Totally over priced. Never had such a small cocktail in my life Second one arrived with a block of nice almost bigger than the glass. Insane

I love the wine bar upstairs, but I have only been to bobeche twice & both times you honestly couldn't fault the service. Chris mostly looked after me & was amazing, but truly, all the staff were great. I had the Ceviche, it was delicious 🤤 & I tried a cocktail recommended by Chris (B1 Dynamite I think), it was so good. Then a classic whisky sour. The next time I had a recommended mezcal Tommy's margarita & a classic margarita. These were amazing & I was given free popcorn, which I was not expecting, but that went fantastic with the drinks lol. I absolutely love the vibe here.....I generally go out alone & this was one of those places that makes you feel super comfortable....it might just have become my favourite CBD bar 🤗

Met some people on the street who said go down the stairs and there is a bar which is nice. Well talk about a Pandora's box full of wonderful delights , wine ,spirits and food. Riley greeted us like we were family and we felt so relaxed here it was amazing. Had we not gone out for dinner beforehand would have stayed for quite a while longer. Definite gem. Not very expensive either.

Just off St George’s Terrace, downstairs next to Lafayette, we found Bobèche. It was perfect for a chill catch-up. The vibe was friendly and inviting from the moment we entered. The buzzing, happy clientele relaxing after work, friendly staff - shout out to Micky 🐭, classic soulful Frank Sinatra playing in the background & comfy leather chairs to lay back in, puts this joint into a fav zone. Highly recommend Noise Complaint? $20 & Cola de Vidrio $26 cocktails 🍹 🥃. #Bobeche

It was late in the afternoon on a Saturday in December. We had just checked into our hotel and had a few hours free before we had to be at my Christmas function. We decided to walk down St George's Terrace and have a drink or two. Not many places were open but we walked into a wine bar which we thought was open. Unfortunately they weren't opening for another hour or so. They sent us down some stairs and said the cocktail bar downstairs opens in about 10 minutes. While we were waiting, a few other people turned up and waited awkwardly with us. The decor inside is quite beautiful, and the chesterfield lounges very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt pretty chilled. Overall it was a lovely experience

Google
Excellent cocktail bar, came for the happy hour mini cocktails and loved the energy. Plenty of cocktails on the menu I was keen to try. More of a whisky specialty going on. Staff are super on it with greeting you and making you feel welcome no matter how busy The decors not the most interesting but the staff are knowledgeable and the atmosphere is great. If you’re not sure what you want then they are happy to help. It is a shame about the popcorn machine, was hoping they’d replace with nuts or something similar whilst it’s being fixed as bars with snacks are my go to. Gives a Spanish beer and tapas vibe. Happy to have this as my local

I love cocktails, and all you want is a place you can go into and you can feel relaxed. You can have great conversations about cocktails with the Bar staff and that is exactly what I had. What a great experience.. Shout out to Christoff( I hope I have spelt that right,) what a legendary Bar genius. This guy is big smiles lots of charisma, and happy to create your favourite or his favourite, and have a great conversation in the process.. This place makes it easy and fun to have a great night out. It gets a 20 out of 10 and I will definitely be returning. That is for sure Note to the boss Whatever you’re doing or whatever you’re paying these people keep it up because I saw a lot of happy people working there. 🥃🍹🤪 cheers

Sensational cocktails, highly recommend trying something different from their menu like the Rumble Wray. Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is great, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

Yelp
Oh man, I thought I wrote a review for Bobèche a long time ago, but clearly hadn't. Well where to start... Sometimes when I walk into a venue for the first time and it's very visually pleasing, the Salt n Pepa lyrics "What a man, what a man, what a mighty fine man, yes he is!" will come into my head. This happening is a sign of a truly sexy new venue. I can say with certainty that Salt n Pepa came into my head on my first visit to Bobèche. Tucked away in the basement level of the heritage building, you don't feel like you're in Perth anymore Toto. When I say this place has a 1920s Speakeasy theme, I don't mean one of the bartenders wears a newsboy cap and that's as far as they've gone with the theme. The owners must have spent a large amount of time and money on making this place the real deal! The ladies bathroom is beautiful, especially the sink which apparently the owners had sent over from the US and re-enameled - that's the dedication I'm talking about! The drinks menu is very unique and extensive, but don't expect a lot of yor standard drinks on there. I love a bar that has something different for you to try, I had the vodka fizz cocktail and it was so delicious I slurped it back like a red creaming soda. Looking forward to going back and trying the food.

