We had lunch here with a friend. We asked to be seated indoors to have reduced noise levels as our friend is elderly, with some hearing challenges. It was nice and quiet indoors, with lovely views of the lake ( the patio views, are, of course, superior.) Great service, good food. The chicken parmiagiana was excellent , as was the spinach ravioli! A lovely experience.

What a great experience! We came out for Valentine’s Day weekend and expected it to be very busy, but luckily it wasn’t bad at all. My boyfriend made reservations, which definitely helped. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted nicely and seated right away. We decided to sit outside because they have a beautiful view of the lake, and the outdoor heaters made it perfect for dinner. The patio looks so pretty with lots of seating and chandeliers running through the middle, making it feel very nice and fancy. The service was amazing. Our waiter took great care of us, answered all our questions, and gave us the best food recommendations. For appetizers, we ordered the clams. They were okay—not my favorite, but not terrible either. They were marinated in a lemon sauce but were lacking a little flavor. For the main course, I couldn’t decide between the lobster ravioli and the seafood soup. I asked our waiter what he recommended, and he said the lobster ravioli—and when I say it didn’t disappoint, I MEAN THAT. It was one of the best raviolis I’ve had in a long time. So creamy and flavorful, I would come back just for that dish. My boyfriend ordered his usual ribeye steak with potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. I do wish it came with mashed potatoes instead of roasted potatoes, but it was still good. At the end, we got the dessert menu, and how could I say no? We ordered the crème brûlée, and wow—it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back again. Strongly recommend!

I love this restaurant!! The service was fantastic. I felt bad forgetting the name of the server. He had a great sense of humor very friendly. The food was delicious which is equally important as the service. And the view was beautiful. Even at night during winter it’s still was beautiful.

Went here since our hotel recommended it. The restaurant is beautifully located by a private lake. Food is on par and overrated due to lack of competition. The seared tuna for starter was amazing and the star of the evening. The overprized lobstertail was ok but not much more and the same goes for the linguini al vongole. The desserts was ok. We will not return.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Boccaccio’s! We were pleasantly surprised to get a reservation on a Saturday just an hour before arriving, and the staff seated us at one of the best tables with beautiful lake views — the perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Veal Parmigiana was tender and flavorful, the Linguini Pasta Suprimo was rich and perfectly balanced, and the clam chowder was creamy and comforting. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. To top it all off, the Baked Alaska dessert was the perfect sweet ending — light, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed. We’ll definitely be returning soon to enjoy another lakeside meal!

Reservation that day for 10+ people - no problem. The view was fantastic and the food was great also. Our server what great - so nice and patient - she is a keeper. It was a great experience. Took a few pics of the salads and forgot to do the rest of the food.

We made a lunch reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately at a large round table outside with a beautiful view of the lake. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Since it was a weekend we were able to order from either the lunch menu or brunch menu so there were tons of options. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak frites which he really liked. He said it was a nice tender cut of beef. Our group also had the chicken parmesan and some breakfast/brunch items which they all enjoyed. They have a very large outdoor seating area and it’s nice sitting outside with the lake. Very nice weekend brunch vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the price point since most brunch spots can be way overpriced. They served their signature Baked Alaska as a free dessert for the birthday girl which was really cool since it’s served flambéd. I really enjoyed Boccaccio’s and will definitely be back to try their dinner items.

As an Italian who absolutely loves being near the water, I couldn’t imagine a better place to enjoy a beautiful dinner or impress out-of-town guests. We sat outside overlooking the lake, watching the water glisten during sunset—such a stunning, relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp scampi, and it was truly the best I’ve ever had. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and every element on the plate was cooked to perfection. From the ambiance to the food, everything at Boccaccio’s was exceptional. If you’re searching for top-tier Italian dining with lakeside views in Westlake Village, Boccaccio’s is an absolute must-visit.

