My husband and I got engaged in Hawaii, and we wanted to include that somehow into our wedding. So we found and tried Bobby's Hawaiian restaurant, and from our first visit, we knew that this was the place we wanted to cater our wedding! The food is 10/10, so delicious!! We worked with the manager, Chantal, who is so friendly and is very good with her communication! They delivered to our wedding up North, and were on time! We served spam musubi as an appetizer, pulled pork, rice, mac salad, and 2 types of chicken. Our guest still mention how good the food is when we see them! We would highly recommend this restaurant for any meal or event! Thank you so much for being apart of our special day!

Google
Great atmosphere the music was nice, the service was a 10/10 made sure our food was great everything tasted amazing it was worth the wait. I love my spam musubi I've tried to find it at hmart and I just love it here the macaroni salad was so creamy and the noodles cooked perfectly you can feel the passion put into the dishes, definitely will be back to try more options!!

I had been hearing so much about this place when I found myself up north I had to stop in. Now, I can’t wait to go back! The cakes were absolute perfection, it’s probably a good thing I don’t live closer. I had the loco moco because I had been craving it and it definitely hit the spot, the graving was delicious! Really friendly service, great place for families or friends who love good food. If you haven’t had Hawaiian food yet skip the chains and come here!

Loved the greet you get when you walk in and leave. So amazing hearing that friendly Hawaiian greetings. I'm not sure how i tumbled through this restaurant but i think i was in the area and did a quick google search and saw it was new and a photo of a grand opening on one of my other Google reviewers so thank you for that. I did order to pick up and selected pretty popular dishes on their menu. Which was the Mochi Chicken Bowl which is tender marinated chicken on fluffy rice. Nothing too complex but it was really good! I also decided to try a Hawaiian Pineapple sun Juice which not sure if its a Hawaiian only beverage but tbh i wasn't a fan of the flavor. I really do enjoy pineapple too even on my pizza lol but the juice wasn't for me. I would definitely go again and try other items on the menu for sure but my experience was good .

Google
Summary: Delicious, filling plates, good prices, friendly staff, and a unique ambiance make this tucked away Hawaiian restaurant a must. Come early because they tend to run out of food later in the day! Ambiance/Service: Very much Hawaiian themed with both the decor and the music, lots of pictures from when Guy Fieri stopped in, which was really cool to see. The wait staff was super friendly! You get seated, decide what you want, then order and pay for your food at the register. Food was out quickly and we were taken care of throughout our meal. Food: We arrived at around 7pm for dinner, and a lot of the food they had prepared for the day was already out. Luckily they still had kalua pork so that's what we got, and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, super flavorful with rice and Mac salad on the side. I topped it off with their teriyaki sauce which was so good one person in our party threatened to drink it straight. Portions were big and a couple people in our party asked for boxes to go, and the plate was only around $14. You can also get combo plates that have 2 entrees for around $20. Definitely want to come back someday for their fried tuna and fried rice!

Had a son and mommy date here for lunch. We got the kalbi ribs plate, spam and eggs plate, ohana fried rice, and spam musibi. They never disappoint. I like to order my kalbi on the well side so the sauce and fat gets charred. Sooo good!

While we were making a Hawaiian road trip down to the States, we stopped by Bobby's Hawaiian Style restaurant. It's rather large inside but also dark in some areas. They have Hawaiian style music playing in the background and they put out an aloha vibe. If you're dining in, they'll seat you at a table and then you go up to the counter to place your order. We wanted to try a bit of everything so we got Bobby's Hawaiian plate $35.95 plus $3.95 to upgrade to spam fried rice (I kind of hoped it would have more spam in the rice). The plate included pork lau lau encased in tender taro leaves, an ample amount of kalua pork, ahi poke, chicken long rice noodle soup, mac salad, and poi. The kalua pork was a bit on the dry side but went well with the thickish poi. It's a big plate and filled both of us up.

