Bodega La Geria

Amazing place to visit and specially to learn about the wine process! Super interesting! I highly recommend to do the tour! We had a great experience and tasted 3 different types of wine from that winery! Don’t forget to book your tickets online in advance!

Such a unique winery, as well as unique way of growing the grapes, on volcanic rocks. This is within the perimeter of a national park, which also adds to its special traits. Their wine is great, and you can learn more and visit the compounds with a guided tour worth all the money. If your guide is Gustavo, you’re in a for great treat on storytelling. You can also have a snack, drinks there and get yourself a stash of great wine to bring home.

Visiting **La Geria** in Lanzarote was an incredible experience. The unique way they cultivate wine in such an arid, volcanic landscape is truly impressive — a perfect example of resilience and ingenuity. There’s something absolutely beautiful about the contrast between the black volcanic soil, the green vines, and the endless horizon. The **Malvasía wine** was exceptional — rich, aromatic, and full of character, perfectly reflecting the island’s volcanic essence. It’s a place that captures both the **beauty and spirit of Lanzarote**. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to any wine lover or traveler seeking something truly unique. 🍷🌋🍇

An interesting wine and vineyard tour with a relaxed atmosphere. The guide was friendly and informative (English tour at 2pm only), sharing both the history of the winery and the winemaking process in an engaging way. La Geria is a small winery, but rich in history and character, and the local wine tasting was a nice highlight

The place is super beautiful and the wine was really rich. Tried a couple of wines and I highly recommend it!

Came here today on a buggy tour and to be honest, it was pretty boring. It’s a very interesting way of growing the grapes, and the coffee shop was OK. The gift shop was very large but it just didn’t particularly excite anyone in our group.

We really liked the two wines we tried here (dry white and dry rose), also very nice views from the terrace, you can admire the vineyards… but otherwise it felt extremely commercial, it was busy with tour buses. Good parking.

Shop for wines and plenty of varied souvenirs, toilets available downstairs, coach party was tasting a sweet or a dry wine. Selection of cakes and sandwiches , reasonable free parking.
