Bodhi El Valle

Amazing stay at a fantastic location. The rooms were very comfortable - clean beds and sheets. The rooms and toilets were cleaned everyday by the cleaning crew. They have a book of activities and a WhatsApp group for people to coordinate activities in el valle. The lounge spaces were well lit & decorated. The outdoor lounge was my favorite place to hangout. The WiFi has great speed and connectivity was not an issue. The staff were very kind and friendly. They went out of the way to answer my questions. They have a laundry service for a fee. They also enforce quiet hours between 10:00PM to 8:00AM which really helped with the sleep quality There was also free breakfast which was delicious - eggs , corn tortillas, fresh fruit, yummy banana pancakes with home made strawberry syrup - I indulged myself in a delicious breakfast Things to improve: * cockroaches in the lockers / bedroom . Pest treatment has to be done * hot water was intermittent. Suddenly turns cold while showering and the hot water comes back again in a few minutes. Wouldn’t matter showering during the day but night time it was chilly. One night there was no hot water at all ; I couldn’t shower before going to bed

We stayed for four nights and had an amazing time. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the people staying were so welcoming. We did a meditation session and then there were the breakfasts; so good! The hikes were beautiful and the staff can advise on difficulty levels.|Can't recommend this hostel highly enough.

we had an amazing time camping at this hostel. the camping area was quite nice and the kitchen was clean. The workers are very helpful, especially Alex and Dalis. we recommend. it’s also in a great spot for all the activities around the town!!

I had a wonderful time at this hostel. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the common areas had a great vibe. It’s also in a perfect location – close to everything but still quiet at night. Met some amazing people here. Would definitely stay again!

Staff is super friendly and helpful, and there are lots of common spaces to hang out and meet other travelers. Probably the best part was the homemade breakfast each morning. Overall great experience here as a solo traveler.

I had an amazing time here at Bodhi! Super friendly and helpful staff and nice rooms. Another plus was air conditioning in the rooms! This was a really nice area to meet new people and they also offer great daily trips offered by volunteers.

Lovely hostel, location is great, right in the centre of town. It’s clean, has nice facilities with a kitchen, hot showers and AC in the rooms. Staff are friendly and can give you information about all the hikes and activities in the area. Included in the price is a tasty breakfast of freshly made pancakes and fruit with homemade syrup each morning. It also has a nice garden and chill areas. Only negative is it has very sad, flat pillows.

Best Hostel experience of all times, Friendly staff, clean and warm environment. Meeting interesting people. Coffee, drinks, smoothy, ice cream and bike rental available are a big pulse. Yoga room and mats, TV lounge and garden chillout was so lovely. Close to shop and market. Great recommendation for hike trails around with specific details like length, cost and distance. Comfortable Beds with curtain and light and outlets. Good internet Wi-Fi.
