Compliments to the chef! Very good pizza at a very reasonable price and close to the beach. You can get full pizza or by slice. Crust on the pizza is just unbelievable. Slices size is really solid.

New Yorker here and the pizza passes the NY Test! 🍕the pizza fit the NY mold perfectly just the right fold and thinness, not to thick and not to thin. We definitely will come back for family pizza night if we are out that way!

The pizza was AMAZING! We were also very surprised that each slice order came with two! We all had thought this was wrong, no way, but yes - it was true. You get two slices and both filling. The first thing I thought about after taking my first bite was, Dave Portnoy has to check it out! Given his rating system and explanation of his ideal pizza, I truly believe this would be a high rating! 8.3?! Will come again

Bob’s Pizzeria is a gem for anyone craving classic Boston-style pizza. The pizza was delicious—thin but not too thin, with just the right balance of crunch and chew. My only gripe, which isn’t Bob’s fault, is the persistent presence of birds while eating outdoors—a common challenge on the island. Amazing pizzeria! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Prices are also affordable and slices/pies are huge. The crust is light and crispy — loved it! There is a great variety and they are very quick compared to many other places not only in Hawaii but across the US. The cherry on top was there’s a lot of parking, which is a common challenge in the island.

This is fantastic real thin crust pizza. Buyer beware that a “slice” is 1/4 of a pie so come hungry! We had the sausage pepperoni and the garlic spinach tomato and both were terrific. The red sauce is lightly sweet like New York pizza sauce and the crust is wonderfully soft with a great crunch, just like it should be. They have a nice covered outdoor seating area.

Insanely good portions and the best bite after the beach. Pair it with shaved ice at the shop next door and you’re golden!

So my other half is really into pizza places, and so we like to occasionally go try other pizza locales, and this was one where his family enjoys every once in a while. In my taste it was pretty okay. With an outside area to eat. But other than that, to each their own in terms of judgement. ^_^ Happy pizza hunting. :)

Portion is perfect. I thought I'd grab x2 slices on the drive here. Then I saw what the size of the single slice!! A must try if you like thin

I have a friend who recommended this place and the recommendation did not disappoint The garlic, spinach and pepperoni pizza was amazing . It came out of the brick oven piping hot smelled so good. I'm craving pizza. I will definitely go back. !

Good pizza. We tried two kinds and both were tasty. Personnel were friendly. Carry-out was ready when they said it would be. Very convenient when you are at the beach

Advertises as Boston Style Pizza. Dont know what that mean. Thin crust, cheese kind of stuck to the dough like Trenton or the New England Portuguese style pizza. Tasty cheese on top. Not too saucy. At $25 a large pie, thought price was reasonable, compared to some of the pricey places for pizza like Ocean City, NJ that I have been to. Some outdoor seating. Shared parking lot for several stores so a little difficult if you are not just picking up. Island Snow, a good shave ice place right nearby.

Great pizza and very friendly staff. I've lived on the island for 4 years and visit now a few times a year. Being from the east coast I always had a hard time finding good pizza on the island. Look no further! The sauce is great. The toppings are fantastic and the cornmeal dough is perfectly crispy and thin yet doughy. Yum!

We go here every week if not with the kids with friends hanging out and going to the beach. Perfect location and the portions are double. The staff is great and easy to be in and out of you give enough time. The calzones are a must try the spinach and the sausage were both winners!

As a recent East Coast transplant (from Boston, too!), I was intrigued by Bob's byline of "Real Boston Style Pizza" because...well, I didn't think Boston was exactly known for its pizza. Anyway, Bob's pizza is delicious, and you should try it! A "slice" is actually a quarter of a 19 inch pizza (kind of like Ernesto's in the North End of Boston), and they have a variety of by-the-slice options prepared in the service window if you just want enough for a meal (rare on the island!). Pricing is done by # of toppings. Alternatively you can get 4 "slices" and fill a box up with an entire pizza, which is fun for trying out a bunch of different flavors. I tried the Bob's Special (kind of a supreme pizza), the veggie, the spinach/garlic, and the pepperoni. They were all delicious and loaded up with toppings. I appreciated how the crust was thin/crispy but had good heft and chewiness, and a nice cornmeal coating (is that the Boston part of the pizza?). I reheated a slice the next day in a cast iron pan and it was perfection. Overall, Bob's is not cheap pizza, but it is very delicious, and it does remind me of the East Coast.

Love the pizza here after spending a day at Lanikai the best. Service is ex Ellen's call and order before you go especially silly if you're hungry. Excellent Hawaiian vibe. Everytime I go to Lanikai you can bet that we will order pizza from Bobs.

