I had a great experience dining at Bohemian Brewery! I tried the Garlic Burger, Egg Florentine, and French Toast — and everything was delicious. The bun on the Garlic Burger was fresh and flavorful, and the sauce on the Egg Florentine was so tasty and well-balanced. The French Toast was absolutely awesome — perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sweetness. The service was excellent. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even better. The interior design is very interesting and cozy. I especially loved the fireplace — it adds a warm and charming touch to the atmosphere. It’s a great spot whether you’re grabbing brunch or enjoying a casual meal with friends or family. Parking is easy and convenient, and it’s nice that they also offer a kid’s menu, making it a family-friendly place. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I’ll be coming back to try more!

Fred is the coolest guy! He was the friendliest and so funny. Service was phenomenal. Apparently they haven't changed their main menu in 20+ years so you can count on getting your favorite dishes every time you visit. The ambience is so cozy. I love the feeling of being in a big cabin with a fireplace. The fries are on par with Bruge's though they don't have such amazing dipping sauces. We like the salmon fish and chips, pierogies, brats, and chicken schnitzel. We got a great blackened chicken sandwich yesterday that was a daily special. Delicious! The pretzel and beer cheese is totally worth the $12 dollars. The food is pricey but worth splurging for on occasion. And they will give you a free dumpling dessert on your birthday without singing to you!

Google
Bohemian Brewery totally blew us away. The vibe of the place made us feel like we were in a cozy pub somewhere in Germany—super authentic, warm, and inviting. Great atmosphere for both beer lovers and casual diners. We tried a few of their beers and really enjoyed them, but the standout for me was definitely the Viennese Lager—smooth, flavorful, and just the right balance. You can tell they take their brewing seriously here. For food, we ordered the Brewmaster’s Basket, which came with fried calamari and fries—crispy, tasty, and perfect for sharing. We also got the chicken wings, and they were delicious—great flavor, cooked just right. The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and the staff knew their beers well, which is always a plus when you’re exploring different styles. Overall, Bohemian Brewery was a great experience from start to finish. Amazing beer, great food, and awesome vibes. Definitely coming back!

Look at those pretzels. Nice comfortable interior with some cool paintings. Large beers but most are low alcohol content. Viennese Lager was good. The meatloaf was too much for the wife to eat so she made up for it by ordering a strudle. I had my first ever garlic burger. Good. Check out the old mopeds upstairs.

Google
Really neat German spot. I went with a work group. We ordered pretzels for the table. The cheese was really good. Some of us ordered sample flights of beers, where you got 4 options (each 2 oz). It was perfect to try the different beers. I personally ordered the Brats entree which was delicious. It was very flavorful . Highly recommend.

I love the beer. So good. First time having pizza. Was excellent. I love the decor. The service is always wonderful. I wish I lived closer. But still will go out of our way to go here.

Google
This is my first time here, I gotta tell you the prices are a bit high with most of the entres starting around $20 and appetizers starting at $10 going up to $20, the beer prices aren't too bad with pitchers at about $16 but the food quality pretty good for what we had. The beer selection was good as they do brew their own beers, I don't think you will have trouble finding a beer for your taste, they do offer samples for $1 if you aren't sure what kind you would like. The server we had wasn't bad but wasn't the best I ever had he just didn't seem to want to be there, didn't make any suggestions and wasn't in a rush to serve us however when he was at our table he was very polite. The decorations are quite interesting for a pub, with taxidermy animal heads on the walls, antler hanging ceiling lights, and a log cabin wall motif (rustic looking) but comfortable seating arrangements and they have seating upstairs as well. It was relatively easy to find a parking space, and they do have ample handicap parking as well.. all in all.. if you aren't tight in the pocketbook and in the area, I would definitely recommend this place. 👌

Google
The beer and food were great. However one must work hard to figure out what to order, as the staff or menu did not help make the star dishes and beers stand out. I wish the menus highlighted the unique dishes the place is known for, like the giant pretzel with beer cheese sauce. It was not even listed?! The only way I knew about it is because I had seen photos when I researched the place. Similarly on the beer menu - I wanted to order one of the award-winning beers, I could see medals displayed on the walls, but the menu did not indicate which brews had won any awards. Thankfully, Gemini told me. Overall, everyone had a good time.

Yelp
I'm a Bloody Mary enthusiast, and this one was amazing! Great taste and great amount of liquor. The calamari and crab cakes were delicious, and huge portions. We ended up not getting anything else because we were full! Can't wait to go back and try other things. We chose to sit outside and it was so peaceful and pretty. Inside seemed very charming though, can't wait to try that. They also have $2 beer Tuesdays? I don't drink beer but if I did that would be amazing lol. They did seem a little understaffed, but it wasn't terrible.

