelous. He was attentive, our order was correct and the food was great! They let the kids have corn hole bags and we sat in lawn chairs while they played corn hole on the patio . They also have an ice cream stand for dessert. Such a great place to sit outside and enjoy family time and listen to music in the Dells

Nice ambiance, nice decor. The server was just okay -- kind of slow and couldn't answer many menu questions. They hype their jerk. However, when asked the type of wood they used for smoking, he couldn't answer. Jerk is smoked using pimento wood. The cocktails were pretty good. We visited this restaurant once before. Yea, I would go again.

We visited Bobbers for the first time. Our waitress was really helpful and friendly. The place was confusing and we had a difficult time finding anything on the menu that we really wanted. We ended up with nachos to share. I really don't believe that we will return.

This is is nice island get-away right in the Dells. The place is huge. It has a large private parking lot that is free for its patrons to park. It also has an awesome outside patio that is pretty large and has a full bar out there with televisions, a fire pit, a decent sand volleyball court, a sand play area with toys in it, shuffleboard and a cabana. It is a very very nice patio area. Inside is huge and spacious. One side is a bar area with seating televisions and a huge open floor which I believe is a dance floor. On the other side you will find strictly a dining area with tables and booths. They have a lot of coloring materials for the littles. You will also find a small arcade in the front of that area. They don't have many games, but could still entertain a gamer for a bit. They have daily drink specials and a menu packed with signature cocktails and tropical themed food such as Jerk Shrimp, Island Tacos, Mahi, Mahi, Jerk Sandwich and BBQ Jerk Pork Mac & Cheese. I went with the BBQ Jerk Pork Sandwich with Jammin' Fries and a Shark Tank cocktail to wash it down. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my food. It was ok. I was not a real fan of the fries that were luke warm and a bit too crispy for me. The sandwich was decent but the meat was drowned out by the bread. The Shark Tank is a huge drink and cost $30, which I think is a bit hefty, but then I remembered, I am paying tourist prices. The drink was also just ok. I would definitely try something else if I make it back here. The others in my group liked their food though, which is a positive sign. I must have just got a bad draw. All in all, this is a fun and neat family restaurant with a very friendly staff. They have a lot to do here and it almost makes you think you are on a tropical island. I like really the places fun, tropical vibe. I would definitely come back here and recommend this spot for you and your crew to get a bite to eat.

Ordered the smothered steak The side Cesar had virtually no dressing . I still ate it bc I don't usually complain. Steak came out burnt and tasted like char . I mentioned the steak was burned and I no longer wanted it . So the manager told our server all sales were final and they wouldn't remove it from the bill even though they burned it . Kind of silly if you ask me . The server was good . Bad policy and management in my opinion . Outdoor patio and band was why I'm giving this 3 stars .

The place was a ghost town. The ribs were like chewing jerky. Pricey given the quality. Go to dinner elsewhere and avoid the mistake I made!

We were a little skeptical because of the reviews but we took a leap of faith and tried it out. The vibe there is awesome, there was a live band that was really good! The food came fairly quickly and the portions were huge AND tasty!! The jerk is perfectly flavored and the mango chutney paired with the rice and extra sauce is perfect. The kiddos ordered from the kids menu and their portions were good and delicious. I actually nibbled on my daughters pizza it was sooo good. Our server was also great! We had a great time and would visit again.

We stopped here on Sunday after going to 2 other popular restaurants that had 45 min waits. With 6 kids we weren't having that and got in right away. Our service was excellent. I forget our waiters name (younger guy), but he checked on us multiple times and was super prompt. We all ordered different things and all were good. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I'd had in a long time. If we wouldn't of had to drive after that, I would of also ordered one of their specialty drinks. They looked awesome. Another perk for our group was that they had their own small area with a handful of games. The kids loved that!

Our server Mayta was very friendly and knowledeable. She was pleasant conversationalist and made recommendations. Surprisingly, no shrimp on kids menu so we had to order over-priced adult shrimp meals for two of our kids (6 medium sized shrimp, rice, and french fries for $20).

Was my first time at bobbers and went to the bar and had a pretty bartender named Tiana she was very helpful in helping me with the drink menu and knowledgeable of her drinks. 10/10 would recommend and ask for Tiana!

We had an amazing experience. We sat outdoors in the patio, it was very relaxing, peaceful, and great background music. The food was delicious and there is something for everyone. Our server Justin was a real gem and went above and beyond. Definitely worth the trip.