Yelp
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past twelve months (twelve months for Perth, about 3 years for the rest of the world), Speakeasy is a going theme at the moment. Head underneath the Heritage building into a slightly secretive location and you'll find a sultry, grown-up bar that does Prohibition-America rather perfectly. It feels authentic. It feels like your shut away from the world and no one will know where to find you. I like it. The music is lovely 20s jazz and the dapper barmen are more attentive than a mother to her newborn. These gentlemen are also very good looking. I saw suits swigging Pinot Noir as well as rufty-tufty folk shucking oysters. It could be the new thing, but so far Bobeche draws a mixed bag of characters and I like it. It makes it feel even more like you've slipped into a scene of Boardwalk Empire. I'm calling it my Winter bar of choice. For adults only.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try out this place for ages so I was so excited when I stumbled in there at midnight with my best friend looking for a cocktail! It was a Great Gatsby themed night and everyone looked amazing and the whole atmosphere was fun and exciting. The bartenders were really nice and the cocktail list was interesting. The only issue is that the drinks were pretty expensive, but drinking from a teapot was kind of worth it. The also serve you free popcorn which I love!! My only gripe of the night was that they were playing 1920s music to go with the theme but listening to it for hours was a bit much, I was hoping for a change in pace. All in all I had heaps of fun and it was an amazing night out. I'll definitely go back.

Mike P.

Yelp
If your thing is fancy drinks served to you from a quaint teapot then this is your bar. Nestled away in a basement scattered with long brown leather couches and 1920's jazz, blues and roots music this place bleeds speakeasy. BTW they have cocktail servers and free popcorn!

Rob S.

Yelp
Favorite bar, the bar staff are great and free popcorn. Can't lose. #greatstaff #greatdrinks #betterfriends

Yelp
I know it's strange to start a review of one of Perth's swankiest cocktail dens with this, but I can't help it: these are some of the most gorgeous bathrooms I've ever been in. Bathed in white tile, gold fixtures and what could only be an exceptionally discerning eye for historical accuracy, I would have had my tipple in there had it been offered! But don't fret - the rest of the bar (and bartenders - hell-o) are gorgeous as well. From the menus to the "yes" coasters, I have no doubt that it would be far too easy to sink back into a hidden corner, enjoy the mid-afternoon tailored darkness, and sample the entire menu. Just watch your dollars - they go quite quickly here.

Alexandra P.

Yelp
Hidden under the Heritage, this underground speakeasy oozes mystery and mischief. With its dimmed lights, old school charm and jazzy tunes, I was transported back to the roaring 20's and looking for a dapper Jay Gatsby. Loved: + the old style leather couches are great for a group + tiny nooks for couples + fancy cocktails which show off the bar staffs skills and creativity as well as mastering the classics. + teacup cocktails - very Alice in Wonderland + dedication to the era in the décor - plush red drapes, gold rustic fittings, in particular the ladies bathroom! The Prohibition theme is here to stay in Perth, and I'm going to kick up my heels and retire to more sultry underground playgrounds and enjoy the crème de la crème of good customer service and beautiful drinks.

Christina P.

Yelp
This Bobeche is one of my favourite small bars in Perth. It's slinky, with wonderful Chesterfield leather sofas and chairs, dark, moody and feels like you've stepped back in time. The point of going here was at basement 131 St George's Terrace, Perth, Western Australia was where my father and mother leased some offices to run their secretarial business in the early to mid 80's. Both my brothers are here on a visit to see our mum and my sister and I live in Perth. We grew up, helping dad in the office and so where better to reminisce but at Bobeche and the Print Hall. The drinks list is great, quite pricey though and really not a lot of choices for bar food. We had the Octopus and blue cheese croquettes.

Yelp
I have been dying to try this place out since it opened so I dragged 2 girlfriends with me last weekend. They must have been wondering where in the name of cocktails was I bringing them as we decended the dark steps in what seemed to be a deserted St. Georges Terrace. As we walked through the doors I think I spotted an ounce of excitement in their eyes. There were a few costumed folk drinking away in corners, the bar staff (who were particularly handsome and quite flirtatious) were all suited and booted and food was running in and out of the kitchen. We opted for some cocktail teapots which ticked the box on the novlety factor but were a little overpriced if you consider the volume. I shall be returning maybe even costumed a little to really take adavantage.

Yelp
Come on babe, why don't we paint the town, and all that jazz... Start the car, I know a whoopee spot... Where the gin is cold and served in orange teapots... It's just a classy hall where there are corner leather couches to sprawl... And all thaaaaaaaat...jazzzzzzzz + tasty free popcorn! Parting Thought: Warm yourself up on a cold winter's night with some delicious hot buttered rum!

