This is a unique gem in South baltimore! The food is excellent and reasonable. You will not be disappointed. I ate from this place 4 times in one week. I tried many dishes, and all were great! All the appetizers taste excellent. I will surely be back again. The drinks are great too and costumer service is great too.

This is an exceptional restaurant! First their decor is cozy and quaint and they have an amazing backyard patio that is worth sitting in during the summer months and feel like you’re in Thailand! They also have a great affordable menu that has a lot of Vegan options for those vegetarians and their cocktails are delicious and affordable. I got the chicken kra pow and it was spicy as heck and delicious. It reminded of the street of Bangkok! I’ll be back again!

We were lucky to find this beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and good food on a night when we could only head to dinner late, and this place would be one of the few that would be open. The atmosphere of the restaurant is magical, it's a great spot for a date!

The interior of this restaurant is beautiful. It’s a warm and magical atmosphere with great lighting, involvement of plants and unique fixtures. They have a nice courtyard in the back with a patio and lots of plants. The service was kind and well timed. The food was also delicious. The Tom yum fried rice was a particularly nice twist!

Whether you choose the immaculately decorated indoor dining or the beautiful back patio, you're in for a good time at Bodhi. Get yourself a build-your-own curry or noodle dish for your main get ready to enjoy the best Thai food Baltimore has to offer.

Our server was very kind which matched the ambiance of the place- cozy and chic. The tom kha soup was perfectly spicy, and previously I’ve had it where it’s a bit creamier but this one is slightly thinner broth. For our mains, we ordered the basil fried rice and the drunken noodle. Absolutely delicious… the noodles were the softest consistency and the spice level elevated the dish, not overpowered it! The rice was hot and crispy! I would definitely recommend you stop by and taste all the options!

I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant, which unfortunately left me feeling quite disappointed. While the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and the service provided by the waitress was friendly, the quality of the food I received did not meet my expectations. I had ordered the barbecue chicken and rice from your menu, and I regret to inform you that the chicken was served raw, accompanied by a side of barbecue sauce with Parmesan cheese, which was not listed on the menu. Furthermore, the rice was presented in a container, and upon pouring it onto the plate, I discovered that it had been stuck to a plastic bag, causing some of the plastic to rip off and mix with the rice. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the waitress, I decided to give another dish a try and ordered the fried duck with sticky rice. Unfortunately, the fried duck was not fully cooked and the marinade accompanying the sticky rice did not complement the dish well. I must express my deep disappointment with the overall dining experience at your establishment. Regrettably, I will not be returning to dine at your restaurant in the future. I feel compelled to advise others to exercise caution when ordering the barbecue chicken and rice from your menu, based on my personal experience tonight. I believe that constructive feedback is valuable for any business's growth and improvement, and I trust that you will take this feedback into consideration to enhance the quality of your offerings in the future. Thank you for taking the time to read about my experience. I sincerely hope that this feedback will be beneficial in maintaining the high standards that patrons expect from your esteemed restaurant.

Yelp
Had a great time dining at Bodhi last night! I love sitting at the table by the window, so picturesque and cozy! The decor is beautiful! We tried the sake mojito, which I've never heard of before, and they were so yummy. I ordered the pad veggie with tofu this time- it was flavorful, but not too heavy. Service was good, but at times I wish they would have come back a bit faster. Overall I had a lovely time and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Fabulous ambiance , amazing flavorful Thai Food. I'm pretty picky about my Thai Food and let me tell you Bodhi , bodied it. My Thai Fix was definitely filled here. From the time I walked in the door I knew I was going to have an amazing experience. The food took a while, about an hour to be exact , but once I tasted my dish it was all worth it. I give them 5 stars regardless of the wait and even my food not being cold when it came out lol they get a pass lol The ambiance was absolutely beautiful, made me feel like I was transported right to Thailand. Our host Samantha was so sweet and our server Noon was great, so nice , so patient , and accommodating. I love it here. Even the bathrooms were beautiful, clean , decorated. Lots of greenery, beautiful plants and hanging lights . So chic. They opened up the patio just for us despite it being closed. And the playlist on the patio was so jazzy and smooth. Super sexy lol I ordered the Panang Curry with shrimp, crispy pork Belly, added basil and extra lime ... rice noodles on the side . It was ridiculously delicious. My taste buds were buzzing. You get a chance to control your spice levels , I enjoyed all the spice and curry flavors. I cannot wait to come back here . What a Gem!

