Bofa Beach Resort

The tented rooms are better than the apartments. I unfortunately upgraded from tent to apartment room only to find that the a/c doesn't work. And with no netting on the windows, you're caught between an oven and a battle with mosquitos. The food was decent and the staff were really helpful and responsive. The location is a 2 minute walk to the beach, but the access road has been encroached by hotels :(

So, while I may not know the specifics of Bofa's day-to-day work or their personal triumphs, I can still offer this encouragement. I can acknowledge the immense value in what they do, simply by understanding the nature of dedication, responsibility, and service. To Bofa, wherever you are, whatever challenges you face, know that your efforts are seen, even when they're not explicitly stated. Bofa beach resort is an affordable spot in kilifi that has offers regular rooms as well as tent style rooms. The staff are great and very helpful. Bofa beach resdort do drop the ball when it comes to being need and tidy.around the hotel. Tue place could do with real soap dispensers instead of the shady water bottles. It also has a-lot of potential if they just cared to do a-lot better. They lost my keys on on day and they dint have spare keys took them several hours to locate them that i felt wasn’t professional nor was i acceptable. They need to work on their protocols as well. All i got was apology. Bofa beach resort is not on the beach which means the name is deceptive. It has great potential to be an amazing spot but i think the management lacks drive or interest on taking it to the next level.

The resort has spotless tents, excellent service, a pristine pool, and a beautifully green garden. You'll really enjoy it.

The tented room was clean and quiet, just the sound of nature. The staff friendly and the receptionist, the best. It's a place where kids can have fun. Breakfast is well prepared. The platter I had however had too little potatoes which were hard like crisps with tough to chew meat and burnt chicken. That aside, I enjoyed the place.

They let us use the pool without the fee even after we checked out the next day. Nice and super helpful staff. The lady at reception even went to get me a toothbrush 😄 Pool looks great, they also let me check in earthly at 8am!

I Checked in in this place in April to stay close to the hospital where my mom was ailing and my original plan was to stay for 2 weeks. I paid a deposit of almost the whole amount. I explained to the manager that i don't know when i will check out as it depends on my mom. First there was that although i have paid for two weeks, I was informed that during the Easter weekend , The price will increase which was ridiculous. Anyway, It was solved. The next day, My mom unfortunately passed away and thus i was forced to check out to start with funeral arrangements. It was drama, first i was told that because i am cancelling my booking, though i had explained my situation prior to my checking in, The manager said i had to pay for the 2nd day too even though i checked out in the middle of the day.I said ok that's fine. then return the rest, the drama began, go come later .I am busy with my mom funeral and am told to go back on and off.I went and i was told the Owner said that my balance has to be taxed because the money was already deposited in the bank. I said ok, Give me the rest after tax. It was drama, They didn't want to refund my money just saying go and come back till i became angry and refused to leave. Then i received a check which i have to go to the bank, while i paid using Mpesa.|My Advise to any traveler, Please don't visit this place, you will be coned. The people are not truthful and are not to be trusted. Go to the major hotels but stay away from this place.

This is a good place to lounge considering their fare room charges as compared to other hotels. However, the management need to up their facility and services and check such essential facilities as water flow in the bathrooms, blockages and the kind.