It's not what I am use to in Connecticut, however it's dam good for Hawaii. They sell it by the slice for $6.95 or the whole pizza for $22.00 It was tasty and the crust was good, but I am use to a crispy crust. The only way to do this is with a brick oven that never shuts down. 800 degrees is a must.

I always drive by Bobs when I'm out in Kailua and take my doggy out for a shave ice at island snow. I finally made my way in to try the pizza out. I'm not gonna lie. Bobs pizza is better than Bostons. The crust is crispier and as soggy tasting like Bostons or that Bobs cook their pizza a little better. The pizza selection is similar to the ones that Boston have too. But the staff at Bobs is more friendly and serves me to return and try more of their pizzas and support local business!

Reminder me of Boston Pizza... like the same taste/ style. $6 and change for a spinach/ garlic slice. HUGE slice and cut into 2 "normal" sized pieces. Quick and easy.

Small establishment but very big slices! Food was absolutely incredible, and that's saying a lot because I'm picky with my pizza. If you're in Kailua area, definitely stop and grab a slice.

Bob's is the best pizza you can find in Hawaii giant slices just like the waves! Couldn't find better pizza this place is dope

Pretty decent pizza and the pizza by the slice is actually two big slices which hit the spot. The reheating process makes the cheese gooey and lose the chewiness which is sad. Toppings are plentiful and they've got good options. Crust was the star and it's highly solid. I ate free with my kayak rental and it was a helluva good deal all things considered! Would not go back unless kayaking again honestly, but the pizza wasn't bad.

The pizza is really good here! We had a lunch voucher from Kailua beach Adventures and was surprised they gave us 2 huge slices of pizza and a can of any drink we wanted. The staff was super nice and friendly. The pizza was nice and hot, crispy crust, just tasted really good! I would come back again to Bob's Pizzeria!

A very bad experience with the staff. We came here after a long stop at kalisi beach near by. The place is just an outdoor sitting and is priced on the higher side for such an arrangement. The pizza took 45min to come in, but did not stand up to the expectations for such a long wait time. The only thing that got them a 2star instead of one was a generous topping (we chose 5 topping pizza) and the fact they made the pizza fresh. They did not have water available. They demanded we buy two water bottles as we did not carry cash despite making a 33 dollar bill. The staff was very rude and was of no help whatsoever!

10/10 recommend this local spot. The prices are affordable and the food is good! Support local. Especially if they keep their prices right! Mahalo to the owner and works for great service and experience!

After having lunch at a nearby cafe, we decided to stop here for dinner take-out! Reuben knows the Owner, Bob, but unfortunately he wasn't in, but his daughters were managing the business. It was quite busy on a Saturday! They were very nice and helpful. We placed our order after a few people in front of us and within a few minutes the line was out the door! Ordering One slice is enough for 2 people!! It's huge!! When we got home, I heated the pizza in my toaster oven. Pepperoni, Mushroom and Olive was delicious and the crust was thin, crispy and made just right!! Mahalo!!

The pizza is a little expensive but always a good move if you don't wanna go to far from the beach The wings are an absolute travesty. Like others said they actually have absolutely zero flavor; we all know that half of the battle for a good wing comes from the ranch, if I were a betting man I would bet that it was Costco treasure valley ranch. The pizza size is so good for one slice! The ranch could be better. The pizza itself tasted really great would definitely come again to try their other options.

Stumbled on this place after a beach day in Kailua and it didn't disappoint! Service is great and slices are HUGE- if you're craving a slice come here! Bob's special - basically your supreme pizza. It was hot and fresh and not too salty while still being flavorful! Garlic, spinach, tomato pizza - this pizza was with their white sauce, and it was my personal fave Their garlic flavor comes through so nicely! @joangela.eats

I've been here a few times to give them a chance since the raves are quite plentiful but it's unfortunately always been a miss for me. Pizza has been dry and so so. I saw some reviews suggesting to order a fresh whole pie so that might be the difference as Ive been ordering slices.

My friend ordered a few pizzas to go. We got a cheese, pepperoni, and a sausage and pepperoni pizza. They said it would be ready in 30 min and it was ready when we came to pick it up. I like that it's a thin crust pizza and was made fresh. It had good flavor as well.

Pretty bland pizza. Got pepperoni, jalapeño, and spinach. 3 stars because the pizza is huge... but that's about it.

Best pizza on island! The sauce is exactly the way I like it--fresh and a little zesty--and the slices are huge! Also, the staff is always so friendly. I will drive an hour out of my way just to get pizza at Bob's, and while I'm willing to do that now and then, I do wish there were more locations.

This is good pizza. It's not fancy or some unique recipe. But it's consistently good pizza. Service is friendly and fast. What could be better than good pizza, on a comfortable patio. In Kailua. Go for it.