Lilli D.

Yelp
I've only been here once but I look forward to going back. The atmosphere and vibe is really nice. It is decorated with leather chairs and dim lights it's like going back in time. All the drinks are different and unique. The cocktails were amazing. They also have teapots there which are about $60 but they are for 4 people to share. It is definitely a place to try out!

Anita C.

Yelp
The secretive entrance, the low key ambience, attentive yet discreet staff... And a bourbon cocktail that actually tasted amazing! A new fave bar for us. Yelp
Best looking bar in the city. Love the wall painting of Bobeche. The setting is classy & grundgy at the same time. Cocktails are awesome. Just not sure about the music - 1920s stuff today! What's with the old-time music at fancy bars these days...Bar Lafayette always has 50s music - some pre rock n roll era!

Shane K.

Yelp
I do not understand what the rave reviews are about to be honest. "You feel like you're walking into a bar from Boardwalk Empire..." No, they didn't use stainless steel for their bars or have exposed air conditioning ducts. It has red curtains, leather couches and is down a flight of stairs. It's not special. The drinks were adequate but not noteworthy. I think Perth residents are just so taken back by something different than what they're used to, but this is the type of bar where you can see what they were going for, realised it cost too much, then did the really cheap version instead.

Jorden A.

Yelp
Great bartenders there with plenty of A+ banter and some crazy mixing skills. Not to mention free popcorn satisfying late night cravings!! Such a fun place

Rowan F.

Yelp
Saturday night and the place was packed. We queued for about 10 minutes but the buzz inside was well worth the wait. Free popcorn with drinks, cool speakeasy style decor and an extensive cocktail list makes this a place I'll be going back to. The only negative is that there isn't a huge selection of beers but that is what Bob's bar is for!

Kristie B.

Yelp
Such a great addition to Perth's small bar space. Styled like an underground speakeasy from the prohibition era and is dark with leather sofas. Bartenders wear aprons, which I love, and are very knowledgable. The highlight is the free popcorn...delicious!

Danielle P.

Yelp
So cozy in here love the little popcorn machine too, very hipster every bartender has a beard or mo lol but hey they make good cocktails

Johanna B.

Yelp
Tucked away below the Perth Heritage building, you take a step back in time as soon as you walk through the door. The 1920s interior is just beautiful, it sets such a great atmosphere. With its top-notch service, it is a lovely little place to enjoy some drinks, 1920s style.

Willie O.

Yelp
The food here is quite nice, little expensive and small servings. Free pop corn! Addictive. The signature cocktail is Long Island ice tea served in China cups and tea pot! All bar tenders sport beards a useless fact. This is small busy place, get noisy and squashy on Friday nights. They play the same old music each night.

Bel K.

Yelp
Cool late night speakeasy style underground (literally) bar. Wonderful smell of popcorn & snazzy bartenders with terrific beards working their craft. It's a nice Late night spot with a chilled vibe. There's tables, bar stools & cosy couches dotted around the place as well as the huge bar.

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Fantastic atmosphere. Like stepping into Parisian Nightclub in the 1920's. Creme Brûlée was beautiful. Service 5 stars.

Rosie H.

Yelp
Good quality wine, service and delicious coconut popcorn. Always the last place of the night to finish with perfection!!

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Teapot cocktails in a speakeasy themed bar with complimentary popcorn? I'm sold. You feel classier just by stepping into this 1920's themed bar hidden away in the CBD. Not surprisingly, it gets busy fairly quickly so make sure you drop in early. It's great to see more places like this popping up around Perth!

Erin H.

Yelp
Very cool, classy but chill, underground speakeasy vibe with 1920s decor and music. Loved coming here for a happy hour glass of sparkling wine for me and beer for a cute boy, munching on popcorn and flirting in the corner leather couches; great place to start a date night!

Meg C.

Yelp
Yummy teapots and cocktails. A great underground spot in the city - it's cool, it's dark, it's hip. Located underneath Heritage on St George's Terrace in the Brookfield Place complex, this delightful little spot is a great getaway from the bustling bars above.

Simone C.

Yelp
Wonderful atmosphere during a visit on Monday. Friday night gets a little too chaotic/noisy for me to properly enjoy the ambience. The coconut (i think) flavoured popcorn makes for a delicious treat that goes down way too quickly. Great service.

Mel P.

Yelp
Quiet and dark little bar / cocktail den which has a great low-key ambience. They sell teapots of alcohol, which is fun for sharing with others. A great place to have a drink if you hate going out to bright, loud, busy places.
