2nd l Asia 1 week I tried and very good. Definitely not at good as the Gilbert location. Decent prices and good food.

We eat here all the time as a neighborhood favorite. It’s always delicious, the staff is super friendly, and it’s always very clean inside. Def recommended if you’re looking to grab a decent Mexican meal in an easy-going laid-back atmosphere.

The place is very clean inside. The customer service is really good. They really go out of their way and make sure you have everything you need. The food was excellent quality, but it didn’t really do much for me. I tried the pork, shrimp, and grilled fish tacos. The grilled fish was probably the best. I would never order the pork again. It didn’t really taste like anything. The shrimp was pretty good.

I LOVE BOCA!! I've been going here for years, all locations, and the food is super yummy! The staff is great! Super nice, happy, smiling, and always taking care of me. 😊 Their chips and salsa are awesome! I love the green salsa, my wife prefers their red. The enchilada with a side or rice and beans is my go-to. I also love the salmon taco! And the rice and beans... mmmm, they're great! (you know some places can really let you down... but not Boca, they know what's up for good rice and beans! 😄) The Chimichanga with pork is delicious! Love that it comes with guac and sour cream! I get mine smothered (enchilada style) with green sauce and my daughter really likes it too! And whatever you do, be sure to get their Churros... by far the best around. I honestly might prefer them over Disney churros... in fact, I do! Literally the best churros anywhere! 🤩 I've never felt like oh man, that was gross, super deep fried, gotta be scared I'll get sick... far from it. This place is a clean environment with quality ingredients. I recently tried their mole... I wasn't sure what to expect, as I typically don't care for mole, but the flavor was so beyond my expectations! I'll definitely be getting it again! #somuchflavor 😀 If you live in the Eastmark area, I don't understand how you couldn't make this a weekly go-to. It's so well located, great service, well priced, and of course yummy! I especially love ordering with the mobile app (Local). I order, walk in, and my order is there waiting for me conveniently or handed to me with a smile. They've really nailed the environment and vibe, for an easy going, nice family restaurant. It's far from a whole in the wall, and far from a fancy restaurant... just perfectly in the middle for a nice chill place to take the family for quality food! I love it! Thanks Boca for the great food! Honorable mentions... these are all great too: Tamale with green sauce, Cheese Crisp, Shrimp Taco, Fajita Burrito, Queso dip, simple bean and cheese burrito, and of course the Mini Chimis.

We had the chips trio and the verde salsa is really good with a hint of sweetness. I also got the ramen taquiro bowl and I wasn’t sure what that would be like but it was really tasty!

This place is charming! With a beautiful view. Very clean, lots of seating. Salsa bar and fountain drinks in the dining room for refills. We came for dinner and got some really great plates at happy hour prices. We got chips & salsa, cheese crisp, fiesta bean & cheese burrito, green corn tamale (enchilada style, which I don't care for for and will ask for sauce on the side next time) and 4 mini chimis off the happy hour menu. We also ordered the two taco combo with rice & beans off the regular menu. It was a lot of food and so delicious! Can't wait to try something different next time.

The tacos didn’t have much flavor. The tortillas aren’t cooked right. The tacos are $5 each and small. Definitely not authentic Mexican food. My husband and I got take-out and waited 30 minutes. Rating for each taco: Shrimp taco 3/5 Steak taco 2/5 Fish taco 1/5 (I didn’t take a picture of the fish taco)

The very nice human who took orders today (I didn’t catch the name but beautiful smile and wearing glasses) is the main reason for my review. Thank you for being so kind! For 7.99 the portion was very generous. The flavor of my chicken taco was very good. The green and red salsa both delicious and the chips were awesome as well.

This is a solid place for tasty and healthy tacos, and several other good items. Staff is really great here, especially the manager. I've been here several times and have enjoyed myself every time. I'm disappointed by the 1* reviews, all of which seem to be left by overly entitled individuals with no patience to wait in a busy place for made-to-order food. Go to Taco Bell for that, guys. Thanks Boca! We'll be back for sure.

Was searching for a vegetarian food and landed in Boca Taqueria. Surprised to see that we can order anything from the menu without meat and the restaurant was so good to accomadate our request. Very healthy options for everyone, especially if you are a vegetarian and want more carbs. Place is cute and neat for dine-in.

