Classic Filipino dishes on point and reminded me of home. So nice to have found Bobi in Paris. It was a nice way to end an almost 2-week visit to the City of Light. The entire staff is amazing and my husband and I highly recommend if you’re ever in Paris! It did not disappoint and wished we found them earlier. We ordered the Lumpia, Okoy, Inihaw Na Liempo, Bicol Express and for dessert, their Mango Float. Masarap!!!

We went here for lunch on our visit to this part of Paris. A very traditional menu of Filipino classics adored by me and my family. Great styling and great to have some exposure to Asian foods in the city.

BOBI is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was packed with authentic Filipino flavors that left us wanting more. Filipino cuisine deserves more recognition, and BOBI is doing an outstanding job representing the rich, vibrant flavors of the Philippines. Their passion for their craft shines through in every dish. If you’re looking to experience Filipino food at its best, BOBI is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Food is delicious! Service is attentive! Place is small but comfortable. It hits the spot for Filipino cravings. We ordered ALL the items for lunch. Note that they have a different menu for dinner. I will come by for dinner next time. We started with Salabat and Calamasade. Both were awesome but we needed the Salabat more due to the climate shift from summer to winter quickly! We ordered: Ukoy Lumpia Kare Kare Adobo Bicol express Kinilaw Tinola Monggo Kalamay Cassava Ube Ice Cream The Ukoy is perfectly crispy. Loved it with the vinegar dip. Lumpia is best with the sweet & sour sauce. Beef Kare Kare is good and their bagoong is very good. The meat is super soft. Melts in your mouth. Chicken Adobo is a good balance of salt and sour. I’m not used to having potatoes on my adobo but it’s not bad. Bicol Express is pork and it needs more heat but the base is good. Maybe need a little more bagoong but it’s safe for general public as is. Kinilaw with raw white fish, sauce uses some pineapple juice (maybe). The sourness is mild and the addition of the cucumber for the crunchiness gives it a fresh version. Tinola and monggo are late additions to our table. We decided why not order the whole lunch menu so we can try all the dishes. Tinola is comforting. Monggo, on the other hand, tasted like the Bicol Express. It’s good but I prefer without coconut milk and more bagoong and pork. The desserts are delicious as well but more fusion than authentic. I do love the Kalamay! My daughter loved the cassava and ube ice cream. We will definitely want to try the dinner grilled items next time. Until then…

We recently visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration with a group of 16 people. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the owner's rude and unwelcoming attitude. We arrived just 10 minutes late (not 15 as the owner claims), yet the owner immediately complained about our delay. He then informed us that we had only two hours to eat, which made us feel rushed from the start. A misunderstanding occurred when we forgot to mention in advance that we were bringing a birthday cake. When we unpacked it to ask if it was okay, the owner became visibly angry but reluctantly allowed us to eat it. While we appreciated that he let us keep the cake, he kept returning to our table to complain about it—three times! His constant nagging made it impossible to fully enjoy our meal and the celebration. On a positive note, the food itself was good. However, the owner's behavior made the experience unpleasant, especially for a group gathering. If you're planning a special occasion with many people, I would strongly advise against this place. The owner does not seem to appreciate his guests and creates a stressful atmosphere rather than a welcoming one. And also..The owner writes back to every customer of the reviews that complains about the unwelcoming and angry staff without any sympathy for the customer.

We got the Ukoy, Kare Kare, Bicol express, and Calamansade drink. The Ukoy was fried to perfection, crispy and not greasy. Goes well with the vinegar sauce. The Kare Kare was interesting – savoury and peanuty. The aubergine was sooo tender and soaked up all the sauce. The Bicol express was our favourite out of all the dishes as it was comforting and came with a bit of heat. The dishes were all very flavourful so highly recommended to pair it with rice. The calamansade drink was lightly sweet and sour, perfect for cutting through the intense flavours from the dishes. It’s a cosy restaurant where you will be elbow to elbow with your neighbours. Service was a little slow was there was only a staff waiting all 13 tables. That said, service was friendly and the food came promptly. Reservations highly recommended.

Yelp
BoBi is still here, and better than ever. We made a conscious effort to make a reservation for Bobi, the favorite meal of ours when we were last in Paris. We were staying at a different part of Paris this time, but was still able to take a leisurely walk to Bobi for our 7 pm reservation (which is pretty early for dinner by Parisian standards). They open for dinner at exactly 7 pm, and that's when they invited us in, letting us choose our table. The place seemed the same, with a different young Frenchwoman manning the bar and front of office (as well as waitressing) and two chefs creating in the open kitchen. We knew what we wanted, which was the Kamayan plate for two (47€). They have both Red Horse and San Miguel in bottles, so we ordered one bottle of Red Horse, a dark ale with a pretty high alcohol content (higher in the Philipines, I'm sure). The Kamayan came soon after, and it was the right amount of food for the two of us, prepared AND presented so well. We were given wooden fork and spoons, though I did try to use my fingertips to eat the steamed rice. The feast consisted of: Vegetables: - White rice. All meats go better with Jasmine rice. - pickled cabbage - took the place of achara. prefer achara. - sauteed eggplant - nope. a non-starter for me. - green beans - good, perhaps a bit overcooked. Green beans made a very good side dish, served plain. Proteins: - Inasal - roasted chicken drumsticks. nice char on the outside, with juiciness on the inside. Really couldn't taste the lemon grass and ginger, but the meat itself was very tender. - BBQ sticks - chicken skewers. Excellent. - Inihaw na Liempo - laquored pork belly grilled over charcoal. This was the best protein and a must eat here. - Garlic shrimp - head-on shrimp, Made for a great presentation, but not the best quality. App: - deep fried cheese stick. good...wish there was more of it. It comes with 4 dipping sauces: sweet and sour, infused vinegar, calamansi with soy sauce, and garlic sauce. I liked the infused vinegar the best. We finished off our meal with two shareable desserts: Mango Float (7€) which is more like a parfait than a float...not too many pieces of mango and the whipped cream could have been better. Ube Ice cream (7€) : home made and it tasted like it. delicious. Service was great throughout, and our hostess spoke enough English to make that the language of communication. We were done in under an hour.

