Bod Gwynedd B&B

What a charming village this is, with this fantastic B&B! A lovely room with tea/coffee facilities and a bottle of water. It also has a nice bathroom. In the evening, you can easily walk into the village (there's a sidewalk, so it's safe) where you'll find numerous restaurants. The breakfast room is beautifully decorated, with beautiful glass art and artwork created by Jackie. The breakfast is delicious! Jackie gave us some great tips about hiking in Snowdonia. You can reserve a parking space at Pen-y-Pass online, but you can just as easily take the bus, which stops almost in front of the B&B. The bus leaves from the same side as the B&B, ask Jackie about departure times. For an additional £1 you can buy your return ticket. We hiked to the top of Mount Snowdon, taking the Pyg Track up and the Miner's Track down. It was a steep climb, but with the most beautiful weather in the world, it was truly enjoyable. There are even more hiking trails, and Jackie and Gary can give you excellent advice on them. We got another great tip from Jackie: behind the station (on the platform), turn right and cross the footbridge. Keep walking and you'll see an old little church, definitely worth a visit. The large church in the village is also worth a visit. It was wonderful to meet Jackie and Gary. We had a great stay and felt very welcome, thank you!

B&B is in a great location, plenty of restaurants around. Hosts Jackie and Gary were so welcoming and lovely. They accommodated for our early morning outings with breakfast sandwiches ready for us. Room size is good, beds are comfortable. |Highly recommend staying here to friends and family. |Not to far from Snowdonia , Gary and Jackie knows plenty about the areas and will give you advise on best ways to go etc..||Thank you for a great weekend.

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this lovely B&B. It is such a beautiful property in a gorgeous location. There is plenty of parking here. We used the late check in option which was really easy and had no issues. Our room was warm, clean and had everything we needed. We stayed here as a base while we explored the area and walked up Snowdon. Location wise this is perfect. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choices and cooked as you request. I cannot fault this place, we had to rearrange our stay once and the owner was very accommodating with this. You must stay here if you get the chance!!

We loved every moment of our stay at Bod Gwynedd. Jackie and Gary made us feel genuinely welcome and their extensive local knowledge ensured that we had plenty to do in the area. Breakfast was outstanding as top quality local products are used. Delicious! The warmth of their hospitality is second to none. We cannot wait to return!

Ideal location in center of all popular tourist attractions literally 30mins drive most to them if in car. Swallow falls local attraction walking distance and beautiful village with shops, art galleries & even pottery many places to eat for lunch and tea. The rooms in B&B are beautiful and the breakfast is extremely yummy. Very friendly couple who happy help plan your days with very useful information on places to go and see even gave advice on the days weather and we're best to go and that based on the weather. Would definitely be going again.

Great stay here for our climb up Snowdon. Only 15 mins away. Room & house was very clean. Breakfast was lovely. Jackie was the perfect host and always on hand for any questions or help we needed with anything. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We arrived early before our scheduled check in time and were met by Jackie who was very helpful and friendly. We were very pleased that our room was ready early and it was very comfortable, clean and quiet, with good facilities and even though we were on the front of the building near the road it was not that noisy and certaunly quiet enough after peak traffic times had passed for a good sleep. There is on and off street parking and we had no problems with this. Our hosts Gary and Jackie were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area, sharing with us plenty of holiday ideas and areas to visit, with many tips on how to maximise the enjoyment of our stay. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice, substantial portions, which were very well prepared and served and cooked to high standards. Bod Gymedd is well situated on the outskirts of Betws-y-Coed in a very peaceful area surrouded by lovely scenery with a steady 10 minute walk into the centre. Overall a very pleasant experience and great value for money in this very popular area. We would certainly stay here again.