Yelp
Listen I normally don't do 5 stars but THIS IS WORTH It. I am currently under the weather and only craving noodles even though it's 80 degrees in Baltimore and yall bondhi might be my new favorite spot for noodz Bondhi is located in federal hill not too far from cross street market and serve authentic Thai food. I normally get drunken noodles but decided to try the kao soi which is a curry based noodle soup. The curry mixed with coconut milk adds a nice sweetness and helps with the spice of the food. My food wasn't spicy but It did increase my body temperature. It was so addicting that I couldn't stop. I will be back!

Yelp
There is only street parking for this location, may the odds be in your favor. It is a small restaurant with a bar and a back patio area which gives a chill vibe. We were seated quickly. The server was efficient but not friendly and didn't check on us often. We tried the crispy green sticks I enjoyed them but my husband felt they were too peppery. We tried the chive dumpling and neither one of us liked them. I loved my panang curry at medium spice - the flavor was excellent and the heat level was good. My husband really enjoyed his pad veggies with chicken. We were both happy with our meals. The patio area is cute for a date night.
google avatar

Yelp
Bodhi Federal Hill is an intimate Thai restaurant serving a wide variety of authentic noodles, curry, and rice dishes. I highly recommend you try their khao soy! The khao soy curry is slightly sweet and very aromatic with two types of egg noodles. This gem is perfect for family and friends and date night!

Yelp
AMAZING! Best Thai I've had in Baltimore so far!! Got the drunken noodles and teriyaki chicken and tbh this may have been the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had (and it's homemade!)! Service was super fast which was great for takeout! I've heard it's also super cute to eat there too! Already can't wait to go in person!!
google avatar

Yelp
Even after trying most of the Thai in northern Virginia and all over DC - Bodhi is probably the best Thai I've had in the DMV (if Baltimore is considered part of the DMV). The cripsty Bodhi "bags" were great appetizers, and their curry was flavorful but not overbearingly sweet or fatty. The cherry on top, was that their service was top notch.

Yelp
Came here this afternoon with my mentors and I definitely enjoyed it!! I've been looking for a bomb Thai spot here in Baltimore, and this is definitely it! Coming in, we were greeted with such amazing staff who were super kind and gave us a walkthrough of the restaurant, from inside to the patio. We were able to sit at the patio and enjoy the beautiful sun. I first ordered a pomegranate sake martini and i must say---yes... order it lol! I ordered the Thai fried rice for the entree. And while I must say, the wait time was really long, it was definitely worth it! It was cooked to perfection, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Will definitely come back again to try more dishes! Both my mentors enjoyed their food and I can't wait to bring more people next time!

Yelp
My friends and I visited Bodhi on a Thursday evening, and it was relatively empty when we arrived. We made prior reservations since we were a group of 8. I ordered the Panang curry with beef with iced Thai tea. The beef portions were generous, and the curry and Thai tea were both delightfully flavorful. The rice portion was somewhat small for the amount of curry provided, but that's not a bad problem to have since the curry is delicious with or without rice. The ambiance was great for a nighttime dinner hangout with friends, and service was prompt and friendly. Definitely will come back when I stop by Baltimore again!
google avatar

Bronwen K.

Yelp
Prices, service, atmosphere, and food all excellent! Would go back anytime! Not pictured are the vegetable summer rolls which don't sound all that thrilling on the menu but they were delicious. Kanom Jeeb and papaya salad both delish! Crabmeat fried rice had lots of crab! Mango sticky rice is not to be missed!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this Baltimore Thai food staple! We ordered soup and two dishes and were full when we left! The Pad See Ew was delicious. We devoured it. Lots of sauce on the noodles which is a must. I ordered the Ba Mee to be different and was shocked by how spicy it was. There were no peppers next to it on the menu, but my mouth was on fire. I thought there was a mistake, but the waitress didn't come over near us until we flagged her down for the bill, so there wasn't an opportunity to ask about it. Luckily, my fiance liked it, so we just traded meals. The second time we came here we ordered the Pad Thai, a spicy beef dish, and the rice special Tum Yum Fried Rice. Everything was good and we would order it again!

