A very pleasant place. You can taste local specialties. The restaurant looks great, and the decor is truly authentic. Although there was no music, the place still had a great atmosphere. We arrived by bike and scooter. The waiter was very kind and offered to store our vehicles in the warehouse. On Saturday evenings, I think it’s worth reserving a table. Fast and accurate service with fair prices. We will definitely return.

After living in the city for almost 35 years, finally decided to dine at this highly recommended establishment. The food was delicious and at a great price. Missed out on being able to eat here over all these years 😫 Will have to return more often and will post some pictures next time.

A great place to visit in Las Palmas when in Gran Canaria. We found it by chance and it was very good. The fried cheese made with local cheese was great! They put fries and salad in every dish. I Recommend the broken eggs. The place looks nice and local and the beer is good

We visited on our first night in GC and made sure to come back before leaving! Good tapas at reasonable prices and also yummy desserts. The place is packed with tourists and locals too, always a line up during peak times. Loved the "old bodega" ambiance!

Google
Awful experience. Staff made us stand in the middle of the restaurant for five minutes before offering service. We were then asked if we had a booking, as we did not, we were asked to sit outside, on wet tables at the edge of the square. Meanwhile the inside was empty with no visible reserve signs. I rated food a 3 as we did not stay to eat.

Removing two stars for the lack of alcohol free cocktails (they only had coke, fanta etc- i.e. the boring and unhealthy options) and for the bread crumbs on our table when we arrived. The food was good. We ordered full portions of everything and shared. The dishes were really big and we even had some leftovers to go. Pimientos de padron were great, papas arrugadas were ok with the red sauce being delicious, fried cheese came in with some sweet sauce so it was interesting to try and tacos de pollo were nothing to write home about.

Dropped in whilst visiting the nearby aquarium. It's on a bit of a back street but well worth searching out. Got an old school vibe to the decor. Food is great though. 2 of our party are gluten intolerant and one of the owner's family is coeliac and so they do gluten free option of all their dishes. Tuna and garlic prawns were really fresh, croquettes were great, cheese was amazing. Local wine was nice and surprisingly cheap. Best of all for us gluten free types is the baguette type bread they serve is amazing.

Yelp
I really, really loved this place. It was the most authentic place I found right off of the beach ! The mojitos were only 4 bucks and you could see them using Havana ! Which is always a fail when not used in a proper mojito. The tapas was delicious ! Loved the mushroom And Jamon. What a beautiful staff too that spoke both English and Spanish ! I was happy !!! The owner was so polite and really made me feel I was having a one of one experience. Great place to see locals going about !

Yelp
We have been coming to Las Palmas twice a year for the last five years. After trying a lot of different restaurants in the Las Canteras area, Bodegon el Biberon stood out as one of the best that we found. The restaurant interior feels really traditional in an authentic way. The food has always been amazing. And the ladies and gentlemen who work there have always made us feel very welcome, despite us speaking hardly any Spanish. On our various holidays we have been to Bodegon about 3 or 4 times per trip. I would say that we are friendly, quiet and polite and thank the servers when anything is brought to the table. We usually tip around 15%, but have tipped more because it is such a lovely place. However, on our most recent trip to Las Palmas, things dramatically changed. We chose to visit Bodegon el Biberon on the evening that we arrived. Several of the usual staff were present but a young male server, who we had never seen before, was assigned to our table. It became very obvious, very quickly, that there was something about us that he did not like. He had a very abrupt manner, made no attempt to be friendly, or even smile, and almost threw the plates of food on the table. We observed him interacting in a friendly, chatty way with other clients. When we tried to attract his attention to order additional items and then eventually pay the bill, he seemed to be intentionally ignoring us. Having both worked in shops and had to deal with rude members of the general public, we assumed he was having a bad night, settled our bill, left a 15% tip (as the food and the other members of staff are always great) and left. My wife was really upset by this change of attitude at probably our favourite restaurant. We avoided going back to Bodegon for the rest of our visit. My wife did not want to return. But I persuaded her on our very last night to go back to the restaurant. Unfortunately, we were waited on by the same young guy. And despite our efforts to be extra friendly he was, unbelievably, even more rude than at the start of the week. We ate the three dishes and drank the beers that we ordered. We would have ordered more food and drink, but we could not stand his attitude any longer. I paid the bill and for the very first time, left no tip at all. Over the years we have been coming to this restaurant, we must have spent well over €1000. Maybe his attitude was down to our lack of speaking the Spanish language? Maybe it was our nationality? Maybe it was our ethnicity? But we are always polite and friendly. And we have had no previous issue at this restaurant. The management need to understand that one bad member of staff could completely ruin years of future business of a great establishment like Bodegon el Biberon. We are already booked for another trip to Las Palmas in 2024. But I don't think we will be going back to our favourite restaurant. What a shame! Show less

Yelp
Great little side place. Nice basic tapas with the fish, a frozen filet breaded patty, not bad for what it was, the least of the offerings. Also there was some fresh tools that were outstanding and packaged rolls that were hard as rocks, not worth the effort to open the wrapper and the reason it is not a 5 Star. The blood sausage was outstanding as well as the garlic shrimp and Spanish chorizo, all excellent. A good local Pilsner called Cerveza de Tropical was the beer offering, well paired! Good fast helpful service and just 4 blocks from the peer. Definitely drop in and sit a while. Loved it.

Yelp
Good food, nice staff and fast service. Low key place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Stay until late and if you're lucky the staff will have a smoke with you inside while they're closing. ;)

Yelp
A very 'local' restaurant. Most of customers were locals which speaks volumes in favour of the ambience and the quality of the food. Great place to go but recommend booking to secure table

Yelp
This restaurant looks really rustic wooden tables and stools to sit on but don't be put off. The food was fantastic, the staff really attentive, the service great. Highly recommended
