This place is amazing the food is on point and large portions. We went for our sons 18th birthday and even though it wasnt customary for them, the whole staff went out of their way to sing happy birthday to him and made it fun. I really appreciate the staff for that. Thank you so much for such an awesome experience. We will definitely come back.

Stopped in for early lunch while in town for work. The sandia agua fresca was delicious! I ordered the birria tacos. They didn’t disappoint! They were huge compared to what I’m used to in Houston. They were packed with meat and cheese. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. I’d definitely come back next time I am in town.

A very quaint Mexican restaurant right across the street from the Baytown Town Square. I enjoyed the ramen and the tacos. The staff was very friendly. The location was clean and had space. The value was good as well. It's always nice to get a filling lunch for under $10 these days. If I had some constructive criticism, the restaurant was a little dark. I also think the ramen broth could be a little thicker. I will be back if I am in Baytown!

The food was yummy but I felt we were missing pickled radish and carrots with the birria tacos. The aesthetic isn’t very established inside yet but they’re new and can do this over time if they choose. My hubby got the nachos with birria and they were phenomenal! I really wish they would’ve served chips and green sauce with the food but they serve these unique wheelie things that I didn’t love. Green salsa was flavorful but we like it spicier (personally). Additionally, and an easy fix is that the ladies restroom needed a clean and personal touches

Everything we had was tasty and super good! Loved the birria ramen and hot Cheeto asada tacos. Hubby loved the nachos and lemonada. Tables were clean and service was excellent! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

I came for the birria and I was not disappointed. I saw the pictures on the wall and asked-this guy worked really hard and made his way out of a food truck. That told me all I needed to know- this is the hole in the wall authentic good home cooking. The service was quick and kind, the place is clean and cute. I’ll come back next time I’m in town.

Nice surprise find and so good, will be going back. I was worried about the hot Cheetos but they add just the right taste and bring on the wow factor! Staff was super nice and not intrusive. Go check it out!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently dined at Bocanegra and had an exceptional experience! The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. The food, while not mind-blowing, offered a refreshing twist on American Texmex cuisine, adding an intriguing spin to familiar flavors. Overall, Bocanegra provides a delightful dining experience worth revisiting.

I probably won't revisit this place. Restaurant is in a good location, good vibes. The food was unimpressive in my opinion. I got the Mexican hot dog with cheese covered Cheetos and the birria ramen. The Cheetos were STALE. Completely stale, it was nasty. I tried some Cheetos without the cheese and it was the same. The broth in the birria ramen wasn't good. It tasted like mop water. I was a little disappointed they didn't sell micheladas to pair up with their topo chicos. I may try this place again but after that visit, I wouldn't recommend it.

I was in Baytown for a basketball game and needed to grab something to eat. Just upon walking in I was turned off. The place has junk (papers, boxes, scissors etc) just lying around. The workers were sitting at the first table eating food they purchased from elsewhere. Which is as a red flag. We ordered the birria quesadillas and birria eggrolls. Both items were filled with meat but we didn't like any of the food. Overall, customer service was a 8/10. Food was a 2/10. The establishment was 2/10.

Omg a great place to come and munch!! Good birria and good options, don't hesitate to come here!! I heard after coming the first time, that it's been here for quite a while and I was happy to know that they won't disappear anytime soon yes!!!!! They give you chicharrones as a snack while you wait for your food!!! And let me tell you it's hard to choose from the variety of food they have!!! Omg It's a pretty chill spot and pretty good service too! Very inviting and love the ambiance a lot!!! Mexican music in the background , can't go wrong with that!! We ordered the corn with birria and also the loaded fries!! Just look at pics!! So delicious dammm I can't wait to come back and I'm not even gone yet lol

Y'all!!! This place is so bomb!!! The birria ramen is sooooo good! And if you get the large, you're not going to have room for much else. My friends got the regular birria tacos and mini birria tacos and the Thursday special which was the nachos. They deep fry their own tortilla chips for the nachos and just the regular nachos are a tray not a plate. lol The star of the menu I felt was the birria egg rolls! Friggin delicioso!! Dip them in the sweet chili sauce and Bruuuuh! lol The place is spacious with lots of table availability, good music too. Manager is a very nice guy and the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. Hey definitely have a repeat customer with me and my friends.

