Google
Beautiful park with a nice boardwalk and tower to look out over the bay. There's a really nice playground for kids with benches, picnic tables and grills for an adternoon cookout. Lots of space and wildlife to see around the ponds and mangroves. Very peaceful and quiet.

Google
It was a nice park lots of walking, but the trails weren’t super clear and you kinda had to drive in to get to the parking before you could go to the walking area and lots of bugs but that’s just because it was raining before or it was gonna also rain after

I arrived there close to dusk. The dog park has two enclosures for small and large dogs. Both enclosures are large water available. UPDATE of march 30 2025. This time, i arrived during the day. The dog park is close to the end of the park road. The dog park is well shaded and ground cover is a mixture of mulch or tree leaves which had fallen and no one bothered to pickup and some grassy area mixture different ground cover of natural growing weeds and native plants. I was bitten by several mosquitos, so this has not changed. Since i was there during the day, i could easily see the neglect this dog park receives. The shelters that are there are in a state of disrepair. Broken muddy and leaves accumulated on the broken roof shelters. The equipment there for dog training was also in neglect broken and disrepair. There was water available. But signs posted warning patrons what not to do with the water. Bella and I were the only ones there the time I visited, and we explored both the small dog and large dog enclosure, and they were pretty much the same. As I was leaving and seated in my car, someone pulled up to use the dog park and it was interesting to that this man came prepared to visit the dog park...because I noticed that he started to spray on insect repellent. He obliviously been here before. Check out my Pics

We loved the boardwalk at this park. It isn't very long, so you can get through most of it on a quick trip. Perfect for strollers or jogging. The observation tower is really nice and has 2 levels that overlook the water. There is also a dog park we have visited multiple times, but you can't take the dogs on the boardwalk. Lots of marsh, wildlife and bugs so definitely don't skip the bug spray for this park!

Google
Boca Ciega Millennium Park is a scenic, well-maintained park in Seminole, FL, offering walking trails, boardwalks through mangroves, a dog park, a playground, and an observation tower with views of Boca Ciega Bay. Ideal for birdwatching, nature walks, and peaceful outings. Rating: 4.6/5 – A beautiful, diverse park perfect for families, pets, and nature lovers.

Google
Beautiful park! Very well maintained! While there, we saw a Grandpa and his grandson walking through the lower paths picking up garbage that careless people dropped. (There are many garbage and recycle cans around! The park even supplies "doggie waste" bags.) The Grandpa said "you must learn when you're young to save our parks!" The boardwalk paths are very easy for everyone, including people pushing strollers and wheelchairs. Climbing the tower gives you an expansive view of the area. A beautiful place for all to enjoy

Google
A very nice place to spend some time with your furry kids. The dog park is very large and shaded with plenty of water stops. The park itself has many winding trails, paved and not paved, a playground, fishing and picnic areas. Overall, a great place to spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying life.

Google
By far my favorite park in Pinellas county.. starting from the entrance, it's a beautiful drive though the park, so much green to see. There's a pond near the entrance to the right, that's where I saw my first alligator when I moved down here. It's such a nice layout that you don't feel like you're on top of other people. You can do your own thing and not be bothered. There's a "tower" that's probably 2-3 stories tall that you can go up and get a beautiful sight of everything. Great nature trails, such a peaceful walk, you are close to society but all you hear is birds and nature. It's almost an out of this world experience. This is what a park SHOULD BE. You just have to see it for yourself 😁

Yelp
Beautiful Florida park on the bank of Boca Ciega Bay! Lots of boardwalk trails and beautiful views from the observation tower! It's free and you can drive in, walk in, or bike. Entrance is in Seminole Florida.

Yelp
This is actually a very nice park. There is plenty of room to just do whatever you want whether it be have a barbecue or birthday party or picnic or just go for a walk. I love how the boardwalk and trails intertwine with the surrounding nature and then open up once you get towards the lookout tower to give you great views of the surrounding landscape. I also thought that it was cool that the water sometimes flows below you as you walk on the boardwalk. You can stay on the boardwalk the entire time so your feet won't even get dirty. There are other paved and unpaved portions of the park that are away from the lookout tower where the grass is a bit more lush and you can do things like play frisbee or yoga. There are also open air bathrooms which makes it convenient in not having to look for somewhere to go outside the park. One thing I did find odd is that there are no windows on the bathroom. It's just open air so if anyone was walking by the bathroom they could look in on you dropping your number ones and number twos. It was nice to find a park though that had unimpeded access to the water and a great mix of nature so if you're trying to get fit or just relax, this is the park for you.

