Bogor Cafe

This is quite sad for the so called 5 stars hotel restaurant buffet, you guys serve soda drinks by bottle thrown inside bowl with ice without proper container like any other fine restaurant, and no ice cream spoon,i ate ice cream with fork lol. let's be real this is not what you called proper display for buffet. I hope you can improve better inthe future, since there are so many good buffet places with affordable prices that display better for their drinks. Lucky their service is top notch and very efficient. Other than that just standard.

Food - i am in love with their buffet. Ample of options to enjoy. Their Indian cuisines are also really good. One should try their Japanese too.

I had buffet lunch in here and all food have great taste. A lot of variety of food . Indonesian . Western , japanese, indian. All food good taste. Definetly will come back.

"I recently visited Bogor Café at Hotel Borobudur and honestly, I was a bit disappointed compared to my previous experiences. The overall quality has dropped quite a lot. The variety of food is now very limited, and the famous oxtail soup (sop buntut) that used to be their signature dish doesn’t taste as good as before. Another thing I noticed was the service. Staff seemed less active—many dirty plates were left on tables for too long, and there weren’t enough staff standing by at the food stalls to assist guests. For a place with such a strong reputation, I expected better attention to detail. I really hope they can improve the food quality and bring back the great taste and service that made Bogor Café special."

Every Jakartans who had been tried the famous oxtail soup here, must have been own a soft spot in their hearts for this particular dish. The Oxtail still tasted as the same as i was here years ago. The texture is tender, juicy, and really easy to come off from the bones. But not for the soup. It tasted so different from it used to be. It was too sweet, runny, and not good enough. I thought it was because i ordered the grilled oxtail. But when i tried the original ones, the broth still tasted the same. So basically, all soups for the oxtail, are basically the same, regardless how you want your oxtail to be served. The Australian tenderloin steak was nice. The way they’ve grilled it, was fine. Too bad the mushroom sauce wasn’t really good. Service was good. And the place was pretty celan, considered how old is this building.

Without a doubt, their oxtail soup is one of the best around here. Not only that, they have various menus from Indonesian, Japanese, and Western cuisine. There are carving stations, Gelato, sushi, and many more. For a hotel cafe, I think this one is pretty good

Nice restaurant with varieties of Indonesian dishes. Famous of oxtail dish. Quite pricey. They also served buffet menus.

The best Oxtail Soup (Sop Buntut) in the city. Recommended for you to try. You can choose to get ala carte or buffet package.