Yelp
Bodhi, the renowned Thai restaurant in Federal Hill, has gained popularity among the locals and received positive reviews from many. However, my experience was not match this high standard. Food: I had a mix of highs and lows, with some dishes exceeding my expectations while others fell short. The appetizers stood out the most and left a lasting impression on me. The veggie spring rolls were exceptional - three crispy and hot rolls, perfectly seasoned and filled with just the right amount of filling. The curry puff, another vegetarian option, had a spicy curry filling that burst with flavor and was steaming hot when I bit into it. Pour the sauce inside the puff to add a touch of sweetness to every bite. The chive dumplings, are my absolute favorite - four pieces of crunchy and chewy dumplings, with a rich, savory flavor that lingered on my tastebuds. When dipped into the sauce, the umami flavor brought out the best in the dumplings, making them even more delectable. However, for my main course, the chicken drunken noodles, did not meet my expectations. It was too greasy, and the chicken was overcooked. The meal ended on a high note with the mango sticky rice, which was the perfect way to conclude the culinary experience. Service: Upon arriving at the restaurant, I faced some issues with the service. Despite having a reservation, I was not greeted by any of the servers who walked past me. Eventually, I had to flag down a server to inquire about my reservation. Once I was escorted to the private room, my server was friendly and offered me water while I waited for my party to arrive. Our server was helpful in assisting us with what to order (it took 30 minutes to decide.) However, since the back room is isolated from the rest of the resturant, it was difficult to get the server's attention. This is something that the restaurant can improve upon. In the future, I would prefer to sit in the main dining area. Additionally, during my visit, I was accused of dining and dashing, which was quite embarrassing. A server ran after me and my friends as we were leaving, demanding I pay for my meal. After I explained I paid in cash and left it on the table she apologized and wished us a good evening. This killed my positive vibe. Ambiance: On a positive note: The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and the winter decor just adds a touch of warmth. It's the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful evening. Overall: I had a couple of bad experiences at this restaurant. The appetizers and desserts are good, but the drunken noodles are too oily. After eating here, I became sick the next day. Additionally, a server chased me down the street and accused me of not paying my bill. One bright spot: the dining areas are nice. I believe Bodih can improve its service and communication with customers. For this reason, I will not be returning to this establishment anytime soon.

Yelp
Trying to search for a good thai food in the area and saw alot of good review in this spot. We were in town for a wedding and it was a hectic Saturday night. Raining hard and was super hungry. I decided to try this thai restaurant. We order alot of dishes that was familiar. Crispy tofu, thai basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, pad thai, son tum and tom yum soup and thai tea. All the food was very flavorful! My favorite was the both the friends rice. Thai tea was a bit extra sweet. But overall, food was delicious. Fast service and nice ambience! It was a very busy spot in downtown.

Yelp
Ordered delivery. Everything was delicious especially the Khao Soi. Would not order the pad veggies again - the dish was fine but could have used more flavor.

Yelp
went here with a friend and got seated right away. ordered the tom yum fried rice, chive dumplings, and chicken and veggies. the fried rice was very crisp and i've never had tom yum flavored fried rice. the thai iced tea was really good too and a good amount of sweetness with coconut milk. our servers were really attentive and the food came out fast. the only grip i had was street parking around the restaurant is difficult. overall, i would recommend this place for some yummy thai food!

Yelp
This place is delicious! This is a Federal Hill gem. The Thai food is authentic. The Shrimp Yellow Curry didn't disappoint. Every bite was flavorful. The service was great. The waiter was very knowledgeable, and his recommendation hit the spot. The ambiance was anak beatific. We sat outside on this beatific day. If you like Thai you will love this place.

