Very cool little stop off to test some wines and explore the deep history of these unbelievable vineyards! If you haven’t booked a tasting don’t worry you can pop in and try a glass or 2 of their wines…with a wonderful back drop of the unique shapes vineyards. Certainly one to tick off the Lanzarote bucket list! 🍷

Yesterday our family joined the tour. The guide Dario gave us a very informative introduction about the plantation and the brewery in the special circumstances. At the end he organized the wine tasting to enhance the understanding of the wines. Due to time pressure we had to leave during this session. He then let us taste the wines before the schedule, though we had no chance of shopping at the site. The wine is very delicious as well as the cheese which is offered at the wine tasting. A nice place if your are into your alcohol & wines. They also have a cafe next door & a souvenir shop. A popular tourist stop & a scenic vineyard so it is worth a visit. They have a huge amount of land & have been around for centuries so a lot of history. You may want to book the wine tasting if that's your thing!

Such a unique winery, as well as unique way of growing the grapes, on volcanic rocks. This is within the perimeter of a national park, which also adds to its special traits. Their wine is great, and you can learn more and visit the compounds with a guided tour worth all the money. If your guide is Gustavo, you’re in a for great treat on storytelling. You can also have a snack, drinks there and get yourself a stash of great wine to bring home.

Amazing place to visit and specially to learn about the wine process! Super interesting! I highly recommend to do the tour! We had a great experience and tasted 3 different types of wine from that winery! Don’t forget to book your tickets online in advance!

An interesting wine and vineyard tour with a relaxed atmosphere. The guide was friendly and informative (English tour at 2pm only), sharing both the history of the winery and the winemaking process in an engaging way. La Geria is a small winery, but rich in history and character, and the local wine tasting was a nice highlight

Visiting **La Geria** in Lanzarote was an incredible experience. The unique way they cultivate wine in such an arid, volcanic landscape is truly impressive — a perfect example of resilience and ingenuity. There’s something absolutely beautiful about the contrast between the black volcanic soil, the green vines, and the endless horizon. The **Malvasía wine** was exceptional — rich, aromatic, and full of character, perfectly reflecting the island’s volcanic essence. It’s a place that captures both the **beauty and spirit of Lanzarote**. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to any wine lover or traveler seeking something truly unique. 🍷🌋🍇

We really liked the two wines we tried here (dry white and dry rose), also very nice views from the terrace, you can admire the vineyards… but otherwise it felt extremely commercial, it was busy with tour buses. Good parking.