Yelp
Beautiful park in unincorporated Seminole. We have driven past the entrance 100s of times but decided to drive in and check it out. The road is curvy, fun to drive and lots of greenery on each side. The area is very clean and well-maintained. We found the dual-sided dog park (small dog size, large dog size). Our dog was with us so how could we deprive him of a visit. One other dog, Marble, was there playing ball with his owner. This was Diesel's first dog park visit in Florida (we live next to a walking park where he gets his daily strolls). There was some grass but mostly sandy soil and it was funny to see him experience the sand. He was a bit apprehensive and stayed close to us but was excited to be off leash. Ever notice how your dog's eggs look feral when he is exploring new things? It was a good time, Diesel met Marble and we all had fun. Next time we'll introduce him to the agility section and see how that goes.

Yelp
I have visited Boca Ciega Millennium Park twice now. If you follow me on Yelp, you probably know that I rarely encounter a park that I do not love. Boca Ciega was a great find. It has the three features that are a must for me: water, tall trees, and boardwalks. My favorite part of this park is the beautiful boardwalk that leads to a lookout tower along the water inlet. The view is incredible from the tower. The trails and boardwalks are mostly interwoven through the woods or mangroves, so there is a decent amount of shade. I have enjoyed the trails that are off boardwalk here too. There is a walking/ running trail towards the entrance of the park. It honestly is not that long though. I circled the boardwalk twice and walked from almost the end to the entrance of the park on this last visit and was only a little over 8,000 steps (a little over 3 miles). The park is a decent size, but I would honestly go elsewhere for running or putting in some miles. The trail towards the entrance passes a beautiful lake. I have seen an alligator sunbathing here. There is another small lake on the other side of the road too. There are several beautiful Southern Magnolia trees, flowers, vines, and an American Flag towards the front. The park also has plenty of picnic shelters, bathrooms, water fountains, a dog park, and a nice playground area for the kids. The bathrooms were clean on my visits. I will give a warning about Boca Ciega: bring bug spray! I rarely use bug spray and the bugs normally leave me alone. For some reason, they do not at this park. I have been stalked by a horse fly in particular twice at this park. They are persistent and relentless. The first time I was off trail in the woods...my fault. The second visit I did not deviate from the trails at all. So, they are certainly an issue. I also had some irritation around my ankles and several bumps after this second trip. Overall, I think that Boca Ciega is a nice park. It is beautiful and tranquil. However, I will make sure I bring bug spray on my next visit.

Yelp
Considerate workers and nice park! It's well maintained and has nice paved areas. I would recommend coming here :)

Yelp
Beautiful observation tower and trails, parking is free, amazing playground if you have little ones. I think there's a dog park too since we heard lots of dogs.

Yelp
Love this park, great for nature walks with my dog, quiet, well kept, and very beautiful. If you visit make sure you find the hidden boardwalk for an incredible photo opp

Yelp
There are not many interesting parks around my area, but Millennial Park does have a very pretty view! I love the wood deck pathway and walking to the giant tower to overlook the water. I only wish this particular path and view were longer. I went to the park to view the different mangrove trees to help me study for botany and environmental courses. Also, for those who love birds, I always see a neat bird or two. The park is beautiful during light, rainy days when the beach isn't an option. (Granted, we only go when there is no lightning).

Yelp
This park offers everything! Water, birds, fishing, pavilions (3), and a wonderful playground that (when the slides aren't broke) offers everything! One-of-a-kind equipment. The orb this place has is cool, and the up/down design of the main playground is unique.

Yelp
Do not go before 4 PM if you are younger and have larger breed dogs. They have already formed their little committee and will give you nasty looks and talk about you behind your back. Also Tons of mosquitoes .. but very clean

Yelp
Great place to hike your dog and visit a dog park. Lots of trails to wonder on!

Yelp
My friend drove me through this park today and I was impressed. We went to Paws Park where there is a dog run..waaay bigger than the little one on Duboce park back in S.F.!! This actually had at least a half acre to run on, fenced-in, water taps, fire hydrants and a little obstacle course. It also had benched for the owners to sit down on. There's a double fence as well so one's pets won't stray far..(there's signs on the other side of the road where the wetlands lie with gator warnings so it's probably a good thing to keep an eye on your canine friend!). I want to come back and explore the nature trails and the observation tower which looks out over Boca Ciega Bay. Parts of the park reminded me of Golden Gate Park except there was only a handful of people there. Park closes at 7:30 each night.

