Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort

This hotel offers a wonderful hospitality. The pool area is well maintained as well as the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant offers a discount if you are a guest and the food is fresh and delicious as well as a hearty breakfast is included. The staff members are happy and friendly. The room itself is ordinary but you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The beach is walking distance from the hotel.

I went for a single yoga session. It was such a beautiful space, you can certainly appreciate the breeze through the studio floor-to-ceiling windows. Thank you to instructor Julian for being a calming and helpful presence. The class was wonderful and I appreciated his guidance. The grounds of the resort are gorgeous, everything looked top notch. And good amount of parking. Note - there were many flights stairs required to get to the Yoga space, at the Ocean Chalet.

We went to Bodhi Tree for a yoga resort, and I was the retreat planner. Let me start by saying, this resort and Nosara far exceeded any expectations I had. From the food to the amenities to the excursions, everything was simply amazing. The rooms themselves were air conditioned and in pristine condition. The yoga shalas were, for lack of a better term, magical. The food was prepared in such a flavorful way, but still keeping the integrity of the local ingredients, I wish I could eat their food everyday. With that being said, the one thing that stands out against all of that is the impeccable customer service. I have stayed at many resorts and hotels across the world, and have never experienced such attention to detail and desire to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. From the front desk staff to Sebastian, our retreat coordinator, ever question and request we had was dutifully met, and everyone truly went above and beyond. I have no critiques, and cannot wait to go back next year!

The service at Bodhi Tree resort was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The front desk helped my group book excursions and get tuktuks (transport into town). The yoga shalas are all magical, and the food is delicious! Loved the spa and pool too. And the beach is just a walk away. If you want to feel truly taken care of and blissed out, Bodhi trees for you. I hope to be back soon! Special shoutout to Sebastian for all his help!

I had attended a few yoga classes leading up to our stay and had not prepared myself for the fantastical living space that was more spacious than anticipated. Perfect for a mom and her 21 year old son. Actually perfect for anyone who wants to sleep, breathe, rest, swim, eat well, exercise, relax, awaken, remind and restore their bodies. The beds in the separate sleeping quarters, were canopies of comfort and luxury, the outside space was private and an extension of the lush surroundings, and the bathroom and separate sitting area were highlights as well, with an abundance of room and a wall of natural light. I loved it. I knew after entering this space that I was going to return.|The yoga classes were lead by inviting and supportive instructors. The spaces and offerings catered to all who wished to participate, learn, grow and challenge themselves.|The staff was approachable, friendly and helpful.|I would have preferred some thorough key information given to us about the included (gifted?) tokens, as to when and where we could use them. This would have avoided a lengthy, uncomfortable discussion with the front desk clerk, leaving a sour taste in my mouth as I checked out of such a wonderful, breathtaking experience.

Bodhi Tree is a very special place. While this was our third trip to Costa Rica, it was our first trip to Nosara, and Bodhi Tree. We joined Melany and Duncan's Signature Yoga Retreat, and everything was pretty much perfect. We loved the daily itinerary and we met wonderful people in our retreat group. From the gorgeous jungle setting, to the food, to the amazing yoga and pilates instructors, spa, and the resort employees who are not only extraordinarily friendly, they are very responsive. The place runs like clockwork. My husband and I stayed in a King Bungalow, and loved having a jungle view right next to our very own little waterfall. We also fell in love with Nosara, so much so that we decided to purchase a Bodhi Tree Residence and eventually make Nosara our future home! I even RETURNED to Bodhi Tree with a friend a week after our return to the States to spend more time there and work out our family vacation dates for the year. Bodhi Tree is a little slice of heaven!

We wanted to come to this yoga resort to unplug and recharge our batteries. Little did we know that this experience would be so fulfilling. We had high hopes for our vacation, but this resort, the activities, and its fabulous staff went above and beyond our expectations. We are refreshed and energized and looking forward to returning with other couples who can enjoy their stay with us and feel how wonderful it is to stay here as well.

My cousin and I visited The Bodhi Tree Resort to celebrate our 40th birthdays, and within hours, we both agreed, we’d be back!||The resort is beautiful and peaceful, with great service and plenty of walking and stairs to keep you feeling fit. Yoga was a highlight, though we would have loved a nighttime Yin class or included soundbath. The soundbaths offered were an extra class and we didn’t really see the value after doing one. ||Breakfasts were amazing! so many healthy options, especially the vegan choices. A perfect start to each day.||Overall, a fantastic and rejuvenating stay. Already looking forward to our return.
