We had an excellent experience at Bobby Q in Glendale. The beef rib was tasty but a little lacking in meat, while the brisket was really good and had a nice roast-like flavor. It was definitely not KC style, but it still had good flavor. The chicken was great, and the mac and cheese was the show stopper!. The baked beans were disappointing and lacked flavor, but the fries and cornbread were both very good. We got the beer fries, not shoestring, and they were a great choice. I really enjoyed the chipotle ranch with my fries. No words to describe how delicious the butter cake was. Overall, it was a great meal, and our waitress Natalie was fantastic, making the experience even better.

This was some of THE best bbq we have ever had!! We love bbq so that isn’t given lightly. My husband and I couldn’t stop raving about how good it was after we left! Their brisket was perfect and the ribs were just as good! We’ll definitely be back! They even gave us little donuts when we left! The service was also amazing! Manager Donny and our server Vincent went above and beyond to make this such a memorable and special night!

When we travel, we always like to try restaurants that we do not have in our area. Bobby’s did not disappoint! We were greeted by the very friendly hostess as we entered and were seated quickly. It was a Thursday evening and it was busy. Our server, Nate, was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered us some popular suggestions. We chose his selection of Q Rolls (6) and they were delicious. Smoked beef brisket, rolled in a tortilla and deep fried. We tried the baby back ribs (falls off the bone), smoked brisket (so tender I cut it with my fork), rotisserie chicken (very juicy), baked beans, macaroni and cheese (extremely creamy), and the fire roasted corn (good but not a lot of flavor). Nate, was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. At the end, we were surprised when he brought homemade donuts with the bill. What a nice touch from Bobby’s to give their customers! They were fabulous, thank you!

My boyfriend and I made reservations for Christmas Eve and they got us in real quick. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out! I ordered the 10z prime rib and it came with au jus. My 2 sides I chose were bbq baked beans which were delicious and a loaded baked potato! Wow ! So good ! And the corn bread that came with our meal was cooked perfectly! For dessert my boyfriend and I shared the chocolate Mcgee mud pie. So good! Service was great too. They had our food out fast too. I loved everything! Will be back ! Visted on 10 Dec for dinner with friends who recommended it. Some of the best BBQ anywhere. I and my buddy had the 3 meat combos, both with sausage, ribs, and brisket. Ladies had the salmon and pulled bbq chicken. Everything was excellent. The best brisket I've ever had. Fall apart tender, just thr right smoke, and very flavorful. Great cornbread and sides. Service was excellent also. Sorry about the partially chowed down pics, but I forgot to take pics when the food was served...I just had to dig in right away. If BBQ is your thing, you've got to hit up Bobby-Q's and you will not be disappointed!

It's very rare that I give restaurants five stars. However, this restaurant by far exceeds five stars. If I could give it ten stars, I would. The atmosphere was a little loud. But that's expected when you have a packed restaurant (which should tell you the quality of the restaurant). The service was great and our server was very kind. As for the food, exceptional. The best corn bread I've eaten. If we were not from out of town, I would make this place a regular for sure.

Just got in town after long flight and decided to come for early dinner based off recommendations. I was seated right away in the bar area and was greeted by Alyssa, who was amazing. So friendly, gave great recommendations and provided excellent service. I ordered the 14 oz prime rib with Mac-n-cheese and broccoli with garlic butter. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and had great flavor, Mac-n-cheese was on point, and the garlic butter broccoli was great... loved the garlic butter! They also gave me the little cinnamon donuts to go, which were also good. Highly recommend! Thanks for the excellent service Alyssa!

We were originally going to go to Sushi 32, and we smelled that southern bbq smell and decided to try Bobby Qs and to say the least, I'm glad we did. Amazing service and the drinks and food were delicious. Highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing service with attentive staff. In Phoenix for spring training games and I was extremely satisfied with the quality and the high level of service Bobby Q. This is a restaurant that can serve over 200 guests based on the size and high quality of the employees they manage to provide five star service to everyone. The brisket was amazing and the meal started out with some extraordinary corn bread.... If you looking to have a delicious barbecue experience head over to Bobby Q!!!

