Bocam - Restaurant Figueres

The food was great and well-balanced, with all the main dishes being delicious. We especially enjoyed the Dali-themed desserts, which were a fun and unique touch. They also offered a great selection of teas, which is rare to find in Spain. However, it's important to book in advance as the place can get busy. While the staff was polite and quick, they were clearly understaffed, and it seemed like they had more customers than they could properly manage. On a chilly November day, the restaurant became quite crowded, with all the people waiting for a table eventually squeezing inside.

We had lunch here, the meal was delicious and the desserts were so cute🥚💋 Also the services were nice. We had a great time, thank you! ( we were in a rush to the train station it was a shame we couldn’t tell these comments in person)

Beside all the great Dali' creations, this restaurant is the second reason I love to come back to Figueres. All the food are amazing and with unique cooking identity. Wine list are amazing and with very good price. Service also exceptional!

This was a rare find for exceptional, creative, beautifully presented and elegant tasting food, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend. We sat outside and able to take advantage of fall sunshine, but option was available to sit inside. Wonderful menu with excellent Cava. What a wonderful way to spend a leisurely lunch.

If you are visiting the Dali Museum and you’re tired of tapas, head round the corner to Bocam. We just had a delightful lunch prepared with imagination and washed down with some nice house wine. The service was attentive and at reasonable cost. We shall return.

I do NOT recommend this place. Some of the appetizers were decent, others were mediocre. Beef carpaccio was chewy and not flavorful, cannelloni was good. I wanted the beef rib but apparently they were sold out, something they should have said before I decided I wanted it. I got the beef tataki and I kid you not, one of the worst meat dishes I have eaten in a long time, chewy with fat pieces that were not rendered and a bad tasting sauce with sliced apples on top, nothing went well with anything. Not into that, but they OVERCHARGED by 3 euros, faking the price in the menu. The desserts were good and I recommend the chocolate and passion fruit one, however it does not compensate for the horrible main course I got, especially because he said it was what he recommended.

Very nice place with innovative and very different cuisine. We had 2 dishes, corvina fish and egg/squid metamorphosis, both were great. My only complaint is tge speed of service. We were there on a lazy Sunday afternoon, there were people but it wasn't packed. For tge sake of the food I would certainly recommend this place.

Really fantastic food! Friendly service. We had Surreal salad, Black rice, Mountain rice, and Dali‘s mustache.

Hungry after visiting the Dali Museum, we searched for a place to eat. I saw this place on google maps with some good reviews and the few reviews on Yelp concurred, so we decided to go for it. Boy, were we glad we did. Aside from warm and friendly service, each dish was presented with a thoughtful, artistic touch. The restaurant itself was petite but the clean lines and laid back vibe evoked a design aesthetic that permeated through decor and dishes. Everything was perfectly cooked. The tenderness of the pork and freshness of the vegetables, fish and seafood spoke volumes of the cooking technique as well as emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients. If I had one knock it would be the paella was slightly too salty, but aside from that, bravo! We didn't have time to try desserts but if we ever come back to Figueres would love to visit this place again.

Surreal! Not only was the food a work of art, the flavors were something all-together new. Service was phenomenal. Do not miss this restaurant if you are in the area!

The food was delicious. Had gyoza and tacos for appetizers, and ceviche for main. The atmosphere is classy and fine dining. The service was very good even though they messed up the order.

What an incredible restaurant!! My family and I dined here after we visited the Dalí museum. The cuisine here is upscale but at an affordable price. They have an open kitchen so you can see the chefs preparing your food. All of our dishes were unique and incredibly delicious. We had pork tacos, a pork paella, fish, and cannelloni. The presentation of all the dishes were beautiful. This restaurant is a hidden gem and if you get a chance to dine here, please do so!

Absolute food heaven. We tried most of the entries and starters, the worst thing is trying to rank them portions are OK, taste and service is fantastic. We sat by the desk that has a clear view of the open kitchen area, chefs are working in such a hurry, it was also amazing to watch them. If you ever visit Figueres, dont miss the opportunity to eat in Bocam.

This place came with great reviews and well deserved. Tiny place not great for big crowds and service was absolutely wonderful.

This is s marvelous place to eat. We enjoyed a great meal which included a tuna maki appetizer, a monk fish stew, a shrimp/ Iberico pork dish with vegetables and Dali's egg and Clara's lips desserts. The food was incredible. Very flavorful yet delicately seasoned. The sauces were devine and the service was prompt and friendly. We were the last couple for the dinner service and we were able to eat at a leisurely pace and were never hurried. This is the place to visit in Figueres

At a corner in small street, this restaurant was a great discovery. The dishes seems to be be designed by a creative chef with sophisticated mix of local and international cuisine. We had a revuelto de gambas, butifarra rice and coconut cream with banana and ice cream, all of them were spectacular! We did not reserve and the waiter "punished" us with 20 minutes before getting our order (He told the same story to all non reservation table coming after us). It has a nice interior with view to the kitchen. Highly recommended place!

Yelp needs to add more stars to fully judge this restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. And for the price, it becomes even better. After spending the day at the Dali Museum (which would have made the trip to Catalan worthwhile) my wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant that had only been open three weeks. (I listed Bocam as Modern European/Spanish/French though the restaurant is more Catalan. Yelp doesn't give many options for the different types of foods served around the world.) The food was as good as any meal you would find at a restaurant run by José Andrés or Ferran Adrià, but at prices you would find at moderate to low end restaurants. I believe the chef at Bocam should be receiving his first Michelin soon. Of all of the restaurants I have eaten, I recommend Bocam over all of the rest, hands down. I'm trying to gather the words to describe how amazing this restaurant is.... I spend a ton of time in Europe and this is one of the best restaurants on the continent. It can EASILY flourish in the heart of Los Angeles or New York. The place is impeccably designed. It's so tastefully minimalistic but with plenty of style. The staff is beyond competent and mindful. They were personable, interesting, entertaining, professional, knowledgeable about the food, and so helpful. The food. Oh, my! The food. I am still dreaming about it now. They kindly sent us an Amuse Bouche that I can only describe as "fun". lol. Delicious and fun. We had cocktails which the bartender made especially for us, so it wasn't on the menu. It was extremely refreshing and perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness. Most drinks tend to be too sugary for me. I was very happy. We ordered: STARTER: Salmon Tartare with Honey Soy, Sesame, and Crunchy Seaweed Nori SIDE: Grilled Broccoli RICE: Black Rice Paella with Cuttlefish and Squid FISH/MEAT: Grilled Scallops w Tuber Foam and Iberian Bacon. Grilled Seabass with Vegetables and Parmentier. DESSERT: Cold Coconut Soup, Candied Banana and Green Tea Matcha Ice Cream. Hazelnut Cake with Toffee and Chocolate. The dishes were SO interesting and hats off to the chef. The combo of ingredients were a dance on the palette. I really wish they had one here in LA because it would definitely become one of my regular spots. I hope to find my way back to Figueres again.

Wow! Just wow! We've been eating amazing food all over Barcelona and Costa Brava and this FAR surpassed all of our experiences. The service was warm. The food was AMAZINGLY beautiful and delicious. I've never had such great food for such great value anywhere. Magnifique! Merci!

They didn't actually reserve us a table. They were very rude about this too for some reason. Can't say much about the food. Didn't get to try it. Also gives off a claustrophobic atmosphere.