Yelp
Very good and tasty Filipino food. A great place to go if hankering for Filipino food in Paris. Wait staff is excellent. Really enjoyed the chicken inihaw skewers and the chicken adobo.

Yelp
Sooo good!! 5/5 My cousin & I were visiting from the US & we're craving Filipino food/ rice lol As a Filipino myself, I've eaten at plenty of Filipino restaurants so I know a thing or two about good Filipino food & this place did not disappoint! I didn't expect much since we were in Paris, but my cousin & I were surprised at how delicious this place was! We ended up coming here 3x during our 6 day stay (so that says a lot). I highly rec the ookoy, chicken tinola, chicken skewers, & kare Kare. Everything was 10/10!! We ended up visiting the sister coffee cafe, as well and it was also very good! This place is solid if you're craving delicious Filipino food. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Was looking for home-cooked dinner in Paris and happened to be near the Bobigny area. This is one of the best Philippine cuisine I've had outside of Manila. They have most of the popular dishes, but the Chicken Inasal and the Bicol Express is top-notch. It gets pretty crowded though. While we got in early, within an hour it was packed. The service is great and friendly. Looking forward to visit again when in Paris!

Yelp
Cute spot with great food. Friendly staff. This place opened in 2019. Nearby on rue de Malte is Kape Caffe Philippin.

Yelp
If I had to define the essence of Bobi, I would say that it pays homage to traditional filipino fare, with a nod to the best ingredients and a strict focus on flavor. What I love about the place is the unassuming atmosphere from the menu, up to the ambiance. Traditional filipino fare has always been a tough sell in foreign countries, but what I love is that the owners have chosen to be bold and try. And they do it with a smile. We came in for dinner for two on a Thursday, we did reserve, but there was plenty of seating available and would have probably not waited long even if we had not. We started with the lumpia and a sweet and sour sauce. It was cooked well, the taste amazing. Some places overcook one, maybe two pieces, but as I said there was a precision here and a focus on flavor that i found surprising. We also had the BBQ Chicken on a stick which was practical, tasty, and would probably have ordered more if I didn't want to try everything on the menu. Be sure to try a calamansarum drink or any of the others as these are actually unique and flavorful. For our mains I must admit we got carried away and ordered the inihaw na liempo, tinola, adobo, and kare kare. To start the inihaw liempo was cooked well, not greasy at all, and comes with a vinegar dip. What most filipinos think of liempo is the fatty chunk of pork that you can drink beers to and while the night away in idle conversation. The dish itself fits the profile, offering the same flavors without the grease. What I would have liked here is perhaps a spicier dip option to add a little heat. Onto the tinola which was a welcome dish as the temperature outside was 50 degrees. The soup was well seasoned, savory with every spoonful, perhaps a serving spoon for the soup as a recommendation, but honestly after eating all the yummy chicken I found myself just drinking the soup straight up. The adobo here was chicken, me personally I love pork adobo, the mix was well seasoned leaning more toward sour with the vinegar instead of sweet as I am accustomed to. Adobo is the kind of dish that you can make in many ways, perhaps I'd like to see an adobo pork in the future maybe. The kare kare was superb, definitely above par than the hundreds of places I have tried. Its was a nice touch with the shrimp paste to really complete the picture. For dessert we had the mango float, it was simple, fresh mango chunks set in cream, not overly sweet and a great end to a great meal. For the many filipinos out there, eating at Bobi will be like coming home, come try this place if you're in town, it will not disappoint. If you have read this far then I thank you for your consideration.

Yelp
Filipino food in Paris was awesome. Just what I needed . Service was very good. They accommodated our family so we didn't have to wait too long for a table. Then the food came out quick and fast. The place is busy and loud. It was hard to hear my husband.

Yelp
Fantastic spot for Filipino food in Paris. I stopped by this gem when I was walking around in the area. When you walk in, it is very vibrant with color and good vibes! I had the lunch special with the adobo, cheese-sticks and the dessert. I had a rum and calamansi cocktail to wash it down. Everything was delicious and reminded me of home cooked meals when I was younger. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area or craving Filipino food.

Yelp
BoBI was a lovely surprise! Everything was well seasoned, filled with flavor and the service was above and beyond! The Adobo chicken stew was my favorite. It's a perfect, affordable option for a chill dinner in a cute area! Highly recommend a stop when in SoMa!

Yelp
Very nice staff. They remember their guests. I first came here in 2020 and came back in 2021 and they remembered me and I was surprised. Will come back to paris this year and will definitely go back to BoBi.

Jacelyn C.

Yelp
This was nice surprise during my last visit to Paris. The La Marais is known to have some good food places and its nice to have Filipino food present in this area. I tried the pork sinigang with rice and calamansi juice. The portions were perfect and the sour soup just hit the spot since it was cold the day we tried the place. Hopefully they thrive so that non-Filipinos can enjoy a taste of Pinoy food in Paris!

Yelp
Visiting from NYC and we are SO happy we went to BoBi for lunch! The restaurant is beautiful and extremely clean for both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is authentic Filipino that is both flavorful and healthy. The staff was extremely helpful with ordering - the lunch special is the perfect amount of food and a great deal. We are excited to go back for their Sunday brunch. Thank you BoBi!