I never write reviews, but everything my family ordered here was dry and gross, and the waitress couldn't handle her tables. The manager was very short with us and didn't apologize for the dry food. My family ate their food but I couldn't eat the lobster tail I ordered because it was so dry and was discolored (blackish). My sister's cuban didn't come with mustard and waitress argued that it was made correctly without sauce until we got a menu and showed her it was supposed to include it. Caesar wrap also was lacking dressing. The cocktails seemed like they came with light alcohol and tasted premade. We asked what was in the cocktail special of the night that she advertised, and the waitress couldn't tell us what alcohol or mixer was in it. We ordered it and it was not good. The only good thing about this restaurant was their cheese curds and atmosphere.

We love this place! We go to the Dells a few times a year and we come to Bobber's often. Crab dip and beach bread are yummy! Shrimp tacos and the Mahi Mahi also something we always order. The kids can draw with chalk on the floor outside and they have a sandbox! The atmosphere is nice and the staff is great. Carter is awesome! He brought some balloons for my kids at the end of the dinner last time - never thought balloons would make them so happy

Great staff! Love the decor! Fun for the kids to look at. Definitely a family friendly place. Our kiddo loved her mac & cheese. Loved the Rum Shrimp!! Definitely will go back there when in Wisconsin Dells again.

I used to love coming here as far back as when it was Marley's. I would always order the jerk pork pasta. Knowing what I order, I didn't even bother looking at the menu. The server came to our table and took my two friends orders and then looked to me and I just held the menu out and asked for the jerk pork pasta. She gave me a puzzled look and said, "I don't know what that is." So I take my menu back and look around and sure enough, the jerk pork pasta is gone. I see they still have jerk pork and they have seafood and chicken alfredo so I ask to get jerk pork alfredo. Without even going to the kitchen the server says to me, "We can't do that." "You have jerk pork and you have alfredo. I don't see the problem." "I'm sorry. We can't do it." The service and ambience in this place was always worse after they changed from Marley's to Bobbers and switched from relaxing Reggae music to horrible country music but they still made my favorite dish that I can't get from anywhere local so I continued to come back every time I was in the Dells, but I don't think I'll be going back now. The place is nothing like what it used to be and the absence of a full parking lot is proof. The place used to always be packed.

This newer place up in the Dells definitely has a laid back island vibe to it. This place is huge, With Large patio and large indoor space. Colors are bold and vibrant. The menu is large, with an emphasis on Caribbean specialties like Jerk Chicken, Seafoods, Pastas, and Sandwiches, For an appetizer we had a warm seafood dip served in a bread bowl and it was delicious - see pic. We also ordered a shaved prime rib sandwich to share but after the bread bowl, we just took the sandwich to go. The service was attentive and prompt. There is ample parking and they even have an ice cream truck set up in the lot. A great family place that truly has something for, everyone

We ate outside and it was so relaxing. It wasn't busy at all, maybe because it was a Monday. Our waiter was very good. He came back several times to be sure everything was good. That's great customer service. All customers were spread apart throughout the eating area which made it quiet and relaxing to enjoy our meal.

Tried the Bobbers Cuban, Jerk Pork Wrap, Crab Louie Burger, pizza and a couple of kids burgers. No complaints from anyone. We all enjoyed every bite. The waitress was friendly and very prompt. Little to no wait and a pleasant atmosphere. If we are ever here again we are sure to stop by.

We ate here with a family of six, children and adults and there was something for everyone here. Reasonable prices and good portions, too. There is indoor and outdoor seating with fun decor throughout. We had excellent service, engaging and friendly waitress.

This place is huge. Lots to do. The 4 stars are mainly based on my server. And the style of food. Lots of jerk style dishes. No curry goat sadly. My server will know what I'm talking about. Maybe in Jamaica soon.

Ordered calamari. Legitimately got 7 pieces and they didn't even look like normal calamari. They looked like small Orion rings. $13.99 for 7 pieces of "calamari". Food you could tell was frozen before hand. Would not recommend.

