Bodegas Gutiérrez Colosía

This is a lovely family owned bodega. The tour is very informative. Some reviews mention it is short, it is a small winery (there are no corporate marketing videos to watch!), and it takes around 30-40 mins, all in a the area of the bodega. The tasting after the basic tour is six sherries, with a few nibbles, not meant to be tapas, just crisps/nuts (unless you have booked the tour with actual matching sherry and tapas). Our guide's English was excellent. My only suggestion would be to add some water with the tasting. The price is commensurate with the quality and size of the bodega, guides, and sherries. The small shop offers the option to buy some of the sherries, glasses and a few other bits after the tour. The two staff members we met were friendly and helpful. Very worthwhile, and in addition the sherries are excellent quality.

One of the most informative tours I have ever been on. Our guide, Inma, was a delight, able to answer any questions we threw at her, in excellent English. And the tour is extremely good value. €15 for about 90 minutes, ending with a tasting of six different sherries, and three different different vinegars. We loved it. Highly recommended.

Great bodega to learn all about the production of Sherry. Easy to catch the catamaran / ferry from Cadiz €2.90 each way. Check times before you set out. Outgoing was cancelled so was a coach replacement, But effective service.

Excellent visit, small group of 7, the guide was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. Her English was excellent. Really good explanation of the Sherry making process followed by a tasting of 6 Sherry's, from the dryest to the sweetest with guidance on paring with food. Ended up with 4 different bottles which were my taste and a reserve Sherry vinegar. Highly recommended

We just have done tour with a tasting. Tour is ok and informativ - the tasting in the restaurant next door is nearly a no go. Seems like there are coming buses every hour with 20 tourist for a tasting. So it’s not a nice atmosphere. I would not recommend it to other. It’s sad, that they don’t do the tasing in the bodega.

My absolute favorite Sherry bodega located at el Puerto de Santa María. BGC is a small but fine bodega. Entrace is 32euros p/p including a guided tour through the warehouse followed by the presentation of six wines including a variety of tapas in their own restaurant. We enjoyed the friendly service and the excellent products. Very recommendable

Very good place for winery visit and wine tasting ! We went there with an appointment and were welcomed by a guide. She explained us in detail the history of this winery, it's owners and types of wines being aged there. This place is infact a historical winery. Wine tasting was super fun ! Every one visiting Puerto de Santa Maria should visit this winery. They also sell wines here and it's much cheaper than available in wine shops.

By far the best Bodegas tour I have been on! I learned so much about the history of Sherry, which I loved! Palma was an amazing tour guide, and spoke perfect English! I highly recommend a tour for anyone that is nearby!
