"Inside Mayflower Bocawina National Park, you'll find the longest zip-line course in Belize. With 14 platforms and nine runs, the entire course is 2.5 miles long, with the longest run 2,300 feet. Soar through the trees as guides show you the art of zip-lining safety and technique. You can also learn about jungle life as your guide shows you wildlife and medicinal plants, and if you are feeling adventurous, you might find yourself tasting termites straight from a tree. The entire course takes about an hour and a half, and you can book an excursion with Bocawina Rainforest Resort & Adventures . We only spent one night at this wonderful place, but it left a great impression. We stayed in a double cabin – it was a bit worn, but spacious and comfortable. The mattress was wrapped in plastic to protect it from moisture, which made turning over a bit noisy during the night. However, the cabin had mosquito nets on the windows, so no bugs got in, which we really appreciated. Before arriving, I had read quite a few negative reviews about the restaurant, so I was a bit hesitant, especially as I prefer not to eat meat. We arrived just in time for dinner, which was buffet-style. To my surprise, there were fresh salads, salsa, rice, and a chickpea stew – all made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. For breakfast, we had vegetarian burritos. They were okay, nothing special, but definitely decent. The park itself was absolutely stunning, with several hiking trails to explore. And the best adventure of all was the zipline! There were multiple lines of different lengths, and it was such a breathtaking experience to fly above the jungle. Truly unforgettable.

A little distant to reach but the road was very accessible. I went to do the zip lining tour and it was BEAUTIFUL 🤩🤩 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I will bring a group just to experience this with them and the adrenaline rush it brings. My guides were amazing as well. Very knowledgeable!

We zip lined at Bocawina and had a great time. Emanuel and Victor were with our group. They took safety as a priority, had fun, taught us some things about the trees/ plants/ animals/ area and made our adventure awesome! The zip line was really fun, beautiful views of the jungle. I would definitely recommend going here.

If you are looking for an amazing experience look no further, Just a quick drive from the highway & you are fully in a jungle getaway. Zip lining was amazing highly recommend, you are looked after every step of the way. Embrace the feeling of flying from tree to tree as we did and what a view was definitely worth it, highly recommend.

We stayed here in December 2024 for a few nights as we traveled through Belize and had a great stay! The staff was so helpful and the food was great. Adventures- we did the antelope water fall which was GREAT. BEAUTFIUL and so fun as well as the repelling that was a blast and a great adventure. Zipling was SO fun and our guides, Victor and Israel were the best. They were funny, happ, helpful, gave great directions and made us have the best time. We just came back in July 2025 to zip line and had Israel and Victor again and were so happy. We loved it just as much!! We strongly recommend you checking them out!

Rude staff, no air conditioner, expensive food made this place a bad choice. Our expectations were an all inclusive experience but that was not the case. I understand that. What I did not understand is their arrogance. Their food was double any other meal we had the entire trip! Kudos to the chef and server, though. They were fantastic.

What a treat to stay in the heart of the rainforest! The staff and guides were very helpful, friendly, and informative. Although not a great deal of variety, the meals were all fresh and delicious. Very clean. The beds and pillows were super hard (that was the only downside for me). We were able to stay cool enough with a fan on us at night. I was able to see two different kinds of toucans and Red Fronted Amazons! I can't wait to come back.

Gorgeous room and property, and the Resteraunt has amazing food. However everything else about this place is an absolute joke. No AC in the room in 2025 when mini splits and even window units exist, is unacceptable in a climate like Belize, especially at this resorts price point. The lady at the front desk was very rude and condescending. They used the same product as body wash in the shower and handsoap in the bathroom sink, not to mention not including shampoo and conditioner- again, embarrassing for a hotel claiming to be luxurious. Their website claims every stay includes 3 meals a day, this is a lie, and simply entrapment, to get you to pay for the overpriced food they claimed was included with EVERY stay, they know you can’t go anywhere else, given their abhorrent dirt road into the property (other dirt roads we’ve traveled on during our trip have been very well maintained) and can’t starve. No mini fridge in the room is a joke, I’ve stayed in budget hotels with a fridge. On top of all of that, they can’t even waive the national park fee for those staying on the property…. Honestly, I could go on and on about how awful this place is but I’ll leave it at stay as far away from this place as you possibly can, worst hotel of the trip by far, and possibly one of the worst I’ve ever stayed at. If I could leave lower than a 1 star, I would.
