Truly terrible, hostile customer service and fish that will send you to the hospital during your vacation.
We came here for lunch after reading the positive reviews. However, the experience at Bobo was abysmal. Here is why:
1. We ordered the Ceasar salad and salmon tartare/quinoa salad; after one bite I realized that the salmon tartare was not fresh and smelled off putting; my survival instinct told me to stop eating it or risk food poisoning. When I brought this to the server's (Maddie) attention, she got visibly angry and said "salmon is fresh. You will still pay for it. I can order something additional for you."
I would understand that if I had eaten the whole dish, then brought the issue to her attention, then maybe her reaction would be more normal.
I worked as a server for about 8 years (through college and grad school) and there was an obvious solution for her to notify the chef, replace the meal, and that would be simple.
2. After we brought the issue to another worker's attention, they eventually took the bad fish off the bill and when she dropped off the check, she said in the most hostile tone: "we took the fish off, now pay the rest and GO!"
In short, if you're looking for a positive, and sanitary dining experience, please keep looking!