Great service. Not too busy during the afternoon and the taco Tuesday specials are GREAT!

I love this place! The food here is always good and the service is exceptional. The manager, Rick, is always friendly, attentive, and taking care of his customers. Because of the way Rick leads his team, I will ALWAYS come here. :)

Saw this place on Yelp and I decided to give it a go! When I waked in it was nice to see that the restaurant was very clean and well put together. The menu behind the register was easy to see and read as well. The employees were all super nice and friendly, which is a rarity anymore, and made it my experience even better. I ordered the chili rellano burrito and I will say that I enjoyed in tremendously! I also ordered the Low Card Fajitas (Chicken) and those were very good too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to try! ENJOY!!

Our family of 5 adults just ate at Boca Taqueria this afternoon. The bill was about $75 and food seems fine. About 2 hours later, 3 family members got cramps and stomach issues. We called and the manager who called the owner. The MOD was very nice but told us the owner basically said it's not their problem. This is wrong. although food poisoning can happen in an hour, most takes 24 to 36 hours. However, all resturant inspectors know that if a person feels ill shortly after eating at a restaurant it is usually a chemical contamination. It maybe insecticide, cleaner, solvent or other material that was on the food, pots, utensils or plates. The owner of this restaurant offered us a $7 credit back. What an insult. you can keep the $7 and hopefully many other people will read this review and go somewhere else.

Haven't been here for a number of months. In the past the flavor was just "ok", but I gave it another try this week for lunch. What a difference!!! I kept it simple; cheese enchilada, with beans and rice, and I also ordered the churros. The enchilada sauce had great flavor, the beans were Smokey (in a good way), and like other reviews the rice has something orange mixed in, but still good. lol. The stuffed churros with a chocolate sauce were awesome. The manager here is always so helpful. I'll be back soon.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! This is our "go to" spot! They have great Margaritas, their food is Soooo good! They have a great Happy Hour! The staff if friendly and the service is impeccable! I have never gone and not made new friends sitting out on the patio. This is a great neighborhood joint.

Everything was great honestly. All the salsa's were some of the best I've had. The taquitos were great, queso was great, prices were great, indoor and outdoor seating were great. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Looks way better than it tasted tbh. Had the tacos: steak, salmon, shrimp, chicken, and beef. Rice and beans and side of Guac. Granted, I know things don't taste as good when you take out instead of eating in person but there was just a lack of flavor for everything. I like the salmon taco and the refried beans. I wish I took at picture before I chowed down but I was v hungry. It did look delicious!! Isabelle over the phone was the sweetest though. Very helpful and personable. Thanks lovely, you were probably the best part about the experience. I have no intentions to ever go back, but I do recommend you try the place! Your flavor profile might be different than mine and you may Love It!

I was thrilled to know there was a Boca close to me! A big group of friends gathered there yesterday to celebrate a birthday. It was MISERABLY hot! We asked the employees if the A/C was out and they said "no it's always this hot," as they were dripping sweat! I felt so badly for them. Our group of friends was so hot, the meal wasn't even enjoyable. We ate as fast as we could and then escaped to the nearby Starbucks for a cold drink and to sit and cool off. I ordered the beef tacos and the beef was terrible. It was rubbery and gross. They've definitely cut corners in the quality of beef they use. I hate to leave such a bad review but I have to be honest, this was a major let down.

The only thing they get right at this place is the bean burritos, so if you only want a bean burrito go here otherwise they will mess your order up.

10/10 food, service, aesthetic, beer and more. best bang for your buck in the area. ordered two tacos, a side of rice and a modelo. definitely going back for $1 taco tuesday

Definitely love this place! Margarita Mondays are a fun escape for my mom friends and I'm a huge fan of the salmon tacos. Word of advice, come here with an open mind. While you won't find run of the mill, boring texmex, what you will find is a pleasant array of Mexican inspired flavors, in a fast casual setting and great happy hour options! If you're wondering about the flavors, expect less greasy taco truck and more California fusion style cooking. I was definitely surprised as the flavor profiles were broader than what I was anticipating in a taqueria but once I tasted a few different menu items I was completely sold as were my kids! Thanks for consistently serving up quality with great service guys! Keep it up!