Last night was my celebration dinner, we had a party of 15 people 5 of which were children. Upon sitting down at the table no kids menus were provided and I had to ask after 15 minutes if they had kids menus, to which one of our servers stated they did and if I would like a few, ( considering we had kids at the table duh.) once we finally got our order in and food started to come out at different times, a few people got their food, 5 minutes later a few more got food and then finally the rest of our food came out and was on the table, nothing was super extraordinary for it to come out at different times. I had asked for a medium rare steak, when I cut into my steak it was medium well, it lacked flavor. After flagging the server down 2 different times he took the steak back and it took over 15 minutes to bring a new one back another one that cooked worse than first one. The lack of service was horrendous, there were so many little things that could have been handled better. At this point I was over the whole experience, and wanted to leave, it took over 15 minutes and I had to ask again for the checks to come out. I won't be going back again this whole experience was just overwhelming and frustrating. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Friday February 28, 2025 The Phoenix Cane and Walker Society held the Weekly Luncheon meeting at Bobby Q. We got a great table, behind the Hostess and Donut Island, round, well lit. Ariel took our drink and food orders, delivered the trademark Cornbread Wheels with honey butter. Most of us ordered Perfect Burgers, medium well, the reast had plainer wings, sauce on the side. Our sides were Cole slaw, ranch beans and fries. Our finish was apple cobbler and mini donuts. I made jokes about Perfect Burgers.It really was a delicious meal. Cole slaw here is best in the valley. The beans were Bar b que beans; what I consider Texas Style. Fries, eay em fast before they cool. The Naked Wings were crunchy, crispy, meaty. With a choice of sauce, re-orderable. It was all re-orderable, Yum. The Apple Cobbler and it's full moon of vanilla ice cream waswhack my palate good. The crust, the cinnamon and sugar, the apples - working together for a delicious bite.

I went between a 3 and 4 star. I didn't get a refill on my water ever so had to make it last the meal. Decent prices for portion, the started cornbread and butter is delicious (and complimentary). The beef ribs are ginormous and a bit on the fattier side. The donut holes at the end of your meal (also complimentary) were pretty yummy too. The sides were a solid choice, all options included. A little odd when I asked for a table and then told me to sit at the bar because I was solo, and it wasn't a busy time. But it worked out!

Bobby Q's is one of my favorite barbeque spots to dine at. With my most recent visit I had Smoked Brisket Tacos and a House salad. The tacos were so delicious, full of flavor that was bursting in mouth! I'd say the portion size on the tacos was very good as well. The salad was very refreshing, lettuce and veggies were crunchy and fresh.

When Bobby Q is all lite up at night time , it does create a great atmosphere. Found it very cute. Service was attentive and answered all our questions. Just the down side was the taste of all the food. The biggest highlights were the free corn bread and donuts at the end of the meal. The Bobby's mule was an okay drink. The mac and cheese was probably the best side we got, as we didn't like the ranch beans and the corn was okay. In terms a flavor for a BBQ spot, it was just okay. I'm not sure if it had to do with being close to closing but I'm not the biggest fan of when BBQ sauce is just drenched over the meats as it's hard to get the flavor of the meat. The ribs- St. Louis style was my favorite but both ribs were good. They were juicy and fall off the bone tender. The brisket was just not hitting the spot. Then the chicken , I would just pass on. Overall, as I said -it was an okay meal not the best ,considering the corn bread and donut were the star.

Five Stars all the way. American BBQ. Say no more. Park your calorie conscience at the door, people! Extraordinary place. Well-run, they know what they're doing here. We ordered: Pulled pork: 10/10 Rib tips: 9/10 Mac & Cheese: 7.5/10 Boston Baked Beans: 6/10 Two iced-teas no sugar Service: 100/10 The meat is the draw here. I tried the Mac & Cheese and frankly am not used to creamy things. Boston baked beans were a bit sweet for my palate. We devoured our meat. They have a huge menu including Mexican and Southwestern favourites too. Loved it here.

A little disappointed this visit. I placed a to-go order of catfish during my dining experience.. I asked for the catfish to be extra crispy, but upon receiving it I checked the container of fish and it almost looked flash fried. There was nothing crispy about it. I decided to take it home to put it in my air-fryer becuase the check was already paid for.

We had a really amazing experience at this location. I've never been to a restaurant where LITERALLY everything I try is delicious! We did the meal where you Choose 5 different meats! Soooo good fall off the bone! The Mac and cheese is probably the best I've had from any restaurant (yes we try the Mac and cheese everywhere we go). The loaded mashed potatoes were incredibly flavorful, as well as the tender sweet corn bread!!! I Really enjoyed our server and absolutely loved the ambiance here, you'd never know you were in the ghetto.