Yelp
I had some friends visiting last weekend, so I decided to take them here for dinner and it did not disappoint. I was thankful to get my delicious lychee martini and try some more things off the menu. Once again, I did do a reservation which I always recommend because this is a very popular spot and truly some of the best Thai food I've had. We started off with the crispy green sticks again, which are always great, and got to try the shrimp roll, which was just so crispy, and the pineapple sauce was the perfect amount of sweetness to cut through the shrimp. For entrées, we did the Panang curry which is a classic, so delicious. The Pad Thai with chicken was also a great choice. It was nice to see that the entrées were of decent size and could be shared easily with the table. Service with Sasi was amazing per usual and we had a great dinner. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer so we can sit outside!

Yelp
Came here for the first time having heard good things from a friend about it. Ambiance: It's a cozy restaurant offer a peaceful atmosphere to relax in. Service: Very friendly staff, answers questions about menu well, and attentive to guests. Food: - Vegetarian kao soi with tofu: The kao soi had a creamy coconut milk-based yellow curry broth, crispy noodles, and a variety of vegetables. It was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors and spices. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are perfectly cooked to give just the right texture. The addition of fresh veggies like bean sprouts, red onions, and cilantro add a nice crunch and freshness to the dish. The dish is hearty and filling, making it a great option for lunch or dinner. It was just what I needed for a cold winter night! If you're a vegetarian in Baltimore, Bodhi Federal Hill is a great option! They have a pretty extensive menu, with a lot of the base dishes being vegan/vegetarian, so the protein choice mainly make the dishes vegetarian or not. Overall, I highly recommend Bodhi Federal Hill's vegetarian Kao Soi. If you're in the Baltimore area and looking for a delicious, vegetarian-friendly meal, be sure to stop by this great restaurant. I'm excited to get some more kaoi soi and try the other dishes!

Yelp
This place has continued to become more and more reliable over the last few years. Not only have my wife and I found some favorites that always satisfy, but the new dishes we have tried have also been really tasty.

Yelp
This was my first time at Bodhi Federal Hill and I would definitely go back. The food was delicious and the portions were enough for leftovers! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful. If you're visiting when the weather is nice, I would recommend sitting outside on their patio. It was beautiful with all the plants and lights!
google avatar

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place more than I did. First, this is not a parking friendly area, so just make sure to be ready for that. We did go on a Saturday night so I'm sure that didn't help with the parking, and it also didn't help with the quality of service. MAKE A RESERVATION, luckily our party did, but I did see some folks getting turned away in the front. We were sat in the very back and sometimes it seemed like they set us and forget us. I feel like a the drinks and apps were really good, I loved the wonton soup. For my entree I got drunken noodles, I like it spicy but honestly all I could taste was grease and spice. They did give my friend a free dessert for her birthday which was good. When it was time to go luckily the to go containers were next to where we sat so our party was able to pack that up on our own. Splitting checks is also very complicated here, so be mindful of that. The worst part of the experience was probably being chased down the sidewalk saying someone in our group didn't pay, when they had simply paid in cash and the staff didn't think to check before accusing us of skipping out on the bill. All in all it was an ok experience but I know better places to get my drunken noodles
google avatar

Yelp
Long story short I will be back next week lol and probably 2-3x every month This is probably the best Thai food I've had in all of Baltimore. The restaurant is cute on the inside and they have extra seating in the back room. My 1444 Thai tea was perfect and the Khao Soi was spicy but good. Prices are decent for the food and the flavors are definitely there.
google avatar

Charlisha J.

Yelp
**Take Out Order** Now I'm not sure how this restaurant is for sit in so please keep that in mind when reading my review. I order the wonton soup , mango sticky rice and curry puffs. Let's start with th puffs they were 10/10. They are sweet and got a nice kick from the curry. It comes with a sweetish sauce. I would order that alone and eat it as a meal it's that good. The stars in this post are only for this app. Mango sticky rice 6/10. I never had it before but it's pretty good sweet and refreshing. Wonton soup -0/10. This soup was so gross. The wontons were not a good texture or flavor. The soup lack flavor or depth. I read reviews of it being tasty so maybe it's different for dine but for delivery it was not edible at all I doubt it down the drain.

Yelp
Best Thai on this side of Baltimore, food has best taste. Atmosphere is good too, workers friendly.