We came in during an evening after our day trip. We ordered a Bobby special which comes with several items, as well as the moco loco with 2 eggs, and 1 pound kalua pork. With the Bobby special they did allow us to substitute the laulau for mochiko chicken, When we receive the items the mochiko chicken was nowhere to be found the extra side of kalua pork that we ordered was also nowhere to be found. When we got home and discovered that the order was missing items I contacted the restaurant, it went straight to voicemail even though they were not closed yet at 5:47 p.m. They did not call me back even though I left a voicemail. I called again the next morning to let them know that there was an air within the ordering and that they can refund us the difference for the items that were missed instead of them doing so she said that she would write down my husbands name since he had ordered the food, and they'll see what they can do. Although we have these difficulties with our order, the food was very tasty, And the employees that were working seemed happy to have patrons. When I spoke to the staff member who had taken our order originally she was very sincere and apologetic about missing those items so I am willing to let them to make it right the next time we visit We also went next door to the sweet shop to order the guava cake, got candy, and some shaved ice. It was certainly nostalgic for us given that there are not many family owned sweets and candy shops around in more value this place very much and we will definitely be giving it a second shot! *****Update***** Gave it a second shot! Food was still pretty good. The photos are from the second visit period period although I was extremely disappointed to learn that the sweet shot next door has officially cloand that Bobby has significantly raised as prices. For not that much food. I spent upward of a $150. Beef teriyaki combo and super locomoco 2 things of lumpia 2 pieces of guava cake, which I couldn't even get a free slice even though it was my birthday 😒 I have a strong inkling this restaurant won't be around for long since we were the only one's dining in on a busy Friday... IMO It's really getting harder and harder to support family businesses. Because although these businesses are struggling, the heightened prices for not that much food. Definitely discourages people from visiting The restaurants that kept their prices the same after the pandemic. Are the restaurants that raise their prices are the ones that are struggling, sadly..

Yelp
My family and I were looking for dinner nearby after our stop at Floor & Decor. We decided on Hawaiian fare at Bobby's and ordered the mochiko chicken, kalua pork and teri chicken, which were all good. My daughter loves fried rice and ordered the spam fried rice. We were a little surprised and disappointed that the dish lacked flavor and spam. Service was attentive. Order at the counter, food gets delivered to your table and we were constantly checked on.

Yelp
I gotta say, I read reviews for this place and it seemed like it would be a total win. However, it was a bit underwhelming for me. The inside is interesting. No windows, lots of flags. I want to mention that the workers were all very kind and I had no problems with service. Even though we ordered at the counter, they checked in at our table multiple times. Unfortunately, the food fell flat. The Mochiko chicken was flavorless and served with a sweet chili sauce that tasted just like the kind I have from the grocery store. I thought Mochiko chicken was supposed to be flavorful on its own, even without a sauce. Also the portion was kinda small for the price. The Kahlua pork bowl had pork, but also what tasted like loco Moco gravy... which was a good gravy, but not what we really wanted on top of Kahlua pork. When we saw that it came with "gravy" for the bowl description on the menu, I was thinking it would taste something more like the pork itself. Also, it was heavy on the rice. Lastly, the guava cake had a nice soft airy texture... but not enough guava flavor. It is huge, but mostly air. We didn't order it to-go, but it came in a to-go container rather than on a plate. I felt it was overpriced at almost $10 per slice. Overall, my experience was just alright. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't need to return.

Yelp
Ordered delivery through DoorDash so I can't comment on the ambiance or service. However the food was ready quickly and got to my door still hot and fresh to enjoy for lunch. The moco loco lunch bowl is PHENOMENAL. I love that you can choose how you'd like your egg for a little bit of customization. I ordered it over easy which was perfect for the dish. The hamburger patty was cooked well and there was plenty of rice. Super filling and a perfect size and price for lunch. I also ordered a size of mac salad which was packed to the brim. It tasted fresh and was seasoned well. Can't wait to try more from Bobby's!

Yelp
Bobby's is my go-to for Hawaiian-style kalbi - their marinade is delicious. Mochiko chicken and lumpia are pretty good as well. The ambiance is casual dining and the staff are very friendly.