Don't be in any hurry!! Food was good. Allow plenty time.... 1 1/2 hour easily for lunch 2 pastas and an appetizer

I debated this a little, but it is worth 5 stars. They seemed a little slow, but we are coming to realize, things just move slower in restauranta here. Chicken tinga nachos were darn good. Coconut shrimp was great. But the jerk pork tostadas... wowie. That jerk pork was the first time I found jerk flavoring to be worth my time. Outstanding. My picky eater, who said he felt like throwing up and didn't want any foor, said it smelled so good he wanted to try it. And then he ate all the meat off one of the tostadas. This kids lives on chicken fingers and fries so it was a huge win. Atmosphere was fun. I'd like to try drinks but I had plenty earlier in the day. Our server Jaime did a great job. Also, check in on Yelp when you go! 15% discount!

Excellent. Our fav restaurant in the Dells. Food is great. Service is fabulous. And the price is right.

We came on a Friday evening with 5 adults and two kids -- we were seated right away on the outdoor patio which was super nice as it was a lovely day and there was live music! The country artist (sorry don't remember his name) was from Nashville and sounded great! The only other saving grace is that it has a lot of fun things to entertain the kids like a sand box, giant four square and chalk on the tables. Other than that it was a pretty awful experience: food was terrible and tasted microwaved, our server was rude, hasty, and messed up or forgot our orders, and the music was so loud you couldn't talk to each other anymore. Definitely won't be going back

Theodore was our server and was amazing! The food was absolutely amazing! Very kid friendly with sand pits for them to play in and chalk to draw outside! Fun outside place to go for a relaxing night with live music! This is a must go place!

Jasmine rice was delicious! Grilled salmon was a tad undercooked. My merlot wine was good. My husband had a steak sandwich and fries and he said it was nothing to write home about. All staff members were friendly.

Service was great and the decor was fun but the food was just ok. I got the seafood fettuccini. There were two shrimp and maybe a piece of lobster but the rest was fake crab and lobster meat which had a weird texture. The sauce tasted like jar Alfredo sauce mixed with cheese. My husband got the lobster Mac and Cheese and said it was good. We also got the Del Mar crab dip. It was not great but my husband liked it. I just think his taste buds are not good. lol. Not sure if I would return and try anything else.

This bar has it all. Family friendly dining area, separate bar with plenty of TV's to watch the games, AND a dance floor called The Reef. Not to mention their little slot machines and dart games in a corner if you want to just hang out with friends. This place has great service and great food that comes in quickly. I ordered the Chicken Nachos and they were very filling. Quite the atmosphere if you wanna just come in for a drink alone or if you want to sit with your kids and family and dine in. Bartenders were very attentive and quick with anything I needed. Nothing to complain about.

The cleanliness was awful, table and condiments sticky. Portions were good but quality of food was the worse I have had anywhere in the past 4 yrs despite the high marks.

I've been coming to the Dells for about 10 years and never really ventured out too much for food, we all know it's cheaper to just bring your own. Bobbers is right down the street from the Wilderness so I thought I'd check it out. I sat outside which was really nice, perfect weather for that this weekend. The only bad part about it was the table of about 8 kids next to me. They were younger teenagers and extremely loud, screaming and carrying on about the bees. The thing that made it worse was the tables of parents right next to them not saying anything, maybe a little "hey quiet down a little" would've been nice. Our waitress wasn't bad, she was nice and knew a little about the menu. I ended up getting the crab Louie burger which is pretty good based in her recommendation, maybe a little less of the dip and it would be better. I tried the sampler as well and that was very good, I especially liked the beach brea Overall I would go back but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice.

Stopped here while traveling for work, food and service were really good and much appreciated after a long day of travel! Only negative thing was a bunch of flies everywhere, I did sit outside but they were bad. Everything else is was great and I'll stop again for sure!

Great spot, fun Island atmosphere. Creative menu. Great drinks, we had the 2for1 drunk special, the Tipsy Bobber. Transported back to Jamaica, great server Damani, Jamaican native- give him a raise! Rum Shrimp with Jamaican greens And Jerk Pork Pasta Good food, reasonably priced for the Dells

Service was slow but food was delicious. We shared a plate of the jerk combo and it was plenty of food for both of us.

Prices are up and portions seamed smaller. Our server and one other staff member were very pushy, as if they needed the table. FYI - Coconut Shrimp is not deep fried shrimp with coconut sprinkled over it. I also had a Summer (Moscow) Mule that tasted like they missed the glass with the alchohol. It has been better in the past.

Great meal and atmosphere. We had a large group with lots of kids and they had fun in the sand pit. Food was flavorful and came out fast! Teddy was our server and he was great!