Yelp
My friend and I had a great time at the Bohemian, especially with the fun Oktoberfest atmosphere. The servers in lederhosen added to the festive vibe. We started with the potato pancakes, which were a little overdone but still enjoyable. The new patio with umbrellas was a nice addition, and the service was attentive throughout. I ordered a Reuben to go, and it was delicious--definitely a highlight of the meal. As a brewery, their beer selection is excellent, and the German flavors on the menu are a real treat. For $40 before tip, we had an appetizer, two beers, a soda, and a Reuben, which I thought was fantastic value. I love the German influence, and I'll be back for more! -- Star Breakdown: - Cleanliness: (4/5) - Service: (4/5) - Food: (3/5) - Value: (4/5) - Ambiance: (4/5) -- Overall Rating: (4/5)

Yelp
This place is now a go-to when I'm in the SLC area. Czech style hofbrau haus, great service, everything was great Buddy and I were there for an event at Delta Center and though it's out of the way from Delta Center / Downtown... TOTALLY WORTH IT Had the Bavarian brats and sauerkraut .. I like my sauerkraut a little less mushy but it's still really on point and hits the spot. Our server Stephanie was super friendly and great!

Yelp
Decided on brunch at the Bohemian today, I love when they have chicken and waffles as their special. dip your breakfast potatoes in the beer cheese from the pretzel. Amazing, thanks Richard!!!
google avatar

Yelp
The pretzel was awesome and the cheese sauce to go along with it was very good. The meals were good, I would go back to enjoy the ambiance, great decor! Service was also very good! Want to try something else!

Yelp
This was the best beef stroganoff I've had. The sauce was amazing. Beef was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The staff are so nice. The decor is also really fun.

Yelp
Went there after many years and nothing has changed.... That's a good thing Had a few great beers with friends and their wedge salad. It wasn't what I expected- not your normal presentation- but it was good - Overall we had a good experience and will return to try other menu items and beers

Yelp
Good beer, good ambience and good food -- can't go wrong. The pretzel was a little burned but didn't stop us from eating it all. I shared the schnitzel with my husband cause I was pretty full from lunch. We enjoyed it. Bread pudding was very good. Our server may have been new or just wasn't very confident with the menu because he wasn't readily able to answer our questions but did get the answers eventually.

Yelp
Great beers, great food, great portions, great service! We got beers at the bar before we were seated, and then we got more with dinner. They have so many good beers to choose from and all were delicious. The food was great too. Our group of five got four different dishes and all were great. The vibe of the place is also perfect. The wood interior and general mood was awesome.

Yelp
A great spot that we stopped at on our way back to SLC after visiting Provo. Beer options were outstanding. Service was spot on and made sure we were taken care of throughout our time. This included being welcomed and helping us find a spot on the patio with our little dog. Great outside seating options. Food was great. We each ordered a sandwich: Reuben and Bratwurst. Both of them were great. I highly recommend this place. Great service, food options, drink options, and spot to have a nice lunch and dinner.

Yelp
The menu hasn't changed at Bohemian Brewery in 23 years. Fred, the owner I am assuming, is upbeat, kind, and fun to talk with. Fred said, "you walk through those doors, you own it." The service is impeccable. Our sever was fast, competent, and friendly. The Noble Hefeweizen is light and delicious with the option to choose between three sizes (I got the 16 oz). The nachos are huge and have perfectly cooked cheese. You can add protein if you'd like. The Bohemian Club Sandwich is bursting with flavor and has turkey, ham, bacon, onion, and more! The bread is perfectly toasted. Finally, their garlic fried, oh my god, their garlic fries are the best fries I've ever had in my life. They are perfect--crispy and super garlicky. They are not greasy at all! This is my new favorite place! With a brewery vibe, great music, and a wide open concept, I would bring everyone here--from people visiting out of town to date nights--this place is perfect for any occasion!

Yelp
We absolutely loved this restaurant! You get that European feel as soon as you walk in. Service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent! So many things we wanted to try so we can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Waitstaff is super friendly and engaging. Food is great with hefty portions. If you love salad, get the beet salad. It's truly delicious. Plenty of easy parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Food is always quality. Love the service. It has a fun vibe. I love that it's not a chain so the quality is there. My only complaint is it's so good everyone wants to eat there. Seriously one of the best in the SL valley.

Yelp
I went here for dinner with a group of friends on our last day visiting Utah. We arrived on a Sunday evening around 6-7 pm and there was a few minute wait for a table for 4. They do not take reservations. We ordered the giant pretzel to share as an appetizer. My partner ordered the old world roast pork and I got the Schweinshaxen. Portions are huge and we had leftovers for breakfast the next day. The Schweinshaxen was very tender and the pork fell off the bone. I had it with spatzle - which is like a fried pasta. My other friend got the beef stroganoff - very delicious and flavorful! And another friend got the brats. We ordered the German chocolate cake to share between the 4 of us. Each dish was at least $20-25 with the Schweinshaxen being close to $30, so not the cheapest option in the area but I thought the food was good. They had a wide selection of German beers that you can get in different sizes. They also have cocktails which are a bit more pricy. Free parking in the lot. The inside is very homey and feels like you are in a log cabin!

Yelp
Wonderful food and great service! Had the French dip sandwich and garlic fries and they were superb!