My wife attended a conference in Thousand Oaks. I went with her from Seattle to spend time with friends who live nearby. We all went to Boccaccio's our first evening there. Our three friends all were very familiar with the place. Boccaccio's has a good reputation. Unfortunately it was 96 degrees there the day we arrived and a major part of the attraction is sitting outside by Westlake. Our server was a distinguished gentleman who clearly knew his craft. Couldn't ask for better. We ordered veal, shrimp and scallops pastas and beet salads. Everything was well prepared however I was not particularly hungry due to the heat. We ended up with lots of leftovers. Normally I prefer low key, family ethnic restaurants over corporate ones. Still Boccaccio's was a good spot for us to bring our friends and thank them for hosting us. I don't live in the area but even if I did I probably wouldn't go back very often. It's just not my style.

Boccaccio's has been around for years, and it truly doesn't disappoint. I brought a group of friends here to celebrate a birthday, and it was the perfect spot for a special night out. We were seated on the patio with a gorgeous view of the sunset over the lake -- such a beautiful setting and great ambiance. The service was excellent from start to finish: attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. Everything we ordered was delicious, but a few standouts: the Winter on the Lake cocktail was amazing (highly recommend), and the food was just as impressive. The crab cake was flavorful and perfectly done, the lobster bisque was rich and comforting, and the salmon piccata was excellent -- cooked perfectly with a great balance of flavors. If you're looking for a classic restaurant with great views, great service, and consistently great food, Boccaccio's is a must.

This is my husband and I's absolute favorite go to restaurant in Westlake Village for all the meals of the day, breakfast and brunch to lunch to dinner! Beyond the incredible view of the lake, the food in itself is so good!! This is also we keep coming back here! The service was amazing with the staff very attentive, and the food is always prepared quickly, efficiently, and most importantly cooked beautifully and perfectly. The vibes are immaculate, and we can't wait to keep coming back here for all of the special events, from birthdays to holidays to any celebration! Parking is plentiful and free! Definitely a visit if you are passing by the area in Westlake Village!

Nestled right on the lake, this spot brings the perfect mix of elegance and relaxation with stunning waterfront views and a brand new brunch menu you have to try. Their cocktail menu is vast and probably one of the better menus I've seen at a more elegant restaurant. They aren't just serving up those classic martinis and wines - they have a large selection of innovative and fun cocktails. For example I ordered their Matcha Margarita and I loved it! Matcha and tequila? Who knew it would be such a good mix. Definitely would order this again. They serve weekend brunch now with an exclusive brunch menu which was impressive. But don't worry, we came at 11am and they still provided a regular lunch menu of breakfast isn't your thing. I had their sausage eggs Benedict and it was a 10/10. I actually prefer sausage over ham, so I love the idea of getting this on a muffin. Their crispy potatoes were also heavenly. Service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. The kind of restaurant where they make everyone feel like a celebrity and a VIP. The drinks & food arriving to our table were well paced and honestly it was a perfect meal to kick off the weekend. Reservations are highly recommended, especially if you want to grab an early seat by the water.

Came her with my mom to celebrate her birthday. There is parking available both near the restaurant and further in the plaza since parking nearby tends to get full. We did make a lunch reservation just a day in advance and it was not super busy when we arrived so it's likely possible to come by without a reservation. This is located directly by the lake (bring a jacket!) and is a stunning place to eat and to take photos. Our service was quick though we had very long breaks in between seeing our server come and go. Clementine Spritz 4/5, this is their twist on an aperol spritz. My only dilemma here is I couldn't taste any major clementine-ness so it just felt like an average aperol spritz. Definitely heavy hand pour though Beef Carpaccio 4/5, this was soft and melted in our mouths. I will say we did not know this dish comes raw and had some food related issues later that may have been related to this so ,, just be aware ,,,, Grilled Lamp Chops 5/5, I got this and wow. The meat is soft and tender (I ordered medium) and the asparagus is soft and melts in your mouth. Potatoes are average. Portion wise this is on the slightly smaller side so please be aware Sesame Crusted Big Eye Ahí Tuna 5/5, my mom got this and thoroughly enjoyed. The portion sizing of this is large and we took about half home to eat as another meal Baked Alaska 3/5, okay this was our first time ever trying baked Alaska and we were not huge fans :( it's essentially Neapolitan ice cream on a pie crust (?) the good news is this was free for my mom's birthday and was just okay but I definitely would not order this Italian Cheesecake 4/5, this was made with Ricotta vs a traditional cheesecake. I was a fan of this and preferred this to the Baked Alaska but my mom who is normally a cheesecake fan didn't. I'd say cheesecake purists beware

