Bocas Paradise Hotel

Staff was friendly and accommodating, and even provided extra towels when we wanted to use the outdoor shower to clean off after being in salt water. There was music one night but it didn’t affect our sleep any, and the next night we didn’t hear it at all. The breakfast menu is kind of small but the food is good and overall the whole stay was very much worth the money

The hotel is well positioned with beautiful views. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast is good and the cocktails are cheap. The staff are without exception, friendly, helpful and kind. This was clearly demonstrated when my husband fell ill during our stay and everyone offered us support. The security guard, Raymond was a real star and went above and beyond his remit.|It is unfortunate that they are so close to a noisy venue, but Bocas is a party town so maybe this is to be expected.

I wish I would've taken the reviews commenting on the noise mute seriously. I don't think we got a decent night of sleep even 1 night. There were ear plugs in our room, which was nice, but they didn't do a thing. Aqua and Barco seemed to be competing to see who could blast music the loudest and closest til dawn. We had a waterfront balcony room, loved the view and the outdoor space. The pillows were great, lots of storage, mini fridge. The a/c worked great and also had a dry function- which was needed when the window by our bed leaked during a downpour. The staff was fairly friendly, but sometimes hard to find. Location is great, if you want to be in the heart of Bocas Town, however we'd stay at a beach hotel next time instead- the closest beach is either by water taxi or bus/bike- nothing walkable.

Very comfortable beds, central location, friendly staff, reliable air conditioning, good shower (my hot water worked but my friends didn’t). Only real negative is loud music from nearby discotecas, but I expected that from reading other reviews and think it was worth it for being so centrally located.

The hotel itself is quite pleasant, a beach-inspired establishment with comfortable beds and breathtaking views if you opt for the oceanfront rooms. The location is excellent. However, be mindful of the nearby nightclub, as many guests have reported disturbances. If you’re sensitive to noise, especially during weekends, it might be best to avoid this area. I’m only giving it 4 stars because the breakfast is quite disappointing. They offer instant fruit juice, and I received undercooked rice on both days. Despite these issues, I had a great stay and would definitely return. However, I would not pay for breakfast here again.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel even with clean rooms and good location simply because too loud next door disco that stays loud till 3 am and could be up to 5 am on Saturday nights. Too noisy even if you use ear plugs, doesn’t work. So if you book your stay there be prepared to stay up till early hours of the morning. Very disappointing experience

What can I say , this is the best hotel on such beautiful island- our initial plan was to stay for 1 night as we can from Costa Rica, but we extended our stay for another 3 nights for 2 reasons : the island is wonderful , and more importantly the hotel is outstanding in every aspect: friendly staff , direct view over the sea , next door to the water taxi port , without such lively hotel, we would juts stayed for 1 night and got back to Costa Rica to continue our vacation there - We definitely will stay in that hotel if one day we decided to come back to this heaven island

Great room and service. The restaurant had a great menu with many delicious options and some of the best and most affordable drinks.