Yelp
I'm always happy to find a new solid lunch spot, and Bobby's fits the bill! I was seated immediately & told to order from the register. I got the Supah Loco Moco and was definitely impressed by the presentation & how hot it was served. The only things that would prevent me from coming regularly are price ($32 with tip) & ordering from the register. If I'm tipping I think the server should come to the table. Everything else was great!

Yelp
Go-to for a Hawaiian style experience. The Poke is my favorite. Chicken katsu with gravy, loco moto, they have a good menu. Nice people, easy parking and Eddie would go.

Yelp
Mochi chicken and teriyaki beef was awesome and personally, the serving was large! Shout out to Brandi for the amazing service and warm welcome! Place looks and feel cozy, too!

Yelp
This place is alright. Maybe my taste in Hawaiian food is spoiled because I lived on the Islands for 5 years. I ordered the Lau Lau and it was pretty good. My homie ordered the combination plate and the Teri chicken was lacking in flavor. The portions aren't anything to write home about and the food was decent. My main gripe is that the restaurant is dark inside; for a restaurant that's supposed to represent the Hawaiian islands, it's pretty dark and gloomy, which made lunch kind of awkward since it was quiet when we went (Maybe play some J. Boog or some island songs, a little bit of ambiance wouldn't hurt). Overall the experience was mid to me, I would just go to Kona Kitchen next time if I had the chance.

Yelp
SKIP. This place ain't it. They won't give you what you ordered even if you show them the itemized receipt after you drove the food home AND back to get their mistake corrected. I spent $70 on take out served in DIPPING SAUCE CONTAINERS amounting to hardly anything. Bad business = bad review. Eat somewhere else! (Chantilly cake was good though ngl but still too expensive)

Yelp
I had a Togo order of Hawaiian plate around $35 before taxes. The whole portion is large enough for two. The poke was out, so I have it substituted with Kalbi instead. I like everything in the set. Value 5/5 Taste 5/5

Yelp
Always delicious Hawaiian cuisine by Bobby. I don't remember Gaugee last time we dined here. They were delicious. You can add Gaugee into your Island plate as well. We also tried their new item: chicken skin. Wonderfully crispy but a wee bit salty. Overall, it was a wonderful lunch experience.

Yelp
Food was good, would very much recommend the Bento plate among the things the table ordered.

Yelp
Very solid spot for Hawaiian food in the north end. This is definitely my favorite spot for Hawaiian food in the Greater Seattle area. I got Bobby's Hawaiian Plate which came with very big portions, probably would be a good idea to split between two people. My favorite of the meats given was the kalua pork and the laulau, both were fresh and tasty. The Mac salad is also really good which is always a plus. This spot definitely reminded me of the food I tried when I visited Hawaii earlier this year.

Yelp
Might not be great for my wallet (or waistline) but I'm excited that this place is in my neck of the woods. Some friends and I stopped by for dinner and ordered a smattering of things to taste the menu, including mochiko chicken, ahi poke, fried ahi, musubi, and chicken long rice. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. I mentioned this place to my mom a few days later and she asked if we could go, so I was back again. She wanted to try the fried ahi, and I went for the supah loco moco plate with a side of poke. There is a bit of a wait for your food, but the super friendly staff and delicious food make it worth it. Promise!

Yelp
Bobby's took care of our Manoa 9U team this week with awesome Mochiko Chicken Bowls. The team wants to come back while we are up here !

Yelp
I love Bobby's! The food is delicious, and I always think of my dad when I'm there. I usually get the supah loco moco, but I've tried just about everything on the menu, and I'd recommend all of it!

If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian food in the Seattle area, it doesn't get better than Bobby's!