Staff is hit and miss on the friendly meter. It's generally pretty clean. The smokey refried beans are my favorite. The flavors are pretty good. It's kinda like a Chipotle so it's not where I go when I'm looking for real mexican food but it's not bad and has its own flavor on things and I shop at the Safeway next door so it's fulfills a need for sure. The Margaritas are pretty good though I had the pineapple one and thoroughly enjoyed it for the happy hour price :D I also had forgotten I had taken medication so I had a very good time on 1 margarita lol

Food was ok. The Spanish rice had grated carrots, I think, which gave it a sweet taste. We didn't like that. The red enchilada sauce had a strange (not bad) initial taste, but got spicier. Like someone else said, the tacos are big and there's plenty of meat, it's just tasteless. Ambiance - didn't really like the music being so loud that we could hardly hear each other across the table. Also, maybe put the mop away out of sight from customers? Table was a little sticky. Service was great! We told the guy it was our first time and he was very helpful.

I loved the salmon taco! The refried beans were so good too. Staff was friendly and I was able to bring my 11 week old puppy to sit with us on the patio. The bathroom was clean as was the patio area where we sat. Also they had many gluten free options and they were clearly marked on their menu. Amazing. Will be back.

The pumpkin spice horchata was really really good. I highly recommend that. But the boca burrito I got was pretty bland for the price that they charge. I thought the chicken would be much more flavorful. So I was disappointed with that. The service was good though.

Super excited to have a Mexican place close by but very disappointed with the food. Service was great their was a little wait which is typical on a weekend however food lacked flavor and the meat was over cooked. It's a great location and a great space I wish a better quality restaurant was there instead.

I normally get the salmon tacos, like ALWAYS. But there stuffed Casadilla is really good too. Today I tried a steak and salmon enchiladas. For the price, it's pretty good food, super convenient to all that live nearby and the kind of quality food fare we need more of in this area!

Wanted to love this so much because it's close and in my new community! While we've visited the location on Higley several times. We always had a great experience and really enjoyed our food. Tonight at this location, it was absolutely yucky! We ordered two Carne Asada burritos and 3 tacos, pork, chicken and carne asada. The tortillas on all five items were cold and hard. The carne asada was fatty and chewy! Filiberto's serves better than this!!! Unfortunately, I would be a regular here in my new neighborhood if the food was delicious. I hope they can get back to the way it used to be when they had their food truck! So disappointed! Sad sad day!

This place is great! Little background: Ever since moving to Eastmark, I always wanted Boca to be better than it was. It's so convenient and we love Mexican food! We've had "ok" food here met with rude staff in the past. Fast forward to now- the staff is SO friendly!! The food is amazing and there are even affordable lunch specials! I'm so happy this place has changed for the better!

Be aware that if u order from for delivery by a 3rd party (Uber Eats, Doordash...), this restaurant doesn't close up their order of chips. They throw the chips in a brown paper bag and leave it open. Not very sanitary ESPECIALLY when dealing with a 3rd party delivery company. Tried calling to ask if that was the "norm" and was told it was! "That's just how they do it. And it's done that way at all locations." It doesn't take much to close the bag with some tape..a sticker...something! Thanks for wasting my money and putting your customer's health at risk.

We live in East mesa and been craving Mexican food on this side of town for months. We walked in and the place was very nice played great music and very friendly staff. The chips an salsa where AMAZING! nice and warm chips so we got very excited for our food to come. We got our food and it looked very nice lots of color but right away the food seems to be bla... the beans where cold the salad dressing did not seem to match the salmon flavor and I was stuck with the dressing since I already covered all my salad with it. Nice place nice but NOT authentic :/ Might just go back and try tacos and chips with salsa next time. Positives + Great location and great music with comfortable seating.

We went to this restaurant at the Greenfield location a couple years ago, and the food was good, but nothing to write home about. Yesterday, we stopped in for lunch since the location is right next to us. We all ordered a Watermelon Margarita--and wow. It was so good and refreshing! The drink alone made us want to come back again (and we are--next week!). We shared an order of the Boca Trio, which is chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole. The chips were so fresh tasting--as well as the salsa. Luckily the salsa was out in the dining room so we could fill up as many times as we needed--and we needed! Both salsas were so fresh tasting. I'm more of a green salsa girl, but even the red salsa was amazing! The guacamole was fresh tasting and the queso was delicious--my only complaint is I could've had way more queso, it was that good! I ordered the low carb fajitas with shredded beef and it was so tasty! It came with sour cream, cheese, and guacamole on the side. Filling, yet healthy. We shared the churros for dessert, and they were also great! We cannot wait to come back next week. Everyone was so nice and the food was so great!