Boccaccio's is a staple for delicious dinner on Westlake lake with a view. It is upscale food with Italian leanings - reliably delicious, but not wildly innovative. If you get reservations for a patio seat at sunset, it really is quite exquisite. They won't let you reserve an outdoor table specifically, but I would recommend making reservations on the early end of dinner so you have more seating choices. It looked like you could also rent out a little boat that was docked just near the restaurant and have food served to you there- probably pricy because Westlake is bougie, but a very fun idea and a unique experience! The dress code was casual- elegant it seemed, and ambiance is romantic. Our family had several appetizers- arugula and Asian pear salad and roasted beet salad. They were good and a decent size, but not life- changing. We also had calamari, which was very tasty. My spouse and I shared the pan seared pork chops and it was perfect portion wise for us. It was pretty delicious. I loved the sauce on top and the pork chop was moist and flavorful. The rest of our party had linguine and clams, blackened shrimp pesto, Chilean sea bass, and I think chicken toscano. The kiddos had burgers and fries. One of the kids' burgers was burnt so we had to send it back, but they helped us out. Everything (sans burger) was well made and it came out in a timely fashion. It is a large restaurant with lots of tables, and quite a few larger parties so this was no mean feat. At the end of the evening, since it was my mom's birthday, they brought out baked Alaska as a complimentary dessert. It was a very nice touch, and really delicious. They pour some liqueur and set it aflame and serve tableside, so it is very dramatic and gets some oohs and ahhs. It is an almond cookie crust with chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and pistachio ice cream and a meringue on top.

July 7, 2025 Had a wonderful lunch with my wife at Boccaccio's at the lake in Westlake Village. The hostess was welcoming and kind and she sat us at a lovely table overlooking the lake. What a beautiful day. Sam was our amazing server and all of the staff were attentive and very nice. Excellent team customer service. We started with drinks as I had an ice tea and my wife had a Mojito. The fresh bread an butter was delicious and nice and warm. We ordered the escargot and Ceasar Salad as appetizers. For our lunch entrees we both had the Dover sole plate which was absolutely fantastic. The veggies and fingerling potatoes complimented the sole and everything was perfect. Compliments to the chef and the entire staff. Highly recommended Previous review What a great dining spot. Boccaccio's is quite a popular dining establishment at the lake. We had reservations for 1 p.m. and John was our amazing server. The ambiance is awesome and with views of the lake and lots of happy people. We started with drinks from Mojito, Fig old fashioned, bloody Mary and yes the Cadillac Margarita. OK maybe a few rounds. We started with escargot and calamari which were both excellent. We had Dover Sole, shrimp linguini and the Cioppino. For dessert we had baked Alaska, cheesecake, ice cream and the Special Hagan Daz delight. Of course cappuccino and coffees as well. A great time and fantastic service. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to eat. The food is delicious I had grilled salmon and a side order of arugula salad. Excellent! The view overlooking the lake's it's beautiful.

Stay for the views, drinks, and appetizers, leave for everything else! Boccaccio's is located in westlake village and is adjacent to the lake. It has spectacular views, notably at sunset when we went. We started off with some cocktails and appetizers, including the fried ravioli and burrata. Both the cocktails and appetizers were delicious! They had a lot of flavor and the drinks were well balanced and flavorful. The entrees were a bit lacking. Although the eggplant parm was okay, the chicken in the chicken Alfredo and chicken parm were both dry and hard to eat. The service was friendly but very, very slow. It took a long time to place our orders between the appetizers and entrees. Although they were very attentive when we needed something like water refills, we were still there for two hours. Overall, I do recommend this place for the atmosphere for the lake and a nice cocktail hour but would head elsewhere for the main entrees.

