Cafayate in Argentina Is the Wine Town You Need to Visit Now - AFAR

"A conveniently close winery that offers vineyard and cellar tours and tastings showcasing local varietals such as malbec, tannat, and torrontés, making it an easy stop for a short, informative tasting experience." - Ari Bendersky

Sept.25: we needed to go twice, as tasting would again start @3PM & wasn't possible when we arrived @Nanni around 1.30PM. As we came back, we could choose between 3 wines for ARS4.000 or 5 wines with 1 reserva in it for ARS8.000. We already drank quite some wine this morning @another tasting, we decided to do only the 3 wine option. 2 white Torontes & 1 red Malbec, none of them could strike us, too dry. We probably had chosen the wrong option. However the service, location & inner court yard garden were excellent. Our server spoke unfortunately only Spanish

Excellent lunch and incredible value for Argentina. Great to find plentiful vegetable options and a lentil salad. Steak was cooked nicely in a tasty wine sauce. Above all the service very charming and helpful, English spoken.

Nanni definitely has the best ambiance of the bodegas in town - it has a lovely courtyard where you can sit and enjoy your wine as well as a restaurant that is supposed to be good but i did not try. The tasting was nice but the wines weren’t my personal favorite. They are quite light and dry and i like a more full bodied wine - but depends what you are looking for!

Amazing bodega in the city of Cafayate. Great wines and very good value for money. The lunch menu is exquisite and the wine pairing is sensational. Great atmosphere and good service! We had a lovely afternoon!

We stopped in for a quick wine tasting. Cash only and we didn't have enough for two, but the lovely woman let us share one - it was great, if quick! Great place to enjoy the wine with a nice garden you can wonder around.

Upon arrival, we were thrilled with the stylishly decorated interior, very pleasant service by Monika, and excellent wine. However, the resulting impression was spoiled by the fact that even after 3 hours of waiting, the ordered dish - risotto with Malbec - was not delivered! Hopefully this review will be useful to the owner and he will take appropriate measures so that other customers do not experience such disappointment.

Place is nice and small, we did not get a tour, but paid 500 pesos and tasted 5 wines, 4 reds and 1 Torrontes. We were in and out in 6 minutes.
