Bocconcino Phuket

As an Italian living in Phuket, Bocconcino is my regular escape back home. The food feels like a cheap flight straight to Italy — fresh pasta, authentic flavors, and that proper Italian touch you can’t fake. Service is always excellent, with Alessandro taking care of everything on the floor, and Chef Massimo consistently delivering delicious dishes from the kitchen. It’s the real deal — highly recommend.

By far the best Italian restaurant we have been to in Phuket! We were kindly greeted by the owner who seems very passionate and involved with the restaurant. Great selection of wines and proseccos at affordable prices, as well as so many mains, I counted at least 30! We had also ordered olives and they were as good if not better than the ones we had in both Italy and Spain. Definitely worth visiting!!

Good location restaurant. Once you finish your dinner, you can just pop by the night market. There are performances by the end of the street. The best oyster i had. Probably because it was freshly flown in that day and its so sweet. The service and owner very nice too. Other meat food are alright too. Enjoy!

I have been to many Italian restaurants around the world and I must say that this place serves the best, most authentic Italian food anywhere, including Italy. Its ingredients are flown over from Italy. It’s kitchen, and service area are manned by 2 Italians. It’s wine is also excellent, from Italy. We had burrata cheese salad , white truffle pasta, black truffle pasta and pizza …. It was really excellent. We highly recommend this place to people who appreciates genuine Italian food , cooked with great and fresh ingredients.

Really enjoyed our meal. We were greeted instantly and offered a seat outside or inside the restaurant Menu options Plenty of Italian favourites to choose from - pizza, antipasti , pastas and also grilled fish. We ordered the lasagna, tenderloin and tuna pizza and they were all delicious. Our photos don't do the food any justice as we were super hungry and tucked in immediately. Drinks were also spot on - can't go wrong with a pi t of peroni and an aperol spritz Service Helpful but not intrusive Ambience and view Very clean and the outdoor terrace is a pro as it had a beautiful view of the laguna We will definitely be back

The place has a nice exterior and interior, it was all well set up and the staff was not overly friendly but decent, starting off with the toilets, they were dirty, smelly and had about four lizards crawling around. The food was average. The Pizza had no salt in it whatsoever, the salad was bland and had no dressing, the fish was decent, the chicken was a 8/10. The bread was tasteless. The place has a lovely view. There is a variety of Cheeses and alcohol beverages. For some reason they didn’t accept our card and forced us to pay with cash.To finish it off I would like to recommend it but there are many other places which you could go to. The prices were okay. 👍

We were given the best table in the restaurant which was in the corner next to the lake. A perfect view of sunset and 3 courses each (6 courses in total) for 2000 baht. This was a promotion in found on Hungry Hub! You’ll be given a menu with instructions (how many dishes to choose from whichever section). 1. Caesar salad 2. Lamb ravioli with four cheeses 3. Milanese Chicken 4. Seafood spaghetti 5. Lamb shank 6. Grandmother’s meatballs The whole experience was spectacular and the food was top quality. We also received free desserts (meringue and chocolate balls) since all our courses were savory. We could’ve easily swapped 1 or 2 for dessert but we wanted to enjoy the main courses and the authenticity of Bocconcino. The staff were very attentive and well-humoured, the owner was also very welcoming and down to earth. There is an indoor or outdoor seating area depending on your preference of ambience, though if you choose to sit outside there are some mosquitos. Kindly ask the staff and they will bring a fan to you. There is classy dining experience available on Bocconcino’s boat, I’m not sure if punting will be involved but there is a table and chairs ready for reservation!
