Boheme Retreats in New York's Catskills Has 5 Restored Vintage Campers and Wants to Make the Outdoors More Inclusive
"Keva Niver and her husband, Rudel Felicien, opened Boheme Retreats in New York’s Catskills in 2022. The site offers an inclusive environment for camping, hiking, and fly fishing. Guests can stay in one of five restored vintage campers named after inspiring Black women in history. The site includes amenities such as a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, shower, toilet, and full-size bed, along with access to an outdoor fire pit with a grill top." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Campers are clean and well thought out with many little amenities you need to be comfortable. The addition of a little sauna room and a large lobby dining area, enhance the experience of feeling cared for at Boheme Retreat.
Keep in mind you’re camping and not at a hotel or spa. So there is still that rugged touch that keeps the camping vibes alive.😊

Boheme Retreat is a fantastic auto camp spot with a retro vibe. The camper was equipped with portable AC and a space heater, made our stay comfortable. All the necessary kitchen equipments were inside, making meal preparation a breeze. Our pup absolutely loved it, and we appreciate that it's dog-friendly. While the camper has a pretty small toilet, the campsite provides restrooms and showers for your convenience. Also, Wifi is available!
The host is friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay again :)

We had the best experience with our little getaway at Boheme Retreats! Perfect glamping escape relatively close to NYC. Our van was equipped with everything we needed to feel cozy, and the owner was super helpful and communicative before, during, and after our stay. Highly recommend for a weekend escape!

This place is perfect! My 1st time camping. And of course wanted some amenities so I will not freak out. We'll, this place has everything. Just bring some food, paper towels, spices, firewood and get ready to enjoy. The Rosa was small put perfect. I'm 5'2 and the shower was no big deal. My husband is 5'10 and would not shower in camper. Campsite has bathroom and showers for everyone to use. Super clean and well lit. Definitely recommend a stay.

Boheme Retreats is just that, an awesome, amazing escape from the hustle and bustle of the 9-5 (or the work from home) grind. Hiking trails, tubes, fishing, scores of tiny villages to explore, provide experiences to enjoy.
Each campsite has a fully renovated vintage RV (1980 or older) that comes fully stocked coffee, teas, linen, and utensils for an extended weekend.

One of the most magical stay's that I will never forget. Such a beautiful location with lot's to do in the area like a water fall hike and tubing down a river. I cannot speak enough praise over this space. The RV's were so beautifully renovated and cozy , you have everything you need to enjoy a clamping experience. Not to mention the host was incredible and so helpful every step of the way.

Blissful. More than anticipated. As someone who tent camps I was overprepared with gear for the experience. Seriously everything you need is there including wifi. Plus obv care down to aesthetic plates & cutlery. Firewood can be picked up from any of several places on way in - Have some cash in case it's a self service box.
Owner, her friends, and fam are dolls.

Beautiful setting, very well maintained and utilitarian vintage campers for the camping curious or experienced who want to “rough it” but not that rough. Our family has been twice already and will be back.
