Google
Wide selection of beans and great coffee! It was a curiosity for us since they sponsored the Madrid Aeropress Championship. Bought two of their roasts and can’t wait wait to sample them.

Google
One of the best speciality coffees in Madrid They offer filtered coffee such as V60 and espresso based coffee. It wasn’t busy at all when I went there. They also sell coffee beans. Would definitely recommend it

Google
We ordered a cappuccino and a latte and both tasted amazing and were pretty cheap for the size of the cup. The staff was super nice and welcoming and the shop is very cozy :) Only had coffee but next time we will definitely try the cakes as well!

Google
I was excited to try this coffee shop after reading other reviews. Ordered an oat milk flat white and was a tad disappointed. Went around midday and there was no other customers. I would like to try again in the future as the deserts looked delicious. Adding an extra star for the friendly barrista. Service was great!

Google
Great coffee, pastries were superb but the coffee was served boiling hot. Great place, will come back!

I needed to get freshroast coffee today and I am glad to find Bocono in Madrid. I bought a bag of kenya mild roasted coffee. Highly recommend 👌

Google
Stopped in on a Saturday morning for an oat milk cortado and slice of lemon cake to go. The guys behind the bar greeted me when I walked in and served me a massive slice of cake! Everything was clean and my order was ready in just a few minutes.

Google
It might be the best coffee I've ever had. The owner is friendly and passionate. Very recommended, especially the pink coffee. Unfortunately no vegan pastries

Yelp
The ambiance of the bar was super friendly and it is a great spot to meet up with friends. Not a great study/work spot though as they don't allow laptops in the cafe. I got my coffee with condense milk to go and it was a great drink to power through the day!

Yelp
Great place for specialty coffee. Cappuccino had a light flavor to it so not bold as I like it but still happy that I found a coffee place that had oat milk. It's called leche de avena. The place is extremely small so when it's crowded the coffee must be taken to go. Other than that great spot great staff

Yelp
Super hipster looking coffee place but I love it! The place is rather small but we were able to grab a table for two in the back. I got the breakfast platter which came with pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, coffee and juice. The little platter was so cute! Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The scrambled eggs were so fluffy and delicious as well! The coffee is strong but amazing and exactly what I needed after little sleep the night before. Would have liked more meat for the proportion of the platter but still a pretty solid and filling breakfast. Our waitress was also very delightful as well :) great breakfast before checking out the flea market !

Yelp
I was starting to get a little homesick until I came across Boconó on Yelp. The pictures and reviews made me feel like it offered a modern Spanish breakfast experience. After walking through El Rastro on Sunday morning, we made our way inside, picked up a menu, and waited to be seated. It has a rather informal seating arrangement. You let the host know you are waiting and he'll make sure everyone is accounted for. For a Sunday, this was a busy neighborhood so we waited about 15 minutes before being seated, maybe 10 minutes later our order was placed, and we waited patiently (or tried to at least). I had my eye on the Boconó Benedict and although it's listed as a lunch item, you can certainly order it for breakfast. One order is large enough for two, three if you're pushing it. But, everything just felt right and cozy. The Benedict had a soft boiled egg on top of a sweet corn base with cheese in the middle! It was then layered with a hollandaise type sauce and more cheese, and fresh avocados on the side. And of course, the classic jambon!

Yelp
Very friendly and charming, but food falls a little short. The poached egg was over cooked and entire dish was cold. Good espresso and fresh squeezed orange juice.

Yelp
The ambiance is very low-key/understated. When I first walked up I didn't see it immediately; but, once I did, the thing that stood out for me was the fact it was Very clean. We approached the counter and we greeted like a friend. Luckily (for us) the servers English was excellent. We order a (decaf) cappuccino, a bombon (coffee with sweetened condensed milk), regular croissant & a chocolate one... everything exceeded my expectations! I expected good, & what we go was great! I only have 5 days in Madrid, and even with all the options available for starting my day, I'm already planning to return before leaving the city. I definitely recommend Boconó without hesitation.

Yelp
Loved this place! Ambiance is awesome, food is great, service is really good and coffee deserves A+ in quality; a true coffee roaster. I highly recommend it! Me re gustó este lugar! El ambiente es increíble, la comida excelente, el servicio muy bueno y el café 100% de calidad; un verdadero tostador de café. Lo recomiendo!