Yelp
We came here for lunch during a visit to Lynnwood. It's hidden away in an unassuming plaza near a busy intersection. We came here at 11:30am on a Saturday and the restaurant was mostly empty. There were some booth tables, some normal tables, and a larger space to the side for more tables and larger parties. We noticed that some of the tables were reserved so if you want to come here for a special occasion you can reserve a table ahead of time. For dine-in, we were seated at a table and when we were ready we ordered at the counter. Note that they have a cash discount that removes the 4% merchant fee they charge for card purchases. We ordered the combination plate ($17.25) with mochiko chicken and kalua pork, and we also ordered a side of the teriyaki chicken ($8). The mochiko chicken was light but not super flavorful. The sweet chili dipping sauce helped but I thought the chicken could've been saltier. The kalua pork was very tender and juicy. The plate came with mac salad which was really refreshing to cut through the fatty meats and was not sweet or too saucy. I wish the meat portions were a bit larger though. The teriyaki chicken was super tender as they use chicken thighs; this was our favorite by far followed by the kalua pork and then the mochiko chicken. Our order took about 30 minutes to come out which was a little longer than we would've liked, but fortunately we weren't too hangry. The staff was very friendly and one of the servers gave us her recommendations of different meats when we were indecisive. Overall our meal was good and left us satisfied.

Yelp
This Hawaiian style restaurant serves incredible food. I ordered the Kalbi-Korean Short Ribs Plate ,with rice and macaroni salad. The short ribs were exceptional, I will definitely order from this restaurant again.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived til the moment we left we were treated well. This place is a drive for us, but we wanted to check it out to compare it to the chain L&L (IYKYK). And we've heard good things about it so decided to try it out. This is by far the best Hawaiian restaurant I've ever gone to! Not only is the food phenomenal but the staff is amazing! We were in awe as we took our first bite! I can't say enough about my experience, walking in we were greeted right away with smiling faces, then the food came and the environment was cozy and comfortable. I plan on coming back soon. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GO HERE! Thanks again for the excellent service and the fantastic food!

Yelp
LOVED our experience and meal here. After hearing and seeing so many reviews of this place, we had to come try it out. It is on the expensive side, but we decided to splurge! The meals are well worth the money and had leftovers to bring home. Everything was so delicious and our friends who are originally from HI has nothing but raving reviews about the food. I personally appreciated the attention to my kids and they were offered stickers! So fun. We will be back for sure especially since it's so close by!

Yelp
I only heard about this place through Guy Fieri's show, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I stopped in here for lunch during my drive down to Seattle. It would seem that they were a bit understaffed or currently a pretty small operation. First I checked in with the person at the cash register. She asked if I was dining in. Since I was, she gave me a menu and seated me at a table. She told me to return to the register once I was ready to order. Unlike the usual dine-in routine, I paid for my food at the time my order was placed. I ordered their supah loco moco and a pass-o-guava nectar Hawaiian Sun drink. The food was excellent, pretty much on par with what I can get when I visit one of the Hawaiian islands.

Yelp
Located down the street from us, somehow we hadn't checked out Bobby's yet. The bar for Hawaiian food was set pretty low as most restaurants in WA for Hawaiian did NOT impress us ever. Bobbys would change that; + Every single different type of food on our plates was fresh and cooked damn near to perfection. + The atmosphere was chill with Polynesian decor and island music - You have to go order yourself and pay up front (a little weird but whatever) We went for the donuts as well but they said they have to get licensed to make them regularly :(
google avatar

Yelp
If I reviewed just the food, I'd probably give it a 4, but there's such an immediate good vibe the second you walk in, I had to say 5 stars. -My husband got the musubi, he said it was just ok. -He also got Mochiko chicken which was great -The standout was the kalbi (korean short rib.) My husband makes THE BEST kalbi, and restaurant kalbi is always disappointing. This was the best we've had outside of homemade in a very long time! Perfect char, good cut of meat. The marinade was a *touch* on the sweet side, but still excellent. Everyone was friendly, and it was a super fast lunch option. It's very cute inside and the whole experience (music, etc) just put me in a good mood!

Mary L.