One of the best dinners I had in a long time! The atmosphere is incredible especially with the sunset and paired well with all the delicious dishes they serve! We ordered different items for a table of 6 and they were all SO good. Got the shrimp scampi and I was surprised that the shrimp was so big. Seems like the price had increased since a year ago so I'm not sure if the price is worth it. Lots of parking and it didn't take us long to find one despite it being a holiday weekend. Am only giving it a 4/5 because it took quite a bit for food to come by, service was a little slow but we came by for dinner the day before Father's Day so that might be the explanation. Will be coming back again!

One of the best places I've been to in a while. We were celebrating my husband ms birthday with family. The setting was beautiful! The food was amazing! The staff was the best....very attentive without being over bearing. I can't wait to go back....this is one of my new favorites!

We went in expecting a real nice dinner. Our reservation was at 7:45, we were told they were running behind and they would seat us at 7:55. It had been 20 minutes and we had to stand up and ask if our table was ready in which they said "oh umm we'll seat you in a few minutes". After we were seated we waited about 15-20 minutes for our waitress to come over. Very strange man, he would stare at us for few seconds after we finished giving him our order and when he would come check in. Food was absolutely the worst Italian food I've tried. I've tried better Italian at a much less expensive restaurant. It seemed reheated and was very bland and flavorless. Overall we probably spent about 45 minutes to an hour waiting for our food to be brought to us. First and last time coming here.

We came here expecting a nice dinner but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived we asked how long the wait would be and were told we could be seated "right away." Instead, we waited about 20 minutes. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but we were on their paging system and would have happily walked around by the water while waiting if we had known it would take that long. After being seated, service was extremely slow. It took quite a while for the waitress to acknowledge us, and once we ordered drinks and food it took 30 minutes for the drinks and about an hour and a half for the food to arrive. The food itself was also disappointing. I asked for my angel hair pasta to be al -dente, but it came out mushy and overcooked, and the sauce tasted like something from a jar (honestly Rao's from the store tastes better). We also ordered a seafood risotto and specifically asked for light butter, which the waitress said was no problem. When it arrived it was swimming in butter to the point that it completely overpowered the dish. To make matters worse, the long delay meant we never even got to see the dessert menu and I had been looking forward to a particular dessert I saw when we walked in. The waitress did bring us a complimentary dessert at the end because she said the kitchen had been backed up by a large party, which was thoughtful, but it didn't make up for the overall experience or the quality of the food. Between the long wait, slow service, and disappointing dishes, this was unfortunately a very poor dining experience. There are plenty of other restaurants at the Landing that I would recommend trying instead.

My husband and I met friends here for a birthday get-together. It's hard not to be taken in by a restaurant on the lake, especially when seated outdoors. Cool sightings of locals stepping off boats to grab takeout for dockside meals. We ordered calamari, lobster bisque, cioppino with linguini and ample seafood, rib eye steak and NY Strip. The meals were tasty and served with warm sourdough bread, but our friend had to send his ribeye back twice before it was prepared properly. Our server greeted us warmly and was quick to assist in resolving the issues. Except for the steak being undercooked, we had a memorable, pleasant evening.

