Domingo Molina had my my favorite wines of all that i tasted while in cafayete! I did the 2nd tier tasting and it also comes with a sampling of the delicious goat cheese from the local farm (which is owned by one of the Brothers!) It’s a small and quiet area for the tasting but a great experience, highly recommend.

We came here without prior reservation and Juan greeted us warmly and gave us a degustacion of 4 wines, even though there are different options to choose from. We really enjoyed the quietness and beautiful views into The Valley and also they have great wines. Be prepared that the road going there is a bit rough.

At 6km and 15 minutes from center with car on the hils near cafayate. Trust the signs because google maps take you on different road near the bodega. the turistic signs are really good and they show the right direction. 2 wine wine category: Hermanos and Domingo Molina. first with fresh wines(not maturated in barique) and second put for a time in french barique. High quality wines. A nice panoramic and a road near Restaurant, Bodega and high class Piateli where you can eat a gourmet lunch after you tasted the wines of Domingo Molina. The desgustation cost 130 ars if you don't buy a bottle, they will say you at the end if you buy a bottle(the cheapest is 155 ars) it is not necessary anymore to pay the degustation.

Showed up on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and went on the winery tour for around 160 pesos per person. The tour was limited to showing us around the small winery and its vinification equipment and lasted around 20 minutes (not really informative). However, we did the tasting afterwards (complementary cheese was delicious!) and bought two bottles of wine (buying a bottle waives the tour fee). The M squared blend and tannat were our personal favorites.

Beautiful view and nice wines. We turned up without a reservation and you can just try wines from a machine with cheese - however the minimum spend of 8000 was a bit annoying. The staff spoke English but seemed very unmotivated and did not explain the wines in depth. The Yayochucha winery around the corner was much better.

Beautiful bodega a little further out of town producing wines towards the higher end of the spectrum in Cafayate area. Tastings range from ARS 250 - 300 depending on the line of wines you choose. Alongside the regional speciality, Torrontes, Domingo Molina does a variety of red blends across Malbec, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The standout of the five tastings however is the Yeta, a 100% Tannat, which delivers something a little different to the palate. The outdoor seating area is lovely and gives gorgeous views of the vineyard and landscape. Whilst the overall experience was good, the lack of discussion about the wines themselves, a tour of the winery to learn more about their process and any history about Domingo Molina took away from being at the bodega itself.

We had such a great time at their tasting. Lucas was our guide and he was extremely thorough. His English tour was very clear and very personable. Lucas gave us tips for the area and his personal favourite spots in the town. He made our experience better and the Bodega was very beautiful A must visit if you're in Cafayate, even for a day.

Spectacular wines. Simple presentation, in the most positive way possible. Really lovely experience.