Yelp
Unhappy! SMH My coworkers and I decided to get a takeout from this restaurant based off my supervisor's recommendation. It was totally hyped up for that was how good he remembered the place was. I ordered Loco Moco Hamburger Patty and the food was salty. The patties were way too overdone (no option on the online ordering system how you would like your patties cooked), hard and dry and super salty as if the chef dropped the lid of the salt's container unto my patties. So unhappy with that. That was only once and that is all what it took for me. Never again.
google avatar

Kelli H.

Yelp
Unpretentious exterior, greeted with friendly service! We ate inside, the server mentioned the food was served in take out boxes, which was fine with us. You order at the register, and they had a slew of Hawaiian snacks, li hing mui powder and goodies for sale too. Standard Hawaiian fare - I ordered the combination ~$15 with the mochiko chicken, katsu, came with a layer of rice & mac salad. The mac salad was on the bland side, but the chicken and katsu were crispy. The teri burger came with slices of teri and fries on the side. The server was thoughtful, she came to check in with our food - and noticed she moved the heater closer to us, as it was a little chilly inside. Would come back to support if I was in the area with a hankering for Hawaiian grub.

Yelp
I ordered bbq beef and 3 orders of gau gee ... the bbq beef was not bad the meat was tender enough since the beef cut was from the ribeye ... the Mac salad was very sad .. no flavor only had mayo .. the one thing that I came for was the gau gee ... big time disappointment... maybe this place caters to white customers.. from a local person that was born and raised in Hawaii ... it was a huge disappointment... especially when it took me 45 minutes to drive there and another 45 minutes to drive home ... the one star was me just being nice

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this place for years. Being from Hawaii, I had to make the trek from Seattle for the Hawaiian plate and DAAAAANG was it worth it. I starved all day so that I could tackle that beast on its own and it was like I stepped back onto the islands during Merrie Monarch. We will 10000%%% be back.

Yelp
used to be my favorite hawaiian restaurant. now the food misses more than it hits, the prices are even more egregious, and they allow zero substitutions. they also have the audacity to have a tip screen when they make you get up from your table and go order+pay at the counter. it just feels like they're making it more difficult to want to come here. while some items come with a decent portion, they are stingy on others. like the spam musubi has such a thin slice of spam to the point that you cant even taste it between the 2 mountains of rice. really guys? spam is less than $4(retail, not wholesale/restaurant supply price) for an entire can. you charge over 5 bucks for one musubi. the 'scoop' of mac salad is a sad, deflated tablespoon that you can finish in a few bites. depending on what you order, you might not get much meat for your money either. since they refuse to make any substitutions or changes, if you want a side of rice(which is so hard and dry i dont even know how anybody eats that shit) or mac salad, its gonna cost you at least $4 on top of your already overpriced plate. 1 star because the kalua pork is still tender and flavorful. i havent had the mochiko chicken in many years, after it was so bad (dry and flavorless) last time. idk who is buying the short ribs at a whopping $43 lol. you can go have all you can eat kbbq anywhere and eat 10 pounds of short ribs at that price. anyway, i wont be back anymore. i miss what this place used to be. it was always overpriced but the food was good and worth coming for once in a while. shame they ruined it.

Yelp
Going to Bobby's is like going to aunty's house. The staff are warm and friendly. The food is delicious- you cannot go wrong with any selection. The place has lots of seating but not so close. We love supporting local businesses and especially those from Hawai'i. Favorite is the fried rice and kalbi. The sauce is delicious!

Yelp
I came here with my boyfriend after watching Diners, Drive-ins, and Dive's and was surprised to see they were in Lynnwood! The atmosphere was welcoming and the servers were super friendly. Amazing food. The kalbi ribs were oh so succulent and the teriyaki chicken was mouthwateringly good. Will come back soon! #customers4life

Yelp
If you want bomb Hawaiian food this is the place, very authentic and the flavors that Jr. and his team create in the kitchen will be hard to beat. Flavors are out of control! Mahalo Bobby's!

