I love it when a place is exactly how it looks. Passed this place many times and it always looked like a nice place to go and had a good atmosphere Service was a+. The lady serving us was attentive and gave us the best table. The guy cooking the food was super friendly. Think his name was tony. We wasn't sure what to have so we ordered lots. The portions were massive and have some real flavour

We had no idea we’d find such a gem of a wine bar in Christchurch, what an absolute delight of an establishment. We only popped in for some wine and nibbles but we’re so glad we did. The atmosphere was great, the food looked amazing and the staff were delightful. We will be back as soon as we can.

The best bar in Christchurch. I have been a few times now and yesterday in a group of 14. Every dish was delicious, the service was fantastic. I can't fault it. Dawn was so helpful and generous from when I booked the table and all throughout the evening. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, but the food could be a lot better. I have been to a lot of tapas bars, but this does not rate as even average due to bad quality of ingredients. You cannot, for example, hide fatty, poor tasting chicken with little edible flesh under a rich sauce. Kitchen appears to be in the pub next door so the food arrives intermittently. It would have been nice to eat whilst my partner was eating. I do not foresee a second visit.

Service was impeccable: attentive, prompt, nothing was too much… all carried out with a smile and a great attitude… great atmosphere and delicious food…. Christchurch has a number of very good restaurants and bars, Bodega is up there with the best of them!

Came Saturday evening for a group meal. For a Saturday night surly most restaurants stock up in preparation for the busy weekends but sadly we weren’t able to order the octopus or prawn dish due to them running out, this was also early evening at 7:30pm. Food quality wasn’t great, bit disappointed. Atmosphere good and staff friendly although very slow. Can’t say I would recommend or return.

We came to Christchurch to celebrate a special occasion and chose Bodega for a special evening out and they did not disappoint! We had a brilliant night, the staff looked after us so well. The food was delicious and really authentic, Autumn made the most delicious cocktails and Dawn was overall the best person and looked after us so well all night. I hope to come back soon and in the meantime, we highly recommend the Bodega experience to all 😊

We walked into Bodega, and immediately loved it!! We hadn't booked so we quite happily sat at the bar, where the lovely barman made us feel so welcome!! The tapas was amazing, and l had Cava for the 1st time in years, which was delicious!! All the staff are so friendly and we cannot wait to come back. Maybe not too soon, as my husband loved the Rioja a little too much!!!
