Bodega Ridge

We visited Bodega Ridge for a weekend getaway and to check out the wedding venue. They had our cabin available a few hours early and texted us to let us know, which was great because our ferry arrived at 10am. We had an amazing lunch at the Pink Geranium. During our venue site tour, Jesse (the owner) drew us a hand drawn map of where to find the sea lions. It was a 12km hike with beautiful views and we found them! We also saw eagles, seals, and deer. We had dinner at Lola and we were blown away by the food. After dinner we made a fire in our cabin. The cove cabins are small but have everything you need and are so chic. The heated floors in the bathroom, full coverage blinds, and the fireplace were really nice touches. The remote setting was my favorite part, but I will say to future guests: bring some food or snacks if you think you’ll want an early morning breakfast or late night snack and don’t forget any essentials. There’s not much around!

We loved our stay at Bodega Cove. It's in a quiet area of the Island and was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable and make meals. The view was lovely and we enjoyed swimming at the little beach across the road. Our favourite was the Pink Geranium cafe just a couple minutes walk away for coffee, pastries and yummy sandwiches, as well as supplies and snacks for our stay at the cabin. Will definitely come back!

Bodega Ridge is an absolutely stunning West Coast wedding destination with panoramic ocean views, cozy cabins, and beautiful ceremony and reception spots that feel like a natural extension of the landscape. Photographing a wedding here was an absolute joy. Every angle has the most breathtaking backdrop, and the staff were so accommodating. It’s a dream location for couples who want nature, comfort, privacy, and a relaxed reception under the open sky!

I had previously stayed at Bodega Ridge a couple of times, but this time we required smaller accommodations. We decided to try Bodega Cove and were very pleased with our choice. The place is beautifully situated in a forest grove, a short walk to shore access and the little jewel that is the Pink Geranium. A wonderful spot to relax and unwind for a few days. Wish we could have stayed longer! Housekeeping Manager Saje was very welcoming.

Went to a family wedding at Bodega. Beautiful venue, staff were friendly and almost invisible. It was a magical experience for the newlyweds. We rented the log cabin and the beds were comfortable, house was clean and we had everything we needed. Was nice they sent us the code and we could just make ourselves at home when we got there. Awesome venue for a destination wedding.

The food was beyond excellent! The friendly, helpful staff were amazing and so attentive to the needs of our big group. The site is stunning with natural beauty surrounding all the main buildings and cabins. The cabins are rustic but well appointed. No AC, no tv but we didn’t even miss it. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was small but manageable. The cabin (#2) @ Bodega Cove and all the other cabins in Bodega Cove have lovely, large decks with a partial canopy covering. Great for morning yoga!

We were extremely disappointed with our experience with Bodega Resort. We booked several cabins for an event and confirmed twice with their events team that the booking was ours. Weeks later, the resort suddenly cancelled our reservations, as they had booked a different event. Communication started out great but quickly became unprofessional, and extremely frustrating. Very disappointing experience.

The cabins were comfortable and roomy and came with a small kitchen. The meal service was top notch. There was a blend of Western and Asian cuisine and all very tasty, kudos to the chef for the versatile, multicultural and delicious menu!