Never disappointed, always the greatest BBQ in town. They start with a portion of Corn bread. Then My wife had the Prime Dip (French Dip) with a side order of Fries. I had a half rack of Baby Backs with beans and Mac-n-Cheese sides. Every was delicious, and our server Sidney couldn't have more helpful or friendly. As a going away gift they had you a bag a mini cinnamon, donuts. Alway a good time.

Love this place! If you're going with one other person and love bbq meat get the whole hog heaven and try a bunch of different meats! The portions are awesome and soo filling! Also all their sides are good so get any of them! The service is always great and the atmosphere is always so nice! The complimentary corn bread and donuts at the end make this place worth so much more!! Keep it up Bobby Q's!!

I was certain that with the amount of business and reviews that this was going to be a good lunch spot. Unfortunately it was not my favorite meal. First I'll start with the good stuff. The service was great, everyone was attentive and friendly and nice. No pushy upsells or anything. The vibe was good, easy breezy, very spacious. The food was not it. I'd rather have wood ranch bbq or even Dave's! It was just sloppy and saucy in a bad way. The brisket was all chopped up and doused in sauce (not at my request) I was expecting a sliced fatty brisket. The beef rib was rubbery and not very tender or flavorful for that matter. The sausage was fine, it was my favorite of the three meats. I was quite disappointed, I will not be back. There has to be better in phoenix, we gotta do better.

Nate is a super talented Server, very attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Love the ambiance at Bobby Q's, nothing super fancy but rustic and clean. Craft Cocktails are well balanced and tasty. Food is always good. Don't miss the opportunity when in the area.

The food looked appealing, however, 5 of the 6 of us had intimate relations with our porcelain thrones...some from both ends. I will say that the Apple cobbler was good, hence, the 1 star. I can't in good conscience recommend this place for anyone. Wonderful service though...

I've always loved this place. Been going here for years. Great food great service and helpful and kind. Nice and clean seating area. You can get carried away because it's not carried away because everything is so good.

If the Bobby Q neon sign or the "World Famous Slow-Smoked Barbecue" doesn't catch your attention, then the deliciously smoky and sweet smell or barbecue will! The 2 Meat Combo is perfect if you want to try multiple meat options or if you literally couldn't decide between the beef ribs and beef brisket like me. The beef ribs were superior, by the way. So tender and rich, not too fatty, and not doused in BBQ sauce. The beef brisket was pretty dry and the BBQ sauce on top added some sweetness but didn't improve the overall flavor. The shoestring fries and mac & cheese were both solid sides. I was pleasantly surprised that my waiter offered Cornbread which I happily accepted! The Cornbread is sweet, buttery, but could be more moist. The real icing on the cake were the complimentary Donuts they offered! They were so small, warm and fresh, and just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. It's just the right portion you would want after all this savory food. Pretty solid BBQ at Bobby Q; check them out!

Man, I had really high hopes for this place. Walking up to the doors, the smoked meat smelled awesome. I got a pulled pork sandwich and a dessert and I gotta admit, it was pretty average pulled pork for being a $20 dollar entree. The butter cake tasted like something out of a box. The service was average and the ambiance is nothing to write home about. I'll likely not return.

Great food, very good atmosphere out on the patio. Service was wonderful. This BBQ restaurant is a keeper.

All of the food that we ate was delicious. The corn bread & Mac n cheese are my favorite sides. The ambiance is a fun Southern Bayou vibe. Service was great & I will definitely be eating there again in the future.

First time visiting Bobby Q after hearing great reviews from friends! Ambience was fun! Felt very southern and casual. Our server gave us top notch service with great recommendations. Their signature Q rolls were outstanding. Seriously, I could just eat two orders of them and call it a day. The steak I ordered during happy hour was just okay. Wouldn't get it again-not very tasty and kind of flabby. The sides of roasted corn and Mac and cheese were delicious though! I would definitely come back for those Q rolls and maybe to try another entree.

Promise to change my review once you publicly respond When are you changing out ALL of your SEED oils and artificial oils like margarine and corn oil and canola oil from your recipes and frying? We look forward to MAHA but won't eat there until you are arriving CLEAN foods! thank you!!!