Yelp
I went to Bobby's after a hike and it was a good friendly place to try Hawaiian food. Diving into my experience: Location (4/5): you would need to drive there to Lynwood so getting there by bus ain't the best but highly recommend going to check out the Hawaiian restaurant Food(4/5): I really liked the food. I got the slush loco moco. It was good and warm and tasted really good. I wish I had more of the gravy sauce which made the food good. The drink was good and recommend trying it as well. I would say it's good and would try other menus too. Environment/ employees (5/5): the employees were the most friendly and maybe because it wasn't too crazy but it was nice to be greeted and treated well than any restaurants I have been too. I was even offered if I wanted any sauce by the boss (I think was a manager ahaha). Def recommend coming here for good hospitality Overall, I would recommend coming here to try the food and experience Hawaiian if you are a local.

Yelp
We found this place from a tiktok and it's the best recommendation we've gotten! The food and portions are amazing and the service was super friendly ! Best Hawaiian food in the area ! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
I've never been to the original location in Everett so have no point of comparison. I came here to meet with some friends visiting who specifically wanted to go to Bobby's...and now I understand why! An extensive menu (my eyes were definitely watering) of Hawaiian comfort food definitely made me miss the island cuisine. What I especially loved was that there were portion options (for those with smaller appetites like mine), which also allows you to try more things! :) I opted for the loco moco (keiki size, which only includes one patty...and believe me this was plenty!), which was delicious. I got a side of mac salad which was good (though I would have loved some pineapple in there ;) ). Not only do they serve comfort food, but so many add ons! Hawaiian Sun drinks (so many flavors), li-hing flavored candy, and on the weekends, they have malasadas...I almost missed the sign for this! The most delicious, fresh out of the fryer UBE MALASADAS I have ever had (and yes...better than dare I say even in Hawaii). I will go back for this, and more. Not to mention the aloha vibes of the awesome staff! Mahalo, Bobby's!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered supah loco moco, Bobby's Hawaiian plate, and poi. Yummy. All the dishes including side dishes were good. Loco moco gravy was perfect with rice. However the poi was way too sour. Almost like it was expired, fresh poi from Hawaii def doesn't have as much of the sour taste.

Yelp
Mochiko chicken, with the macaroni, and a bite of rice, this combination is blissful. This food here is delicious. If you haven't been here and are looking at reviews before actually going, this is the review you've been seeking. It's good.

Yelp
I love this place. There's not many Hawaiian places around so I'm glad that this one exists. My favorite to order here is the mochiko chicken and the mac salad. The mochiko chicken is tender and juicy inside of a deliciously crispy and slightly sweet batter. It comes with a sweet (chili?) sauce that you can dip your chicken into. The mac salad is macaroni noodles mixed with a kind of mayo sauce. It's pretty plain, not seasoned with much but it's delicious paired with the mochiko chicken. I think the other dishes were okay. The teriyaki chicken is more like grilled chicken being marinated in the sauce after being cooked but it's got a nice fiery taste to it and the portions are generous. The lumpia and calamari were good appetizers. I personally wouldn't order fries here but my friends did and they enjoyed it. The musubi was a bit on the heavy side with a bit more rice than I would've liked but still yummy. I think the best part is the price. The food feeds a decent amount of people for a pretty low price in my opinion.

Yelp
This place really hits the spot if you're missing authentic Hawaiian food. I remember first trying this place several years ago, and I remember the owners of the restaurant are extremely friendly and welcoming - it really makes me miss Hawaii. I didn't think much of the food back then, but recently decided to give them a try again, because I was craving some Hawaiian food and the food has improved immensely! The Mochiko Chicken is perfectly sweetened and fried, and it's a delicious fatty and tender meat, it also comes with a side of sweet and sour sauce. I also picked up the Kalua Pork, which was really tender and juicy too (but not too flavorful, although all Kalua Pork lacks flavor in my opinion.) I got the combo, so I got to pick those 2 meats, a side salad (or a Mac salad) and a healthy serving of white rice. My boyfriend got the Mac Salad which I tried, it's very creamy but again lacks flavor. They have really great portions and it's priced pretty decently too.

Christina A.

