Very delicious and rich in flavor combination of tastes with a large selection of tapas. A very enjoyable gastronomical experience, however the small portions didn't completely satisfy my hunger. Calm evening atmosphere with a friendly staff who helped us with thoughtful recommendations.

Really nice Spanish bodega. We sat outside and it was a beautiful summers night. The service was good, fast and friendly. We ordered a variety of starters to share. The portions are not too big, just enough for two people. The menu had a good variety of selections and everything tasted really good. The wine was also delicious. Prices were also very very good for the quality and the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Google
The ambience is very unique and interesting. However, we wanted 40minutes just to order and then also for the food. The calamari were nice but I did not enjoy the paella, not spiced enough and it was a bit plain. Also I understand the tapas concept but for a tapas portion the prices were a bit high

Food wasn’t bad but not amazing. Steak was a bit chewy, polpo was too cold, mushrooms were good, gambas was overcooked. Overall not bad but couple things in the service was a bit questionable. First, you have to pay for bread, which is fine. They say they don’t charge for table set up, so they charge for bread. Which is completely fine. But then when I had to pay, the server asked if I wanted to add tip. I refused as I spent almost €100 per person which is already quite a lot, and I didn’t get any particularly memorable service other than receiving my food. When I refused to pay tip, the server visibly got disappointed and didn’t even greet me in the end. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to force tipping here and this unneccesarily made me feel bad at the end of my meal.

Google
A very false positive. The place in itself is very nice and quiet, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. There's nothing Spanish in the food. The Paella has salmon (hardly Spanish) along mussels, prawns, chicken and peas. Octopus a la Gallega was boiled, served in its water (!) with tiny pieces of potatoes in between (nothing to do with Pulpo a la Gallega). Patatas bravas were patatas but not bravas. Service was slow - one of us was served when the other had already finished. We were also asked verbally if we wanted to leave tips when the card machine was brought...

Google
Very good Spanish dishes, in a laidback atmosphere and with good wine pairings. Nice tapas experience to share with friends for a social evening. Service was friendly and prompt. Clear recommendation.

Google
We came here after craving croquettes from Spain. This restaurant did not disappoint. Extremely good food, quick service, and a quaint outdoor venue. A couple next to us had a mixup with their order and we overheard the waitress doing her best to make it right. Would highly recommend if in the mood of Spanish cuisine.

Enjoyed a lovely summer evening outside at this restaurant. The service was excellent, it has a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed our tapas choices: meat and cheese platter, sardines, squid, patatas bravas (which were particularly good), padron peppers and black pudding. Great place in a lovely setting.

Yelp
I was very happy to find a Spanish restaurant in Vienna! We were able to be seated without a reservation, which was nice since it was already pretty late. With such a large group, we ordered a variety of dishes, which included the patatas bravas, pan y tomate, meatballs in red sauce and garlic shrimp. Bodega also has a great wine selection. Overall, a nice change of food while in Vienna.

Yelp
I've been to this establishment twice over the last three years. The offerings are quite extensive. I would recommend the patatas bravas, the calamares a la plancha, the pescaditos fritos, and the chorizo a la riojana. All are solid offerings. While I enjoyed the food at this establishment, it did not stand out to me amongst the various tapas restaurants that I've been to around the world. While I can't really comment on how it compares to other tapas offerings in Vienna, I feel comfortable commenting on the service, which was superb. I would recommend making a reservation if you are looking to secure a space on a typically busy evening. A separate non-smoking space is also offered, which is much appreciated in a city where smoking is still allowed in restaurants. The property is also located right off Judenplatz, making it a great place to grab a bite to eat after some sightseeing and educational engagement at the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Yelp
Very good selections on tapas. Pimmento peppers were good. Albondigas, bacon wrapped dates and chicken livers were all very good. I like chicken livers sautéed or fried, but this was in gravy, not the best, but ok. Not many dessert options. Very good wines by the glass. Good service.

Yelp
The service in this place is out of the world..that's what made this 5 stars worthy..the tapas options of the usual potato bravas and chicken croquettes were very delicious and so was the main course option of mussels, scampi and clams in white sauce..definitely try this place if you have craving for authentic Spanish food!

