This was our first introduction to Sherry, and was excellent. Our guide explained the complex process of turning wine into sherry, whether through biologic or oxidative processes, the solera system, and the different varieties (Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso, ... PX). A tasting afterward was quite helpful in tuning into our favorites -- to drink alone, or with food. A small place, rather then a giant corporation, made this a more intimate experience than internationally-famous brands. The price of the tour was a bargain.