Probably some of the best Italian cuisine I've had in this part of the country, the food at Boccaccio's is awesome. Big portions with super fresh ingredients and colorful presentation make every dish a delight to enjoy. To start off my meal, I enjoyed the rolls with butter. These had just the right amount of chewiness to them and a crust that was perfect. The crab cakes were perfectly crisp with delicious blue crab and a sweet chili aoili to add just the right amount of sweetness and spiciness to the dish. The bruschetta was super fresh is a delicious balsamic vinegar and incredibly juicy tomatoes. The burrata caprese is a fantastic starter. I could not believe how creamy the mozzarella was nor how incredibly juicy the heirloom tomatoes were. The basil matched perfectly with a delicious aged balsamic. For me, this might have been the most memorable dish I had all night. The linguini pasta supremo was huge with plenty of chicken, shrimp, and italian sausage. I felt that the garlic and olive oil was a bit light in flavor even with the chili flakes, but was so full from the rest of my meal that this was really just a bonus. Despite being full, the tiramisu was worth bringing in my dessert stomach for extra capacity. As expected, the marscapone was exceptionally fluffy and the entire dish was well balanced in flavor, without being too sweet. The fresh berries on the side matched well with all the elements, and the presentation was wonderful. Overall, worth a visit for some delicious Italian food. The ingredients are super fresh, flavors well balanced, and presentation is wonderful.

Love this spot. It's very special to my family. The views of Westlake are the best! All menu options are tasty and you cannot go wrong. Service is great and they really take good care of you.

Bocaccio's has been a Westlake staple for a long time. The setting on the lake is great and the food is old school continental and Italian--they even have veal Oscar. Service is good. It is a great place for a special occasion dinner

Went here for a large family brunch and had gotten it to where they had an omelet station along with buffet style food. The patio gives off a beach atmosphere where it is very large and looks nice. Food was great especially the French toast was super tasty and cooked perfectly. The chicken piccata was a bit of a miss because it didn't look appetizing nor taste that great either. I went to Boccaccios's for my wife's birthday. There were 6 people in our party. 4 of us didn't like our food and 2 did. The Seafood Risotto I ordered had undercooked scallops and the Risotto rice was way undercooked, actually hard. My wife and sister in law's chicken Parmigiano was way too salty, my son's dish was just okay. Mother in law's food (spaghetti and meat balls) was enjoyed by her and my brother in law enjoyed his pork chops. I will say, the service was friendly and attentive. I don't think that the experience was pleasurable for us all.

We made a reservation in advance for our anniversary at Boccaccio's because we wanted to try a new Italian restaurant in the area. When arriving, the restaurant is situated in a little center by a Yacht Club on the Westlake Lake. This restaurant is definitely more of an "upscale" kind of restaurant, which we guessed based on the area it was in. There is plenty of parking in the lot, and the restaurant is only a short walk through the center of the businesses around it. There is a lot of seating, some with views of the lake. We checked in and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, and we arrived 20 minutes earlier than our reservation time. The host was very friendly, as well as all of the servers and restaurant staff. Our server greeted us and took our drink order and brought it out very quickly. We were ready to order and he took our order and let us know they would be by to bring some bread and butter out. A couple of minutes passed and the bread was brought out, as we conversated and put the butter on our rolls, our food came out! I would say it was less then 5 minutes from placing our order! We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana which consisted of: Breaded chicken, mozzarella cheese & marinara sauce served with spaghetti and meat sauce. The dish looked perfect and they offered us some freshly grated parmesan cheese to top the dish, we both obliged! We started with tasting the rolls with butter and my goodness, these rolls were DELICIOUS! We knew we were going to enjoy our meal! We then cut into the chicken, and it was breaded perfectly with a nice crisp and still juicy. The flavors of the sauce, mozzarella cheese and chicken were phenomenal. The side of spaghetti was tossed in a meat sauce, and the sauce had chunks of tomatoes which burst in your mouth with flavor! The spaghetti was cooked al dente and was a perfect accompaniment to the chicken which was the star of the show. For dessert we ordered the Baked Alaska which is: Almond cookie crust with chocolate, vanilla, strawberry & pistachio ice cream topped with flaming meringue and the Crème Brûlée Served warm with fresh berries and homemade biscotti. The Baked Alaska was something like we've never had before! They set the meringue on fire and it melts down the ice cream. The flavors were so delicious of the ice creams as well as the almond cookie crust. The Crème Brûlée had the PERFECT caramelization on top and once you broke through it led you to a custard. The only thing I would say that it could have had more of a creamy vanilla bean flavor for me, but other than that it was perfect. The service was excellent there, everyone was so professional. You were surrounded by so many people enjoying their company and most importantly, eating great food! We loved that we never had to ask for a refill, our server was very attentive! We would definitely come back and try something new!