Yelp
Place was clean and staff were friendly. The ordering process wasn't clear. You have to order at the counter and they'll give you a seat assignment. The food came out in a reasonable time. Ordered a few combo plates, musubi, and guava cake. The food was ok. Rice was super hard even in the musubi. Guava cake was really good though.

My boyfriend is from Hawaii and for his graduation we wanted to make him feel at home as much as possible. His mom catered Bobby's for us and it was some of the most delicious Hawaiian food I have ever had in Seattle. If you wanted to ask me which dish was my favorite I couldn't answer you because I loved every single one so much!! Great portions and so many great options. You really can't go wrong with this place and I really hope everyone tries this place. Order as much as you can off this menu, you won't regret it

Yelp
Bobbys Hawaiian....mmhmmm...hungry just thinking about this place! Always delivers! Can't seem to veer away from the kalbi ribs & mochico chicken. So good!! Comfort food at its finest. Always piping hot. Rice is perfect & fluffy. The macaroni salad is the tastiest around. Made the mistake of going to kona Kitchen recently. Big mistake. Kona kitchen won't do any substitutions, and teriyaki beef was tough and old. The mochico chicken was over fried and stringy. Bobbys is always a great value and yummy food. go to Bobby's you will never go wrong.

Yelp
my brother-in-law in California asked me about Bobby's Hawaiian because he'd seen it on Diners, Drive-in, and Dives, i was embarrassed to admit that i have not been back since he moved to the current Lynnwood location. so, off I went! i don't remember much at all about my first visit, other than i was not impressed by the tuna poke. this visit changed my mind. the large space is still spaced according to social distance seating. i felt very comfortable. the staff is very friendly and helpful. when realized i'd forgotten my leftover loco moco, i ran back in. my table had already been cleared! i asked the young woman at the counter if my loco moco was still available. i saw it sitting on top of the bus-cart, and she offered to make me another one. i declined, but i was very impressed by the level of service offered. mini loco moco: i love loco moco. i love Bobby's loco moco. one egg, one patty on rice and delicious gravy. the beef patty had a nice char flavor and was not dry. perfect portion for lunch but you won't walk away hungry. chicken long rice: it's listed as a "side order", but it's a full meal. it's served in a soup bowl-type take-out cup. there's enough clear soupy broth so the noodles are not too dry. there are nice chunks of chicken and a very strong presence of fresh ginger. i liked it, a lot! here's my rule of thumb: would i come back? maybe = 3, yes = 4 stars. would i bring someone with me? yes = 5 stars. time to return and try a few more things. i don't think i'll be disappointed. don't forget to bring a friend with you.

Yelp
My buddy seen in photo took me here after a wicked afternoon of Mario kart and shuffle board. I've got to say that this is the absolute best place to eat in the entire world. The ambience of the restaurant is peaceful and the place is clean. I've now found my new favorite spot. I can't wait to try more dishes. The staff were very patient and friendly and that always makes the food taste a little better in my opinion. Not pictured are the amazing candies they sell. I recommend getting several kinds of candy and you must get the gummy bears. Too bad I can only give this place 5 stars.

Yelp
Good spot for Hawaiian food. Got the mochiko chicken which came with a sweet and tangy sauce and a side of Mac salad. The chicken was good, you can definitely taste the flavor of the chicken. Good portion sizes.

Yelp
Super ono! Stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by accident while in the area. I was intrigued when I saw this restaurant was featured on Guy Fieri's diners dive ins and drives show on The Food Network. This place really lives up to the hype and all the rave reviews. It's a family owned restaurant that is serving up some of the best traditional Hawaiian dishes I've ever had. We ordered the Pork Lumpia, Spicy Ahi Musubi, Chopped Steak and Onion plate, Spam and Eggs plate, and Haupia Cake. EVERY dish was amazing. Plates come with rice and option of Mac Salad or Tossed Salad. The prices were very reasonable and the service was exceptional! All items at this time are served in to go containers. Highly recommend trying this restaurant next time you are craving Hawaiian. This restaurant is a far drive but I am definitely willing to come out this way to eat here again soon.