Yelp
Nice park if you want to ride your bike... Walk the boardwalk... Jog or have a picnic. I went for the kayak launch which should go partway thru park to the Intercoastal... To pineapple island. The kayak launch and trail could be great but is impassable and seriously overgrown by mangroves and Brazilian pepper. Invasive and not a native Fl tree. The Pinellas Co parks needs to run a backhoe thru the kayak canoe run to clear and hack back the impenetrable mangroves... And dig up the low spots. One man 2 days. But I suspect never happens. Shame... Would be a great kayak or sup launch site. I remember in my youth 4 wheeling and riding dirt bikes back here before they built the park. Must of spent a million on boardwalks and observation tower... Roads and parking another million ez. Kayak launch and trail I estimate 2 percent cost. Silly not to make it useable. Photos posted and taken Jan 2018.

Yelp
I love to take my dogs to the Paw Park here, and then walk up the boardwalk to the top of the platform and watch the sunset! Lots of great photo ops here!

Grant R.

Yelp
Great park to take little ones because of the fact they have a larger and smaller kids playground and both are covered to keep the Sun off. There's also a small nature trail just for kids (narrow and not very much height) behind the big playground. It's hard to find and nothing special for adults but small ones will feel like its just for them. There is only one picnic shelter near the playground but there are some standalone picnic tables and benches. A restroom is nearby the playground as well. On the other side of the park you will find other restrooms and access points to the boardwalk trail over the intercoastal waterway shoreline. Walk over the sand and water and see some of the birds and animals that still live on the intercoastal on this now rare, undeveloped piece of land. A 3 story lookout tower sits along the boardwalk with benches to relax and watch nature and boats passing. There is also a kayak launch and dog park here.

Yelp
LOVE the park but can't stand the ignorant people that go there. If you can't read the HUGE sign posted at every single entrance to the Boardwalk then don't go to this park! NO DOGS! NO BIKES! NO SCOOTERS! on the boardwalk. DO NOT bring your DOG on the boardwalk. PERIOD! Do not ride your BIKE on the boardwalk. PERIOD! I assume wheelchair-like motorized scooters are allowed since it appears to be wheelchair accessible but NO, your child cannot ride their scooter on the boardwalk. It's pretty simple. And to the ass-face that almost ran me over on the boardwalk while riding his bike Saturday just before sunset, do it again.... i dare you.

Yelp
Nice addition to the area. Nothing great going on there, but its a decent park and its better then having more shops or apartments there. Good place to go for your morning walks & very good doggy park!

Yelp
First visit was on a class trip with my daughter's pre-k class 3 years ago. The playground was well cared for and shaded nicely. All the parents and teachers commented on how they enjoyed the location. I've only gone back once more, to walk the trail. Very very few people were there. The trail was not as shaded as Walsingham Park's trail :(. Though, I did enjoy the dock and tower view.

Yelp
Great place to go for a BBQ or walk. Not much access to the intercoastal and really not many walking trails. Decent lookout tower. Good bird watching

Yelp
I love this park for family outings! It has a boardwalk for relaxed hikes, short nature trails for more adventurous hikes and a lot of great wildlife viewing opportunities. Also a great kayak access point. My kids love the clean and well laid out playground for after the explorations are over. Great spot!!

Yelp
Out doing some geocaching we were lead to this park. It's really nice and we ended up staying to hike some of the trails. The views are nice and we really enjoyed the boardwalks they've built so you're above nature. Lot of places for your four legged friends to enjoy here. Loved the traffic signs as they draw your attention to slow down with all different creatures trying to cross the road.

Yelp
Very nice park with many different walking trails you can take. There is a boardwalk with a lookout tower. I wish it had more signage directing to the trails and parking areas. My first time here I had to drove around the whole park to get oriented and then go back in and park and randomly lck a spot to start my walk.

Yelp
We held a Father's Day picnic for 26 people on June 15th, 2014. We rented shelter #5, by the playgrounds. Everyone had a great time. I want to thank the park employees for keeping the shelter, playgrounds and restrooms so pristine. I would not hesitate to rent there, again. Thank you, again!!