Solid Italian restaurant in the Westlake Village area. Boccaccio's is located in the The Landing plaza in Westlake Village. My fiance and I went for an early Valentine's Day dinner. The sun was already down, but I imagine that the view of the lake would have been spectacular if we went during the day. For starters, we shared the Beef Carpaccio. For entrees, we ordered the Veal Oscar and the Striped Lobster Ravioli. The Carpaccio was surprisingly good, and it disappeared within 5 minutes of receiving it. We both enjoyed the Veal Oscar, but the Lobster Ravioli definitely stole the show. The cream sauce was delicious, and it paired well with the side of mashed potatoes that my fiance ordered. For dessert, we ordered the Baked Alaska, which rounded everything out. Overall, this was a good restaurant and experience, albeit a little pricey. I recommend going during the day, so you can experience the full view.

Had a great time, very accommodating services, great food, great view of the lake, watch the sunset. Staff Team very busy working and then removed all the umbrellas for sunset view very nice. A very busy but organized restaurant in well coodinated efforts by Staff to provide a very nice dinning experience would recommend them to others most definitely.

We went this past Sunday for brunch and really enjoyed most everything. Food was really good, I enjoyed the lemon chicken with capers, one of my favorite Italian dishes. It was very good, the chicken pounded and cut into 5 or 6 filets. It was bomb! The others had the eggs Benedict, the breakfast burrito sans meat, and an egg and salmon scramble. All were very good, the hit being the breakfast potatoes. They were perfectly crisp. Service was good, everyone was busting butt. It was crazy busy- make reservations. Ambiance was amazing. I booked this place based off location and good ratings. I had no idea that a large portion of the seating is outside- it was amazing. Well done with plenty of umbrellas to protect from the sun.

Our server Marie was fantastic, but so was everyone else. The gentleman who brought us water evened out the table before he set it down because he noticed it was unbalanced. Our food was top notch. Everyone loved their dishes, and my cousin who bought dinner for us loved it and wants to bring us back in a month to celebrate the new home he purchased. He let me taste the veal parmesan that he ordered, and I loved it so much that I want to get it next time we come back. I ordered the blackened shrimp with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes, and the burrata salad, which were both fresh and delicious. We'll be back!

It's disappointing that a Westlake Village restaurant with such a beautiful, fun atmosphere continues to fall short on food quality. We ordered the Fisherman's Salad, which was very poor--the salmon had an unpleasant smell and lacked flavor, and the salad included large, unripe chunks of tomato. My son ordered the cheeseburger, and the quality of the meat was extremely disappointing--honestly, fast-food burgers are better. The French fries were equally underwhelming and tasted like typical frozen supermarket fries. This was our sixth visit to Boccaccio's. While we keep coming back for the ambiance and prime location, the food has never impressed us. For such a great setting, we truly hope the restaurant will invest in improving the quality of its food. The three-star rating is solely due to the prime location and beautiful views.

Located on Westlake Lake(?) it overlooks the water and houses. Beautiful for a nice dinner to celebrate something special. The staff is pleasant and the drinks are amazing. Last time I was there the strawberry mint martini was Amazing!! The food is great and fresh. Highly recommend!

We took my mom here for her retirement dinner. We sat outside to watch the sunset and it was beautiful. We were worried about it being cold but they are prepared for those situations and had heating Lamps near the tables. The food was good! The scampi boccachio was good, the shrimp pieces were huge! It was a nice portion. 4/5 I ordered the linguini with clams in white sauce and Omgsh it was so filling and yummy! They are very generous with the clams!!! Absolutely loved it! The sauce wasn't overwhelming which was nice. 4/5 We also ordered the branzino which was one of their specials. My husband enjoyed it but he gives it a 3/5. The soup de jour / clam chowder was alright but I appreciate the generous amount of clams. We also ordered the blackberry sage margarita and the spiced sangria. I'm not really a fan of holiday drinks or "spiced" anything but it wasn't bad, although I would prefer a regular house sangria with no additional spices. The baked Alaska was a nice touch to celebrate my mom's retirement dinner. It was a lovely evening. We had a great server named Juan who made us feel welcomed as it was our first time here. Thanks Juan for the great vibes!