This place was amazing. Got takeout for the whole fam it was ready on time and made to perfection. Came back a second time with the fam to sit in and get some $4 margaritas on Mondays. It was fantastic. Great service, cool set up, awesome food.

Man oh man. I was super excited to try this place out as it is near our home and a great new place to meet friends for dinner. First off -- the staff was very friendly. The inside is very small and there are absolutely no Covid protocols being followed and I want to mention that for there are still people that would like to and need to know this information. The tables are on top of each other and you are essentially wiggling your way through to your table. The food ... the food is not good. I had the shrimp tacos. The shrimp had no seasoning, no flavor. The salsa that is on there was dull, no flavor. Everything was extremely bland. The tortillas, oh my gosh the tortillas. It's as if they put them in the microwave for 2 seconds. They were corn tortillas, they were cold and falling apart, which means no they did not warm them up long enough. The refried beans ... Lord help me .... The refried beans had absolutely zero taste. Not even the cheese that they topped it with. So I went onto our neighborhood Facebook page as we have a page for Food Lovers and we share restaurant recommendations and such and mentioned that I wasn't a fan and that was the general consensus from like 80 percent of the neighbors that responded about this place as well. They do not like the food. The $5 margaritas are what saves this place. I will not be back and don't recommend it to others to try. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere. Ugh, and I feel so bad for being so harsh but I'm a little annoyed I wasted $20. I didn't even eat it all cuz it wasn't good. I left most of it on my plate.

This was the most disgusting food I have eaten in a very long time. I don't even know what to compare it to. The meat tasted like it was boiled. The carne Asada tasted like a roast and not carne Asada meat. The tortillas looked like and tasted as if they had been microwaved. You know what, in writing this I've realized what I can compare it too. I'd feel safer eating out of a dumpster. I honestly don't know how anyone could find this place appetizing or even consider it real food. Safe to say I'd never go back and not recommend it. I wish I could throw it all up right now.

Always amazing food and great service! My favorite think there is the flying saucer (taco salad) with green salsa. Amazing!

Love Boca, it is close and coinvent, the food is good, but for the last five weeks my schedule has varied and it is almost a test of how fast my food is completed before a pickup order. Today was the worst, I ordered at 4:45 for a 5:30 pickup, I had ended my day a bit early and showed up over 20 minutes before my order pickup time (5:10) and my food was already on the counter. Chicken tacos, so it had been out for who knows how long I had to throw it all away and make food at my house. So if you send an order, dont order ahead, in toast select the first time and drive right there... or order in person.... not worth getting sick over.

Yuck. This is the whitest "taqueria " you could find. The food was not good. We ordered the family pack of tacos but you can only pick one protein and two garnishes. We ordered asada and it was terrible. The queso was not great. The kids quesadilla was microwaved to death. The beans were the best thing. And the service...on kid flirting with his girlfriend while all the tables sat dirty. We had to ask for plates when the food came which perplexed him because "family packs are usually togo". I'm not even sure what I tipped for. And on that the tip options start at 22%. For what? This was all disappointing.

So far been waiting 40 minutes for our food we ordered at a counter so I can't evaluate that aspect of it yet, but probably won't be back based just on the wait. If the food is good, I will update. Food arrived so added 2 more stars bc my husband enjoyed his steak burrito, I did enjoy the chicken flautas, but did not care for the carne asada taco so my husband ate it. Overall this place is far from our house so probably not going back, hopefully they sort out their wait times.

Great location for Eastmark families, but the food is less than desirable. Very fast-food oriented and tastes as such.