Yelp
Ordered the Summer Basil Avocado Rolls and Mango Sticky Rice via delivery app - arrived ion time. Items were well-packaged. The basil packs a punch in the summer rolls - but the flavors balanced as I continued eating. I'm used so noodle-based summer rolls - but these had lots of lettuce with a few cashews and some avocado. The dippings sauces were a perfect compliment. They were a bit warm, but I'll give them a pass on that. I liked the toasted coconut on the mango sticky rice. The rice was slightly overcooked, but it was still enjoyable. I appreciate that they packed the icing separately.

Yelp
1444 light street, Baltimore, MD 443-708-7527 April 17, 2022, Sunday 2 persons 5 pm Atmosphere contemporary but cozy Came here with my sweetie for dinner before I went back home. We had a wonderful meal, I had the chicken with cabbage, and broccoli, and the sauce was amazing and tasty. Sweetie had the tofu dish and she too loved it and plans to come back with her husband in the near future. If you are vegan this is a very good meal. I also enjoyed the hot sake. The service was very good and attentive as well. Parking is parallel, so went a few blocks away in the West street garage for 6 dollars an hour and were spared the parallel parking.

Yelp
Came here for a anniversary dinner with my bae. We love Thai food and this is one of our go-to. Not fancy but cute with a nice ambiance. We started with the shrimp rolls, I ordered the basil fried rice and my bf got the salmon. Both were delicious.

Yelp
The Tom Yum Fried Rice. was extremely tasty with great plating. The ambience was cozy and conducive to conversation. The service was on par with care and concern to ensure we had everything we needed for a great experience.

Yelp
This review is based off my takeout experience! I thought the pad thai here was not bad but not amazing. I will say since I'm vegetarian and don't like nuts, I ordered it vegan with no peanuts which I know definitely changes the flavor of the dish! That being said, I've had amazing vegetarian pad thai and this wouldn't make the top of the list. I really do appreciate how accommodating they are for vegetarians and I would love to come back and try something else in person!

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday night with a reservation. Definitely didn't need one but it was a very small inside, with a patio, so having one was good to be safe. We started with the green sticks and wontons. They were good and the sauces that came were good. We had the pad Thai (chicken and shrimp), kra prow with beef, and yellow curry. The yellow curry stole the show!! Would recommend as a good spot to get solid but not spectacular Thai.

Ed S.

Yelp
Service was good, but unfortunately, the food was not so good. The grilled pork nam tok was flavored well and quite spicy. The were only a few pieces of thinly sliced pork though. The green curry tasted good. The chicken was too tough and there was too much bamboo. The jasmine rice served with the curry was a brown rice mix, which is not what I expected and not how Thai jasmine rice is served. The third dish, BBQ chicken with sticky rice, was not even close to how the dish is supposed to be. The chicken was very lightly seasoned and barely grilled with no skin. It is as if they took teriyaki chicken breast strips and tried to pass it as Gai Yang. The two sauces served with the dish were also not good. Instead of Thai chicken sauce that you can find at any Asian grocery store, you get some kind of sweet and sour sauce. The other sauce was more authentic, but was too salty. I had high expectations based on good reviews. But unfortunately, the food here is nothing like how Thai food is in Thailand or even at good Thai restaurants on the West coast.

Yelp
My new favorite Thai restaurant in Baltimore! Came here for the first time today and loved it. We were seated pretty quickly and our waitress was patient with us taking our time to decide what to order. I took a look at the menu and I was so happy that there were vegan dishes. I'm not vegan nor vegetarian but it was good to know that vegan dishes are available. I got the Kao Soi with crispy pork belly. It was so good! The egg noodles and broth were perfect. Portion sizes were reasonable as well. The Thai tea was a little sweeter than I expected but I didn't mind too much since I have a sweet tooth anyway. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful, from the lighting to the decor. It definitely felt like a moderately upscale restaurant because of the small touches here and there. Overall, I highly recommend Bodhi as one of the best Thai restaurants in Baltimore. I'll be back again to try other dishes and to also sit in the outdoor patio!
google avatar

Bruce G.

