Food wasn’t bad but not amazing. Steak was a bit chewy, polpo was too cold, mushrooms were good, gambas was overcooked. Overall not bad but couple things in the service was a bit questionable.
First, you have to pay for bread, which is fine. They say they don’t charge for table set up, so they charge for bread. Which is completely fine.
But then when I had to pay, the server asked if I wanted to add tip. I refused as I spent almost €100 per person which is already quite a lot, and I didn’t get any particularly memorable service other than receiving my food. When I refused to pay tip, the server visibly got disappointed and didn’t even greet me in the end. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to force tipping here and this unneccesarily made me feel bad at the end of my meal.