We love eating here. It's in our neighborhood. We taste all the delicious recipes that we were familiar with from Rancho de Tia Rosa. The nachos are amazing. There's so much meat and toppings. You honestly get meat with every single bite. I don't get the poor ratings. We go here a couple times on a month and not once had an issue. The fajitas have always been my favorite. Everything we've gotten is delicious.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is gross. I've tried to like it, I really have. The margaritas are pretty good, but way overpriced for a fast food joint like this. Also, service is either slow or they forget about you. Today we sat for 20 minutes with a total of 2 other couples in the entire restaurant. We had to walk up and ask where our food was. They were so confused as to what we were asking. If the restaurant was busy, I could understand, but how can you be so bad at your job!?! We will never return.

I've used the Higley location several times for business meetings and it is one of our family favorites. We were attending a movie in east Mesa and decided to try the Eastmark location. I ordered shrimp tacos for myself and whatever my family wanted. They brought me salmon tacos and I told them it was wrong. A manager came to me with the receipt and told me I did in fact order salmon and not shrimp tacos. I told her no and she said well you can have them but because it would take a long time to make a replacement. I said never mind and they offered me beans and rice and I said ok. I never received my beans and rice so we left. I felt like I was interrogated by two employees stating I did in fact order salmon and not shrimp. They were rude and I will not be going back to this location.

Staff is clueless as to menu and options. Want to order kids taquitos for my son without beans/rice or drink but get tortilla chips instead. Told can't do it...really chips are cheaper. Better yet, they still charged price. Came because was convenient but spent $28 for 2 taquitos, 2 tacos and a burrito. Food is decent but not at that price. Really need to have staff that is knowledgeable and understands customer service...

The staff were friendly, but the food was just OK. The salsa was pretty terrible in my opinion. The salsa I tried (red and green) were both really sweet, and they are salsas that should have been savory. I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant.

Love the food here and have been to several locations prior to this visit but when eating here tonight our order was wrong (we ordered shrimp tacos and received salmon tacos instead) and instead of politely correcting our order we were interrogated by multiple employees insisting that we did order salmon tacos. We then asked for the tacos to be removed from the bill and another employee returned with the wrong taco plate and aggressively placed it on the table stating that it will be thrown away and we should still eat it. We then quickly finished our meal and left and will never be returning to this particular location as I have never experienced worse customer service.

We love this place. Great for when you want to take your time and great if you're in a hurry. Everything is delicious from the food to the drinks! Highly recommend the chip dip trio and margaritas. A wonderful local spot to have close by!

We've been several times. Have read the previous reviews - but our experiences have only been positive. It's a great neighborhood spot. Friendly, casual, comfortable. And the food and drinks are great! Mat is the GM and he's spoken with us each visit. Sounds like Boca had some of the normal opening challenges - and finding good help isn't easy these days. But they are finding their way from our perspective. And we have ordered out several times as well with no issues. If you live in the East Mark area - put this place on your list.

Second time we have been here. Everyone is friendly and drinks are decent but the food is just not good. No flavor and we never enjoy eating here. We want to like it but probably will not be back unless for drinks only.

The food here is terrible. The refried pinto beans tasted like lard and only lard. The rice was nasty. The chicken taquitos tasted like they were the frozen ones you get at Walmart. I ate one and didn't even eat the rest. The beef in the taco was dry. I could barely choke it down. I left hungry and went home to eat a sandwich. We took friends here with us. I was so embarrassed. I will never never never eat here again. Would give it zero stars if I could

Very bland food. The carne tastes like it was made in a pressure cooker/crock pot. Also ordered a bowl and shrimp tacos. All very bland and not even remotely worth the money. Super disappointing because the place looks great and is in my neighborhood. But would not come back.

This is our 2nd attempt at eating at this place since they opened. Not worth wasting your money! I asked for extra salad dressing, got home & there was NO dressing on my salad at all. All our tacos were asked to be flour, everyone was corn when we got home. All the chicken was dry, cold, & old. Cheese quesadilla was cold, visibly old, & not edible. Even the kids wouldn't touch it. :-/ it was a huge waste for or time & money. Don't bother until they hire or train better help :-/.

First time there the tortilla soup is amazing. The pumpkin horchata is divine. We also loved the queso, Boca burrito and relleno burrito. They don't skimp on the portions, when you pay for extra avocado actually get extra avocado. I like the red salsa. Haven't tried the green yet. The tortillas are so fresh. We look forward to going back