Yelp
My friend and I had dinner here. The food was pretty solid for a Thai place. I had the kao soi which is crispy noodles with curry and had chicken in mine. The waitresses were nice overall and the food came out quickly. However, it seems like they forgot about us. It wasn't that busy and we had to wait for a long time for our check. In fact, no one ever came despite one of the girls just standing there at the bar doing nothing and we were clearly finished with our meal. I had to go up myself and request my check. I don't mind waiting if it was really busy, but there were only about 4-5 parties there. I've had a much better experience at Be More Thai, which is nearby.
google avatar

Aditi S.

Yelp
Came here from out of town and was really impressed! The restaurant has really cute decor with a patio in the back. Family owned restaurant and all the servers were so nice and helpful. We got the drunken noodles, chicken ka prao, and the shrimp panang curry - everything was delicious and the perfect spice level! Would definitely recommend and will hopefully come back to try the other dishes!

Yelp
Food comes out super quick and perfect place for an easy chill dinner/lunch. Food was very delish and tasty and big portions left over for the next day.

Yelp
Best Thai in Baltimore, and super vegan friendly. The green sticks, vegan duck curry, and vegan crab fried rice were especially delicious.

Yelp
Delicious! I've been waiting to try this place out for a while and finally got a chance today! We stopped by for lunch today and had a wonderful time. Walked in and the ambiance was fantastic and welcoming, felt very elegant inside! We weren't greeted right away as they were helping someone else but it gave us a chance to look around and take the place in. Food ; Did I mention delicious! We tried a few items for appetizers we got the curry puffs (similar to a veggie hand pie) and KANOM JEEP (steamed dumplings). They came out quickly and were very fresh, my favorite was the curry puffs of the two. Main entrees; Shrimp salad (Plah Goong) this was very well seasoned and had lots of fresh ingredients. The Fried basil rice I got with mushrooms and it turned out great and had a decent amount of spice. The pad ginger came with mix rice and was very flavorful, every bite was a totally different flavor. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or a dinner date or a night on the town!
google avatar

Barbi B.

Yelp
I have ordered takeout from here many times and it's always fresh and tasty! My favorites are their chive dumplings, see ew, crab fried rice, and duck kra prow. The interior of this place is stylish with a romantic mood, perfect for a date spot.

Yelp
As soon as my husband and I were seated, and greeted by the hostess, our server was nowhere to be seen for at least 15 minutes. We witnessed her greet her other tables, but I guess we got the short hand of the stick because she did not even do the bare minimum of her job. No check in, no courtesy of asking if everything was ok, and to top it off- the busboy had to tell her that our water was empty and handed it off to her to do her job? The entire time she was talking to her other coworker or on her phone. We timed her how long towards the end when we finished our food to receive the check- 8 minutes for her to finally give our check after dilly dallying in the back. The only saving grace of this visit was because the food was good

Yelp
Met friends from France and San Francisco. Solid Asian options and curry. Spring rolled only detractor. Kind service and can tailor spice to your needs.

Yelp
Wow, I'm so glad we found this place. A small group of us were craving sushi down the road, but with impending rain and no seating, we trekked around the corner to Bodhi. I've previously heard good things about this place and I'm really glad we were able to try it. The ambience of this place is very cool, with hip music and beautiful decorations. Silverward is heavy and gold-color, adding to the experience (definitely go for dine in!). I tried the Tom Yum shrimp fried rice, Green Curry with chicken, and beef drunken noodles. All three were wonderfully done, flavorful and tasty. It was a nice meal and a great place for what tastes like some pretty authentic Thai food. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Ordered on Uber eats and ordered again within a week- their drunken noodles are just that good! The noodles were cooked perfectly and medium spicy made my taste buds so happy. I tried extra spicy the second time and could feel the burn in my stomach halfway at the end of my meal. The crispy pork held up incredibly well to the transit time, but the portion was a bit small. My second order with regular pork was great though! The pad see ew was also very well done, but more savory than expected. The egg was very tasty and they were generous with the amount of chicken in the dish. The shrimp rolls were a bit underwhelming, just whole shrimp rolled up and fried, but the sauce was delicious.

Yelp
The best Tom Yum soup I've bet had. The mushroom variety they put in it are SO AMAZING - unlike any place I've ever had before.