A day after ordering beef stroganoff I started experiencing symptoms of food poisoning and was sick for two days. Word to the wise....stay away!

A vendor and I have enjoyed terrific business lunches at Boccacio's. We dine in a gorgeous setting with exemplary service, and dine on a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price. Boccacio's also certainly does "date night" exceptionally well. We have had the poached salmon numerous times - a very generous portion and a perfectly executed dish. The salmon always tastes impeccably fresh and has a mild flavor. Their other entree salads also have a distinctive flavor profile, and the chicken's flavorful. The menu's inviting and inventive yet familiar with many timeless, classic dishes.

Friends and I always love the dining experience at Boccaccio's. The food is excellent as is the service, and the view of the lake can't be beat!

Arrived at dusk in time to see the last of the sun go down over the lake from our table outside overlooking the lake. Such a great place! The moon and stars and planets soon became visible. Wayne was a SUPERB classy waiter who was kind and sweet, knew the information we needed when asked, and efficient in getting our drinks and wonderful plates of deliciousness. We had two birthdays in our group and he made sure to make it extra special for us. It was a magical experience. The heat lamps above us really helped keep us warm throughout the meal. My New York Steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the delicious veggies it came with. My best friend got scampi, sis got a chopped wedge salad, and a friend got salmon and the others you can see the photos. Everyone had a lovely time and the surprise desserts that came were on fire with blue flames. Spectacular. A magical night for us all. My 90 year old mom was so happy!

We had two very different experiences at Boccaccio this month. Our first time, my wife enjoyed her Seafood Risotto and I really loved the rack of lamb; one of the best I ever had! Last week, however, we had the opposite experience; the Seafood Risotto was clumpy for some reason. I opted to try the Veal Parmigiana that I as inedible! The veal was overcooked and extremely salty. I felt bad as we were there for a birthday party so I didn't send it back. The service is always excellent, but the food was inconsistent.

So I've been here three times now and can confidently say, if you're here for anything other than a baby/bridal shower- just avoid it. It's rather mid and my last time here for a brunch with friends was rough to say the least. The hot tea we ordered came out and the water in the kettles was cold. I wish I was exaggerating but seriously it was cold. The food was bland and most items were plated in the most unappealing way, I wish I had taken a photo of my friends food. I don't think I would ever volunteer to come here, only showing up for the next obligatory shower event honestly.

Boccaccio's in Westlake Village is off the beaten path, less than 2 miles off the 101 Freeway. The shopping center that edges up against Westlake Lake is the perfect spot for lunch with a relaxing view. Despite being an 8 mile, man-made lake, the shoreline provides a serene vibe. The staff does a great job! The attentiveness of the team and service is what you would expect for the setting and price points. Its one of my lunch rotation spots in the area, so I've had a few items off the menu. I'll drop my list of favorites below. What to Order: The Chicken Picatta is at the top of my selections. Lemon, capers & parsley, served with linguini aglio e olio. The sauce is perfect! The Blackened Chicken Sandwich is more than a mouthful! Blackened chicken, Monterey jack cheese, tomato arugula & aioli. You can choose fries or a side salad. What to Drink: Wine, Beer, or a cocktail. The espresso martini is my favorite!