Yelp
Very cute coffee place with yummy food. Staff was very nice and helpful even though we spoke no Spanish. The bagel benedict was delicious and the coffee was good. Would recommend for a quick and quiet breakfast/brunch spot!

Yelp
Delicious breakfast for your budget!! For 8 euro, you get a full breakfast of eggs, meat pancakes, coffee AND juice!!. Cafe is cozy, the waitstaff works hard and was very charming. Million de gracias!!

Yelp
Meh. Basic eggs. No pepper. No hot sauce. Bacon half raw. Most annoying..no computer usage allowed. So I used my phone There was a pepper mill but it was empty. Waitress took it away, didn't return it. Oh well

Yelp
Stopped by to get my day started. Great freshly made latte unlike the ones you get at Starbucks. Bagel eggs Benedict was great and huge actually. I couldn't finish it but it was delicious. The coffee shop is decent size and they have a restroom/toilet for their customers. Customer service was exceptional and they spoke English so it was convenient. They however do not have an outdoor seating, at least when I visited.

Yelp
Having best coffee in Madrid, eggs Benedict I'll dream about for hours and wish there would be place close to where I live to have them and service for which was surely the best I've seen in a long time. Easy 5*. Thank you!

Yelp
Very friendly but inexperienced staff. What they lack in experience they make up for in enthusiasm. We were the first customers of the day at 8:45 am. No breakfast pastries at all which was a disappointment. Coffee americano was good. The cook (partner) was late so no eggs for breakfast. We settled for toast covered in diced tomatoes and jamon (ham) drizzled in olive oil. Pretty good but sloppy. Over all a sweet little spot, just opened in January and the potential is there.

Yelp
While I prefer Hola over Boconó, I have to give them 5 stars for value. A latte and fresh OJ came out to only €4.90. There are plenty of seatings, even for big groups. The table next to me was a party of 8. Most of they bird wave coffee shops I've been to in Madrid so far have had limited seating with the exception of Boconó. The staff that day didn't speak English but a little Spanish and body language can go a long way. Come on Sunday and visit the super busy flea market.

Yelp
Tried this place the other day with friends and was very impressed with the food! The location is located in the La Latina area so it is very well located and is near many small shopping areas. The place itself has a very good ambiance and the staff is very attentive. I ordered the Americano, which I highly recommend. The dish came with scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, bacon, freshly orange juice, pancakes, and a cup of coffee. All of the food was great and the orange juice was to die for. For all that food I paid about 7 euros, which was a very good deal. 10/10 would recommend trying this place out if in the area and looking for great brunch food.

Yelp
Bocono was crtitial to starting our day in Madrid. The coffee is the best in the neighborhood and the staff is amazing. Super friendly, super helpful, and they have an all-around excellent vibe. We loved the cappuccinos and the avocado toast. I know. . Hippest. Don't care.

Yelp
I visited Madrid for 8 days recently and stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop. It is not a huge place, which makes for a nicer atmosphere. Tables and facilities were clean. The most important thing though is how cool the baristas are and how amazing the coffee is. I've worked in a coffee shop myself and was still amazed at the consistency of their coffee, in particular the lattes. I tried other coffees around the city and was let down by the size of their coffees and the quality. This resulted in me getting one to two lattes a day from Boconó. Where I was staying was nearby so I had to walk by it every morning. I could not help but get a coffee every time I walked by. I struggled to get WiFi there. But this just made me absorb my vacation and people watch and appreciate their coffee even that much more. Everything is very affordable and I also had one of their breakfast items that was out of this world. I am an eggs Benedict fan and their bagel Benedict was so delicious and was loaded with perfect avocado. They will be first on my list when I return to Madrid in the future.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING! The food is decently priced and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The environment is super cute and reminds me of hipster coffee shops in the US. EXCEPT, they serve AMAZING food!

Yelp
Great little coffee shop with yummy breakfast items! We had the "american" breakfast with pancakes eggs and bacon. Delicious and good change of pace for all the Spanish breakfast we have been having. The other options look delicious as well!
