Boese Bros Brewpub - Los Alamos

I had a fantastic Reuben... Excellent crispy grilled outside and a great blend of meat and fillings. I always try to get extra thousand island and the house recipe was on point!The pasta salad was really good as well. I enjoyed the cherry wheat, it was a bit like a sour cherry pie in a glass. Our server was friendly and attentive, a great experience overall.

A nice grill and bar in LA. It was recommended by someone I talked to at an art fest this morning. Nondescript decor. Playing all country music (that is the reason for my 2 stars on atmosphere). Service was great! Super nice folks. Very attentive. Menu is all sandwiches, but I was warned. And the choices were great. I ended up with the Rueben which was THE BEST RUEBEN EVER! Nice beer and wine choices. I will come back, for sure! I will just bring earplugs for the dang country noise they play.

I'm in from out of town and google doesn't show there being many dinner options in Los Alamos near my hotel. Boese Bros popped up with good reviews so I went. HOLY COW this chicken green chili panini is literally the best thing ever. I can't remember the last time a sandwich made me so happy. The pasta salad that it came with was so good too. HIGHLY recommend!

Good food, good beer selection. Inside and outside sitting. Plenty of parking.

The vibe has changed at this location and it has lost whatever it was that made it a fun place to go. My wife and I would go here at least once a week for years. So long, and thanks for all the shoes.

Food was pretty pricey for just sandwiches that you could easily make at home (no unique flavors or special sauces or high quality ingredients). But drinks were good.

Chicken green chili Panini was really good, enough to share for my wife and I. Pasta salad was just okay. Service was a little slow and it took quite a while to make our two sandwiches. One other slightly annoying thing was when it was time to pay I was just handed and electronic card swiper with a total price, I was not able to double-check to make sure the order was right. I could have asked, but logist expect to be able to see a detailed breakdown without having to ask for one. Overall great little place, with some outside seating as well.

We were thirsty and this place can certainly help with that. I had a glass of ale and several friends had beer & sandwiches. All the folks with the sandwiches said they were great. Since I only had beer I can only say I enjoyed the beer. Service was fast and very helpful. A great place to relax and have a nice lunch!

Drove from very far expecting to eat here because the website says the kitchen closes at 9, arrived at 8:30 and was told we couldn't order food because the kitchen closed at 8:25.. Should probably update the website

Stopped in with a date and we both had the chicken green chile and cheddar grilled cheese sandwich, and drank water. When it was clear we weren't there to imbibe, we were told, rather rudely, that the iceless water is self served. It wasn't a big deal, but the unimpressive and pretentiousness continued. Looking over the menu, it became clear that this place only serves about five different types of grilled cheeses, and a few similarly built cold sammiches. I found nothing special about what I ordered, except the price, which was around $18 and included a pickle and a small bag of Miss Vickie's chips. When I received my order, I was instantly let down. The protein had not been grilled, which was disappointing, and rendered the sammich colder in the middle. The sourdough did not taste like sourdough at all. I'm pretty sure it was just white bread. Its only saving grace was that There was plenty of delicious melted cheese, but my indifference was solidified by the chile. It was clearly Bueno Brand (which is famously flavorless and heat-less), and did absolutely nothing for the sammich, except give it a punch of unnatural bright green. Still being in New Mexico, I expected more from the chile, and for the price tag, I excepted more from the sammich. Over all, everything C+/B- at best. Being that Los Alamos suffers from a dismally minimal variety of restaurants, I'm sure that I may end up there again. I'll probably skip the food, and try a cider instead.

The sandwiches were basic but good, I did think they were a bit pricy for what you got. But the beer was good and cold! The service was a bit slow but everyone was friendly. Overall it had a fun vibe.

I placed a to-go order and after tax and tip, a lackluster tuna sandwich and a bag of chips cost me almost $20. The sandwich wasn't horrible, it was ok.. but it's definitely a horrible value. I know inflation has penetrated everything at this point, but a small sandwich in a styrofoam container shouldn't cost $20. I didn't even want to get food from here because my expectations were/are low, but nearby Rigoberto's was closed (Sunday) so Boese Bros was a last resort. So I guess shame on me because I knew better.

Two friends and I were visiting Los Alamos so we stopped in. We were seated quickly, but upon seeing the menu, we were instantly underwhelmed by the food options. It's basically a selection of a handful of sandwiches, all of which you could make at home for a fraction of the price as none of them are anything special. The sandwiches themselves were ok. They are made on panini presses by the bar so I don't think the place even has a kitchen. Regardless, the sandwiches (and bag of chips) were nowhere near worth the price of about $20 with a bag of chips. Service was fine. There isn't much ambiance but maybe if you sit on the patio porch it would be better than inside.

This place just opened and it's really awesome. Yummy beer, great food, and a fun atmosphere. They have two different "bar" seating areas and tons of tables. They also have a cool area with board games, too! Boese bros is great place to hangout, grab a bite to eat and catch up with friends. Beers are about $6 each. Sandwich prices vary. I went with my husband and out friend and both of them said they can't wait to go back. It's awesome to have another local brewpub in town. They don't brew their beer there, but it is brewed in ABQ, so not far. Definitely worth a stop in.

Great place to grab a bite or some brews. Prices are reasonable and service is quick. Wish there was more seating or some outdoor seating with heaters in colder months. It's great to have this option in town to hangout. So far all of the sandwiches I've had have been good.

My family and I are visiting out of town. So we stopped in for dinner. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the green chili grilled cheese sandwich it was amazing. The beers are really good including the cocktails. The services was very nice and the atmosphere was great.

Okay. The beer was great. Food .....a limited menu but good taste. For a pub not to have French fries is tragic. Having someone hand us potato chips instead of french fries was my saddest moment of my meal. no ice. Also such a waste to serve water in plastic bottles. I had an issue with the service. But they were welcoming. And did go out of the way for us on one occasion Service was slow but again overall was good. 1 year from now when they hire more staff I hope the service it will change.

Excellent beer and service. Very accommodating. The Ruben was very outstanding and delicious. The chip appetizer was one of my favorite part and it all tasted very delicious.

Stopped in for lunch and it exceeded expectations. We were greeted and instantly offered multiple samples of beer and cider, which were great. Service was fast and friendly throughout our time there. Both the sandwiches we tried were delicious (roast beef green chile and corned beef). It is a small menu right now, but I think that's really smart for starting out -- it ensures everything is done well. I'm excited to go back!

Completely ignored by the wait staff. Wanted to order drinks, waited 20-30 minutes for someone to ask if I wanted one but finally gave up and left. They were quick to bring the check, though.

Liked the hazy disliked the IPA. Food was fine (Reuben was standard, the queso had an off-putting taste others noticed and agreed it tasted like fuel). Service was odd so some people ordered at the table and some had to go to the bar. Servers that came didn't check on the table, just individual people, then left. This happened with food and beverage orders. Everyone wanted to order at the table - when I arrived friends received food but the server didn't ask if anyone else wanted anything. It felt like we were catching them vs having customer service (the table, as a whole, was never asked if anyone needed anything the entire time we were there). I asked for my bill, the server brought a portable POS, handed it to me and then walked away. I was still holding the POS and had to ask someone to put it at the end of the table. Everyone wanted to close out. Overall it is an acceptable place. It felt more family-friendly than Bathtub because there were games and more indoor seating and space. But friends mentioned how much they enjoyed taking their children to Bathtub. And, for the quality of food (again not bad but fine), I'd rather go to a place where I'm not restricted by the menu. The only reason I would go back is if somebody else wanted to, or to try other beers to change my opinion of it as a brewery. I would not order food again.