The food here is wonderful. Food is fast. However, what I disliked about experience yesterday, and how I would have handled the evening differently had I known... Yesterday was my husband and my 15 year anniversary. I put that on our reservation. I told the hostess. We were clearly dressed up. I know they do not take "lake side reservations" but seeing as it was our anniversary, I would have appreciated being placed closer to the lake. Instead, we were put in the walkway.. so I assumed nothing else could be done. As people who were in more casual clothes were placed next to us, they refused the table they were given, and requested to be put closer to the lake. They were of course accommodated, and with every moment passed I got more and more upset. Finally I asked if we could move, but the food came out so fast, it wasn't worth moving. They did give us a comped dessert for our anniversary, which was very nice, but we were just as much there for the ambiance as the food. My disappointment with our location overshadowed the experience. However the food was hot, fast, and excellent. If I could do yesterday over, I would have told the hostess... because it is our anniversary.. we will wait for a table as close to the lake as possible. I don't understand why they don't book the lake tables first, before the rest of the restaurant? Last night wasn't terribly busy. Most restaurants ask where you'd like to be seated and whether you would be willing to wait. I wish this restaurant would do the same.

We recently hosted our rehearsal dinner at Westlake Yacht Club in Southern California and couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. From the moment we booked through the day of the event, everything was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care -- especially by Stephanie, the event organizer. She went above and beyond to work with us and even adjusted event timing and logistics so we could have the perfect space for our dinner before the wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The patio in the back overlooks the water, and our guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the view was -- especially as the sun set. It truly created a memorable backdrop and set the tone for the night. We did a buffet-style dinner catered by Boccaccio's, and the food was phenomenal. Many guests raved about how amazing the steak and fish were, and the buffet offered a great variety that kept everyone happy and well fed. The drinks were expertly prepared and very well stocked, adding to the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the evening. With about 160 guests, we were a fairly large group -- and yet Stephanie and the entire staff made the whole night feel effortless and enjoyable. They were attentive without being intrusive and made sure everything ran smoothly. Multiple guests even said they felt like they had already been to our wedding just from the rehearsal dinner alone -- that's how special the night felt. If you're looking for a beautiful venue with terrific views, top-notch service, and great food for a rehearsal dinner or special event, we absolutely recommend Westlake Yacht Club!

Went here for a birthday, and was not impressed. The food itself was fine but very bland. I ordered the pasta primavera and every piece of broccoli had blackened rot at the end, they didn't bother to cut it off or use a fresh ingredient. One of our spoons had crusted on food, so we asked for a new clean one which never appeared. Our waiter also disappeared and we waited 20 minutes for the check. Once we got the check we waited 15 more for our waiter to get it, at which point I went to the host to ask if we could please just pay. She asked us to wait at the table for our waiter who came back 15 minutes later. Not impressed.

One of my fav places in town. I love the food and the ambiance. The view there is excellent.

Food was great; same level of quality that I expect from this restaurant. Ordered the lamb entree for lunch. Service was good. Because our reservation was before the lunch hour, we were able to snag a window table with a view of the lake. Overall, a nice Sunday lunch with the folks.

Excellent food in a beautiful setting. Great food and great service. I would highly recommend eating here as the quality is great and the prices are reasonable.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at Boccaccio's! Last Saturday August 9th, my 92-year-old grandmother lost a very special ring she's cherished for over 70 years. It held deep sentimental value to her and lots of memories and we feared it was gone forever. Just the other day, we received the incredible news that the ring had been found--thanks to the honesty and care of the wonderful staff at Boccaccio's, where we recently celebrated my daughter's baby shower. In a world where it's easy to lose faith, this was a beautiful reminder that there are still so many good, honest people out there. We are beyond grateful to the servers and team who went out of their way to return something so precious to us, who made sure this priceless memory found its way back to my grandmother. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! And did I mention that the food is excellent!

We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. So we all had a drink to begin with. The bread they gave you before the meal is absolutely delicious. It's sourdough.! it comes warm with butter. I got the little neck clams with linguine and it was absolutely delicious. my husband got the beef stroganoff which he enjoyed thoroughly. My girlfriend and her husband shared a ribeye with vegetables. They each enjoyed. They said it was very tasty. The service was slower than I would've liked, but it seemed like good food takes a long time. The ambience was beautiful because we were right near the lake such a beautiful setting and we watch the sunset.