Delicious pizza! We orders Bob's special for $29 which had pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, olives and green peppers. The pieces were HUGE! Eight slices per pizza or you can get 1/4 pizza for $8. They have garden salads and severs drink options. Outside dining at tables only. Unfortunately a loud family with an obnoxious toddler were disrespectful. The cashier/female employee was super friendly.

If I show up in person and order a vegetarian pizza with extra garlic plus anchovies, I get a good though expensive ($35) large pizza. When I tried to order same online via their app and have it delivered, I was charged much more and only the garlic and anchovies showed up.

Their pizza consistently tastes great. I highly recommend trying it. On weekends and during the summer months, the restaurant tends to get very busy, so I usually order takeout in advance to avoid the wait.

Good pizza. Great pizza for those close to Da beach craving a "Slice" Basically a double slice (1/4 of a large pizza) Honestly it's a tasty thin crust pizza that has the right baked crust on the bottom with that nice chew. The reason for my lack of that fourth star is the average sauce and lack of topping to crust ratio. I ordered a 3 topping slice with extra cheese and felt they still missed the mark. There is no doubt, Bob's could be one of the best on the Island by adding more cheese that covers the entire surface of the pie. Still a good value and taste for those beach goers on the move! Bob's definitely has "good" pizza!

Love this place! Huge fresh pieces and friendly service. We split one piece of pepperoni pizza between two people and it was perfect for a post-beach snack. Cute ambiance too with outdoor seating. Would definitely come back for more!

Food: Good prices! $26.95 for a cheese and pepperoni pizza that was extra large. This size had 8 large slices of pizza. $8.95 for a cheese, ham and pepperoni calzone with generous amount of cheese and pepperoni. I could just eat half the calzone. Service: we came on a Sunday after 1:00 pm. It wasn't busy at all. You order at the counter and it look less than 15 minutes. The crust was a little crunchy and had a good flavor. Ambience: outdoor seating only. Birds around eating the crumbs on the ground. The owner had some squirt guns so you can shoot off the birds with the water

Walking distance from beach, good prices, huge slices, & friendliest employees! What's not to love! Great spot to come sit at and enjoy a slice of pizza after a day at the beach. Highly recommend!

The pizza is delicious, and the customer service was outstanding! We had a long wait, but the personal made us feel like they really cared about our order, and was trying to get it out Quickly. The cheese was very delicious it tasted like high quality mozzarella! The crust was amazing every bite was perfect. The calzones seem popular so I'm not going to take off a star for them maybe it's just me, and everything else was so good. The calzone had too much cheese, and not enough tomato sauce not sure that I really tasted any. The crust is delicious though. Maybe I just bought a not so good recipe. It has nice clean, and comfortable outside seating as long as it's not too cold, or hot. But the weather here is usually pleasant.

Service was fast and quick! Pizza tasted similar to Bostons Pizza in Aiea. Didn't really care it. I think Bostons was better? Or maybe they just had a off day! Just didn't seem like there was much taste to it but it was DRIPPING in grease.

They won't give you a box to sit outside. The birds attack your food. The condiments have to be shared amongst all the customers. I literally had to ask the table next to us to pass the cheese and pepper.. like 4x. Why can't you invest in more than 1 canister of condiments?

I am originally from Boston and let me just say they do it right here at Bobs! They are busy and always have a wait but it's worth it to me and my husband every time. I go out of my way on a Friday afternoon after work just to grab a pie before going home. The staff is working hard- leave a tip!

This place is all right. Nice service. Great amount of tables to eat at. We got there 20 min before close and had them heat up some pizzas for us. The crust is pretty good. I found myself eating at it even after I ate all my slices. Good condiments. I just think it's nothing grand or special. But there are little pizza places in Kailua so it's good for that reason!

I'm not giving it a 1 star because past experiences were better. We discovered this place a few months ago and were delighted. Today was a fiasco. Crust was hard as nails and burned. Almost no cheese at all on a slice of cheese! I was actually able to see crust clear through where there should have been tomato and cheese, that's how empty it was. They have a mesh door to open and close. A few weeks ago the door flung one of our slices off the plate and they made us buy a new slice! (One slice here = two in most other places.) You need to be careful walking in and out as it is because of the raise on the floor at the entry. So that's why the slice went flying (because my husband was making sure he didn't trip). That's two strikes. Boston's North End Pizza other side of Kailua way better.

We stumbled upon Bob's Pizza after our kayak adventure around the corner. So glad we found this little spot because it really hit the spot! Staff was fast and efficient. Each "slice" order comes with two large slices of pizza, which was enough for a light meal. The crust was perfectly in between crispy and doughy; it wasn't super oily. The pizza had a good amount of toppings on it. I would definitely come back to this pizzeria. BEWARE when sitting outside in their patio area -- those pigeons are relentless and fearless. They will straight up take your pizza if you leave it unattended and walk away!!
