"If you’re looking for a no-frills base for exploring the city on foot, look no further than Bohem Art Hotel, a four-star boutique propertynear Váci Street, across from Gellért Hill, and just steps fromthe Danube. Given their central location, the 60 crisp white rooms look way better than they need to: each features bold red and black accents and work by a specific contemporary artist, and guests are encouraged to choose the room they’d like to stay in by reviewing the artists’ CVs, which are listed on the hotel’s website. Large groups will appreciate the not only triple- but also quadruple-room configurations, as well as a handful of suites with sofa beds and huge bathrooms. And if it’s too daunting a task to choose a local bar for pre-dinner cocktails, Bohem has you covered with its lobby lounge."

The hotel was excellent! Good location right in the city centre, good rooms, good beds and it was quiet. We arrived quite early, but was offered to get the room directly, which was very appreciated. Would easily come back if/when I return to Budapest.

What can I say about this place. Everything. The hotel is a charming little hotel in a great location. |Pros- staff is overall amazing and friendly, great location, good breakfast, clean and near to public transportation and walking distance to many main attractions. This was my first time in budapest and I did not take a taxi once. Not even on my way back to the airport. |Cons- rooms are a bit small but I travlled alone so it was perfect for me. Not sure if the double occupancy rooms are bigger. But still great hotel.

Nice hotel, no complaints at all. The staff were very helpful and nice. It was my first time to Budapest, and a good introduction. ||Good breakfast, with an orange juicer! I’d have liked a bit more fresh fruit. ||Beds were comfortable, room and building were very clean. ||I would stay again.

Extremely Disappointed – Bedbugs and No Accountability I stayed at this hotel for three nights. While the first two nights were pleasant, the final night was nothing short of a nightmare. I was staying in Room 506 and, shortly after getting into bed, began experiencing intense itching. Within 10–15 minutes, I discovered multiple bites all over my body – clear signs of bedbugs. The situation was distressing and completely unacceptable. At 2am, I had to shower and call reception because I couldn’t bear the discomfort. The night staff member, Agnes, was helpful and moved me to a different room (Room 106), but the damage was already done – I was left physically uncomfortable, unable to sleep, and deeply unsettled. What’s even more frustrating is that despite raising a formal complaint and requesting a partial refund for the final night, the hotel has refused to offer any form of compensation. This lack of accountability is incredibly disappointing for a hospitality business. The presence of bedbugs is a serious health and hygiene issue, and the way the management has handled it has only added insult to injury. I would strongly caution others before booking a stay here. If something goes wrong, don’t expect them to take responsibility.

Great hotel for a city break in Budapest. Fantastic location one street back from the River Danube and one street back in the other direction from Vaci Street with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. |Ideal location for walking everywhere but also close to the tram & metro.|We were a family of 4 and stayed in a quadruple room which was a perfect set up. The upper double bunk bed was good fun and surprisingly comfortable. we all had great sleeps. Hotel is spotlessly clean and staff were friendly. We were able to leave our luggage after check out which was great. would definitely stay here again 👍🏼

Ive stayed in Budapest many times so was unsure of bearings of this hotel but turned out to be perfectly located just off vaci utca main street about half way down closer to the great indoor market hall side. |Rooms were great, very modern, comfy veds, lovely bathrooms with walk in showers.|Staff very friendly and helpful.on reception.

Absolutely not a 4 star hotel by any means! Very small room. The staff had missed our request for the rooms which was confirmed in advance. Highly overpriced for Budapest levels! The only positive is the location

Great location as it was close to the centre and all facilities. The beds were great and the shower fantastic. Super friendly staff. My husband wasn’t impressed with the breakfast as there wasn’t much option. I would highly recommend this hotel.