Good taste, good portion size definitely recommend. Tacos have been good here as well as the hotdog.

Let's be real...it's not that bad. A food truck turned brick and mortar. So don't go in here expecting high society food. This is a street food vendor off the street serving you up so quick eats. They are delicious I recommend the egg rolls and corn if that is your thing. Definitely will be back to try out other items since majority of the menu is beef it is good for the no pork eating class:

I have loved everything I have tried from this spot! The birria ramen, egg rolls, fries, tacos, and I had a taste of their huge burrito. So good! I crave this place all the time.

I don't know how to express in just words how good the tacos here are. One of the best meals I have EVER eaten. Service was great too! I live far away but will be back 1000 percent. Check this place out!!!!!

It's a little odd to me going into the building where the borderline fine dining red fox used to be for what is basically food truck fare. Once I got past that odd feeling I found a simple menu with some interesting items. You almost lost me at hot cheetos but I ordered queso tacos, half birria, half chicken. They were quite tasty and ample in size, i actually preferred the chicken, but both were great. I will definitely try be back again in the coming months

We just DoorDash and I must say I am shocked how disappointed we were with our food. I've ordered before about a year ago and really enjoyed it. We got the corn on the cup. The nacho cheese used is awful. It gives cheap nacho cheese hardly flavored and the flavor it gives doesn't taste good at all. The egg rolls were legit like before, the only thing I can recommend atp. The pizzadilla.. smh. The hot Cheetos on top were stale and the ones inside were even more stale .. and that nasty nacho cheese was in there too. I really wish that was an option because that cheese messes up how good the food can be. The quesadilla was full of meat and cheese with the right about to cilantro and onions. But it didn't need that nacho cheese and chips. The green sauce, limes and consommé was the only thing that helped us eat it and not throw it away. Such a waste of money and disappointing. Would I go back or recommend? Sure for the egg rolls I guess.

Best tacos ever. They were so crunchy and delicious. The staff was also super nice and helpful. We went kind of late so it was empty but the vibe still had a really nice vibe to it. Definitely going back for more.

The Birria tacos and ramen are so so good! There is so much meat in the ramen and the tacos had an amazing cheese pull and right amount of greasiness. Best Birria tacos in the area!!

Very nice staff and delicous birria eggrolls. The eggrolls are good to share for 2 people and tasty drinks. We came in when it was busy but it was a fast service and a great place to hangout and eat.

This place got recommended from a friend that said it was good, so I tried it and I was disappointed. First in the menu it said it was RED TORTILLAS! Once I got home and open up both plates I didn't see NOT ONE RED Taco. The Consume taste more like chicken broth than actual birria consume. The Birria meat itself was actually the only good part about it. also ordered the corn on a cup an it look like it was microwaved before I got there tasted horrible. I will not recommend

After many requests of my girl begging me to get some food from this place since it recently opened we finally did. 2 hot dogs fully loaded, 1 loaded potato and a kids chicken strips. 50 some dollars. I'm a foodie. I will definitely spend 50$ happily but as good as the food looks in bocanegras page it's not as good as it looks unfortunately. To start off with my meal we're the 2 hotdogs, they are huge I should've got one. The wrong thing about this hotdog is the actual sausage, maybe change the sausage and add more sauce (mayo ketchup and mustard) because that's what I asked for and got a weird sauce and it should be alright then. My girlfriends potato was Sad... no butter, no sour cream, and just a waste of money honestly. The best thing about this order was probably my daughters chicken tenders lol. I'll try to go back and try something new but until then 1/10.

Food is great. Birria is good. Asada is good. Birria egg rolls are good. Hot dog is low key pretty good. Wait staff is solid. Atmosphere is nice .

we just love the food here , fast n good service the burritos are so good never been disappointment. We'll go back happy eating.