My first bite of my appetizer (brisket rolls) had plastic wrapping mixed with the brisket. For my entree, I ordered a variety plate so I could try a few options having never visited. The roasted corn was sweetened, not my preference, unless creamed, sadly this wasn't that. The bbq sauce was also very sweet, also not my preference. Unfortunately my ribs were coated in this sauce. I did enjoy the spicy sausage, though I wish it weren't pre-sliced. The mac and cheese was very tasty, 2/4 on my plate is a disappointment though. My husband ordered chopped ends (iirc), he was not prepared for the amount of bone and tendon, and didn't enjoy the experience. If you like overly sweet food, with a risk of hidden plastic, come here! On a positive note, you do get free mini donut ball's as you check out. The manager did comp that appetizer, but big yikes on the hidden hazard I don't think I'll find a reason to return.

Reservations: easy to make. Service: fast! Food: hearty and good with large portion sizes (Shareable). Ambiance: fun, loud, and friendly.

So so so good!!! I'm from LA and when I visit AZ it is a must to dine at Bobby q's. They have ribs like no other and that delicious corn bread and cole slaw omg. I'm drooling and want some now. lol

Came back to try Bobby Q again. I still think the Q Rolls are by far the best item on the menu. Our server tonight was busy and not overly personable but he was efficient. Review of F&B: Q Rolls: 5 stars. Delicious. Whoever thought these up was a genius. Pulled pork sandwich: 3.5 stars. My pork had some fatty stuff in it. I could only eat half the sandwich. My husband loved his. Mac and cheese: 3 stars. Kinda tasted like it's made with Velveeta? Which is weird. Shoestring fries: 4 stars. Good flavor. Strawberry lemonade: 4 stars. Would be 5 stars if they did refills but they don't. Corn bread: 5 stars. Delicious. Wish they would bring you more of this. If you're coming here get the Q Rolls. Trust me on this!

I'm one that loves good bbq and the food here is amazing! If you're looking for a great family restaurant that provides excellent service you will get that here. I enjoyed every bite , definitely give them a try!!

This was only my second time here. I don't remember much about my first time but this time was really good! We started with the Q Rolls, which are like egg rolls with brisket inside. They were delicious best thing I've eaten in a while!! My wife and I both got pulled pork sandwiches, her side was Mac and cheese and mine was shoestring fries. I thought the sandwich was pretty good. The toasted bun put it over the top. My wife didn't to enjoy her sandwich as much. She ended up eating less than half of it and her Mac and cheese tasted like artificial cheese, almost plastic tasting. Service was top notch throughout the entire meal.

Yes! The bbq is the best and so is all the sides. Don't go - I don't want to wait 45 min for a table.

I was kinda frustrated in the beginning that they don't offer a lunch menu on the weekends, but didn't let that deter me. Ordered the baby back ribs w Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. OMG were they SO good! And I have leftovers! Fall of the bone and SO much meat. The sides weren't can't either and both were excellent. Don't tell my mom but they were just as good as her mashed potatoes! I ordered an old fashioned, probably would skip on this next time just kinda plain for $16. They have great outdoor and covered seating which was so nice! Oh, I don't normally like cornbread but omg it was so good!!!! I asked for more to go! And they surprised me in the end with some donuts to take home. I'll definitely be back.

I love beef ribs and this is the only place I have found that gives you meaty beef ribs. All the people with me had wonderful food also. I was unhappy that we hadn't had enough time to enjoy our appetizers before our food came. Lesson learned, don't order your meal before you have enjoyed your appetizers. All in all a wonderful experience.

Talk about filling..! Pretty good BBQ. Lots of options. I had the brisket, the pulled pork, and pork ribs. The brisket and ribs were both flavorful. The pulled pork was a little too dry. The sides (roasted corn and Mac and Cheese) were both good..! Service was good for as busy as it was on a Saturday night. This place is huge in size. They even have two different outside areas.

Service and staff were wonderful. No complaints. The food is terrible. The appetizer "rolls" were given to me seconds after I ordered them. I was suprised. The waiter stated they have them "ready." Since they're so popular. I could tell they had been sitting. Very greasy. It's just not good BBQ. The beef rib was stringy and it's wasn't brisket actually, it was pot roast but I guess to each their own. There is better BBQ in Phoenix. This food has been prepared waaaayy ahead of time and most of it is packaged. Perhaps it once was a great place. but it's not anymore. Hard pass

My husband and I were in Arizona on Vacation and found Bobby Q, BBQ online. Thankfully we did. Food was delicious the Q rolls are a must try. Crispy outside and juicy brisket inside. We also had the back ribs with mashed, and steak, with the works baked potato. The service was great, waiter Parker was awesome, the manger even stopped by our table to see how things were. From the time we sat down ordered drinks, food, food arrived and finished eating it had only been 50min. We were absolutely astonished. However, with how tasty the food was, it wouldn't have mattered If we were there for 1.5 hours. A must try if your in Arizona. We tried the origjnal location on 27th Ave in Phoenix.

