When compared to other places, while we were booking, what we loved about this hotel from the pictures was the amount of plants and green space around the place. After staying there I think we chose correctly as there were plenty of spaces for shade on those hot days. There was even some quiet secluded spots around too. ||An unexpected observation we really liked was the wood fire smell from the pool bar oven. It just gave the place a cosy delicious feel.||The hotel is located pretty close to the beach (10 min walk to Playa del Inglés), and many choices for restaurants all around.||Not a huge hotel, so we never had too much trouble getting a spot by the pool. Gym was good too with plenty of equipment, but the hotel should look to fix the floor as boards warped and uneven which could be a safety issue.||Pool bar cocktails and food were very good. The staff efficient, but could have been slightly more friendlier (it could have been language reason for no small talk) as might have made us feel more welcome.||We had breakfast at the restaurant, as was included with our booking. The view from the top are amazing and it's a fantastic place to start your day. Also the staff (special mention to Jose) were great, friendly and attentive. The food was very good too, even though not a large selection we never got bored after a weeks stay.||We spent a bit extra on a Junior Suite room which was huge and had a very comfortable bed. Shower had great water pressure, and curtains blocked out the light. We slept very well as also the hotel is in a quiet location. The room also had a large balcony with a day bed and chairs to sit and relax with views of the pool and sand dunes at the beach. A great spot to relax, read and have a few drinks in the evening! Also a bit of fun that the chairs lit up at night!||House keeping was top class in getting in to clean the room while we stepped out for breakfast on most days, and did a great job keeping the room clean, and stocking up supplies as well.||Only minor negatives were the overly complicated room light switches that took a while to figure out, and the sound/TV system which was suprising as Bang & Olufsen products are supposed to be a good brand. I really struggled to get music to play on the wall speakers eventually having to remove the speaker cover and reset the device. Also tried to Cast my tablet to the TV and couldn't get it to work. There were no instructions but I am usually good with tech or so I thought. ||I thought the AC lock-out minimum (of 22C) was slightly limiting as some nights I would have preferred to have had the choice to go lower for a better sleep. Also worth mentioning the toilet bowl was back to front which made no sense from a practical perspective and that's all I'm going to say about that.||Overall we had a great stay - very relaxing. It was hard accepting once our holiday was over as could have stayed longer! We look forward to returning.