Yelp
I was looking for a good place to mix things up and try something new. This restaurant is tucked away in a quaint part of the central first district, and what a gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed all of our tapas, and main course - spicy potatoes, seafood platter, shrimp with garlic, bread, aioli, etc were simple amazing. I will definitely look forward to visiting this restaurant again.

Yelp
For Vienna standards, this is a top notch tapas place. If you however have ventured outside of Vienna, you probably had a lot more authentic and more importantly innovative tapas experience. Here is the review of all of the dishes we had: - Gambas al Ajillo - very good! A solid 4 star dish. Made in olive oil with garlic and chili peppers for a slight kick. - Croquetas de Casera - good. 3.5 stars. A little stingy on cheese which would have improved this dish significantly. - Dátiles en Cubierta de Bacon - average. 3 stars at best. I had a lot of different variations of this particular dish all over the world and this one was probably the weakest attempt I have seen. The dates were really mushy. - Pan fried goat cheese with beef prosciutto, salad and chutney - good. Also 3.5 stars. The cheese could have been a little warmer and the chutney should have had more kick to it. The beef prosciutto was good. The little side salad was excellent - well seasoned with great dressing. The service was friendly and efficient and I also liked the atmosphere. Overall, if you desire something different in Vienna and want to deviate from the plethora of Austrian food, Bodega Marques will do.

Yelp
Liked this place a lot. Great atmosphere and space. Our waitress was great. We had a glass of wine which was corked and she changed it - no quibbles. Cant say that for a lot,of places Ive been to. Food was great for what we wanted. Its not cheap and you will get better tapas in your life but the whole experience was great and get my 4 stars. There are two rooms in this cellar area one non-smoking but the nicer one is smoking. We toughed it out in there.

Yelp
The food at this lovely Spanish restaurant was really good. Service was excellent. There is a bar and a totally separate restaurant area. My only problem was I thought the choice of meat tapas wasn't very big. Most tapas restaurant blah r at least 10 choices of meat/veg/chicken/ but there were only 4 or 5 choices. Other than that it was good and if early enough, kids are ok in here as well.

Yelp
Wow, what an amazing meal! From the wine to the dessert it was epic. Everything we ordered was so delicious!

Yelp
Great spot for dinner with ample outside seating. Get a reservation 24 hours in advance if you are able. Solid service, and very good food. It's on a quiet street close to music halls and along the horse carriage route. Very romantic location.

Yelp
Really awesome place! The food was all around really excellent. Nothing too unique, but it was definitely a good change of pace from traditional foods, and Bodega Marques did serve a good variety of foods (vegetarian options, good meats, nice Spanish cheese selection). We also loved the house white wine. While we were disappointed to not be able to dine outdoors, the inside seating was good. Service was just okay, but the 3 waiters (they were probably short at least a guy) were constantly working hard to serve all their tables. One of the waiters even ran about 3 blocks to catch up with us and return our backpack. Would recommend!

Yelp
Had an excellent tapas dinner here with a great bottle of wine - definitely a hidden treasure in Vienna's district one. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Visiting Vienna and blundering around town, we found this highly rated gem on Yelp and were not disappointed. The Duchess and I enjoyed every single small plate we tried. Wine was excellent and a particular bottle caught our fancy so we were allowed to buy two bottles at a 30% discount! Let's bring that concept to the U.S. If you're looking for a real meal beyond the tourist circuit in Vienna, don't miss it. Outdoor dining option plus hermetically sealed indoor non-smoking option.

Yelp
New to Vienna and wanted to try something different than the normal Austrian fare. The tapas was simply terrific. We enjoyed the cheese plate, meatballs, grilled veggies, bread and cheese/Serrano ham croquettes. Each dish was very tasty. What a great alternative to schnitzel. Service was attentive, professional and polite. They also were kind enough to work with my less than stellar German. The restaurant is located in the area of a quaint Square in Judenplatz. Outdoor seating was a nice touch on a beautiful evening.