I spent 4 hours in Phoenix after visiting the Grand Canyon and tried this place after searching Yelp. I thought the food was just ok. Enjoyed the complimentary corn bread was definitely good. We ordered wings for the table, then the sausage platter i believe it was called with 2 sides mac and cheese and fries and the ribs with same sides. Sausage taste great, fries were what youd expect but I was not a fan of the mac n cheese. It tasted like velveeta was the paid actor not my favorite. Service was pretty good, everyone we encountered were really nice, no complaints there. Overall i thought the experience was ok.

The food was amazing. Our server was wonderful! There were 8 of us. I had the Q-roll, Brisket over Mac & Cheese. My neighbor had the 3 plate plater with Chicken, Ribs & sausage.

Bobby Q's was the perfect place to meet some friends that were in town. I'm so glad I made a reservation for Friday night. It's a huge restaurant with a huge parking lot, but it was PACKED!!!! We started off with the Q rolls which were absolutely delicious! The two dipping sauces paired well and the crispy rolls were stuffed with brisket. The 2 meat combo was huge!!! I took home another full meal!! The pulled pork and sausages were both delicious. The sausages didn't have the biggest kick but were still flavorful. The Mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy - just like you would want! Overall, the food was delicious and portions were huge. You also get to start with complimentary cornbread and get to end the meal with complimentary donuts - both unpictured because they were devoured so quickly. Will definitely be back!!

The beef ribs were good but the pork ribs are the best ! Service was great. We got a pink pig cocktail forgot the name but WOW delicious, a must try. Sides of Mac , mashed potatoes and beans were ok. It was good, will be coming back.

It's a beautiful upscale casual bbq spot with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of locals suggested this place. We made reservations for a weekday because you just never know in Phoenix. The servers were very friendly and timely. We started with the Q rolls and they were definitely everyone's favorite. My daughter order the spicy jalapeño margarita and it was really good! They bring you complementary cornbread to start. We had everything from the potato to the 3 meat plate with all sides and I'll tell you the only reason for 4 stars is that my brisket sandwich was dry. We all took home leftovers bc it's just a lot of food. I would make this a regular place when I'm in Phoenix. And I'll even try the brisket again just to be sure bc I know they can do better.

Hadn't been here in YEARS, it was a nice reunion. Brought my mom and we threw down. I was being good and passed on dessert but next time I will try the bread pudding. Do you still have dancing/dj on Friday nights?

A local family friend told us about this restaurant and how good the old fashioned is. We had to try! We visited on New Years Day 2024 around 4:00pm, happy hour! I did make a reservation online via yelp, but it wasn't needed as there wasn't a wait, but I love having that option. Their happy hour runs from 3-5pm throughout the restaurant and is extended from 5-6pm on the patio and bar area. We opted for inside regular seating since we were dining with our 3 and 1 year old kids. Lots of indoor seating, both tables/chairs and booths. There were 5 adults and 2 kids in our group. Our waitress, Alyssa, was amazing! We ordered all food and drinks off the happy hour menu! Everything came out hot, drinks were great and Alyssa made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the complimentary corn bread and after your meal, they give you a brown paper bag of mini donuts, which were covered in sugar, extra warm and delicious! We will totally return again!

The Q-Rolls need a post all of their own! Bobby Q's is a great restaurant with real quality food. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable on the menu items. The ambiance is very relaxing and elegant. One of the best in the valley!

First visit to Bobby Q. First impression of restaurant, hidden gem. Friendly hostess, had a reservation and got seated immediately next to the kitchen where I can actually see what's happening behind those doors and the rotisserie oven in front of my table. Ordered our drinks, Bloody Mary was missing the best part, bacon! My MaiTai was way too sweet and didn't taste the rum. Crispy chicken sandwich was soggy, not crispy at all. The BBQ combo's were great, a lot of food for the price. I'd come back again.