Yelp
I decided to Czech out Bohemian Brewery whilst in the SLC area and I'm sure glad I did. The restaurant/brewery has very Oktoberfest sort of vibe paired with some really great, on-style, German and Czech brews. The food is hearty, plentiful and perfectly pairs with knocking back steins of beer. Yours truly enjoyed the Dunkel and The Alt Beer. Food wise, the pierogies and spätzel were amazing & high marks for the calamari as well. Super friendly bartender and prompt service. I'll be back on my next visit to Utah.
google avatar

Lisa R.

Yelp
Czechulator and espresso vodka cocktail were great starts..... perogis are always an easy delicious choice but the special of jager schnitzel (chicken or pork) were off the hook...... they should offer as regular choice as it is better than the traditional sauce! Yum. Ps make sure to ask server if there is a special as she forgot to tell us until I asked!!!

Yelp
Loved this place. Buzzing with energy and packed even at 4pm! We were in Salt Lake city for Christmas week and stopped here for a late lunch and some beer. We were super impressed with the beers honestly and they felt a little flat. Food was great we shared chicken schnitzel, bratwurst and their yummy pretzel! The bread pudding was also very lovely. Replace to visit while in SLC!
google avatar

Kayla C.

Yelp
Food was good, service was GREAT. This was our 2nd time here. We will most definitely be visiting again. I had the chicken paprikash and it was pretty good. It was a little on the bland side but a little salt fixed that up. The spatzle was great. Do yourself a favor and get the pretzel with beer pub cheese. Absolutely incredible!

Yelp
Got a pizza, it was just ok. Male bartender was not attentive and condescending at times. Female waitress/ bartender (the one in the picture) asked us very rudely if we could consolidate bar seats as there was a seat between me and my female friend, we could not figure out why she would ask this but it made us uncomfortable. She also snapped at my friend when asked for the wifi password. One of the bar patrons, who appeared to be a regular asked her if she was mad at one point while we were there. Sure did seem like it. This place has gone downhill, the beer isn't very good and the food is overpriced. A friend of mine who lives nearby said the same about the prices to me a couple weeks back, they aren't going there anymore. Nobody said "thank you" even when handing us the check, I guess they don't need my money. I still tipped 15% even though I really should have left nothing. The place is always busy so they probably will disregard this review.
google avatar

Jessica S. C.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorite restaurants. The pierogies are amazing. The schnitzel is fantastic, the special is out of this world
google avatar

Yelp
I feel like I am alone in this review, but our food was just "OK." And for the price we paid for our brunch, I want to feel better about it than that. I am giving it 4 because of staff. Two highlights for me (and it wasn't the stuffed French toast): friendly staff, and the potatoes. We visited at what we thought was opening time on a Sunday (turns out it had been open for an hour already). We were seated right away; I always love when there's no wait. We were seated upstairs surrounded by motorized scooters, which were really fun to look at. The hostess was super friendly. Our server was friendly. And the manager (owner?) came by our table and offered us a discount for having a beautiful baby. That was really sweet of him, and my husband said he'd come back just for that personal touch. In general, the food was OK. I didn't love my stuffed French toast. The potatoes, however, were really good. Overall a pleasant visit, albeit pricy even after a "beautiful baby" discount. But I would come back for dinner.

Yelp
The pretzel was incredible. Overall a fun place to meet up with people and have some good fun and drinks.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance are always on point! The flavors are amazing! Always a good time!

Yelp
Had a great evening out at the Bohemian Brewery; food was good as usual and the service was great! Our Bartender, TayTay, was friendly, prompt, and attentive - despite the place being packed on. Saturday night. Great customer service makes all the difference! Thank you Bohemian Staff!
google avatar

Ryan F.

Yelp
I was between a 3 and a 4 on this but bumped my rating up to a 4 because the service was great and someone who I believed was the owner was going around to tables thanking guests for coming and making sure they were satisfied. I enjoyed most of the food. The brewmasters basket is good if you like calamari. I thought the pretzel and cheese were good but not the best in Utah. I tried the Pierogies and Bratwurst. First time trying pierogies and I really liked them with the dill sour cream. I almost loved this dish but wasn't a fan of their sauerkraut. It's different here. By reading reviews it seems like people either like it or don't. I prefer the sauerkraut at Siegfried's or Weller's. It's sort of pudding like here and I just wasn't a fan, but I'll be back to try other items on their menu!
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
So good! The interior design is so fun and the food is always a treat. Love the selection of craft beers. Service was kind & friendly.
google avatar

Andi S.

Yelp
The banana hefe is a treat for those of us not into hops! The beet soup was surprisingly good and refreshing on a hot day. However, the veggie sandwich is a disappointingly dry and bland vegetarian option. Not one to ever leave a crumb on my plate, I couldn't handle more than one bite of the acrid and tough mushroom. I encourage the owners to try the Tree Hugger at Slackwater to know how delicious a veggie sandwich can be.
google avatar

Romeo D.

Yelp
When in Sandy... why not stop here and have some locally brewed and German inspired beer? And a Bratwurst, or a Schnitzel. It's a cozy place with lots of fun decor. I had a Bratwurst kind of sandwich with Spätzle. It was fine and I did enjoy some Sauerkraut on it. But for the price I was expecting a little more quality. Service was solid and fast.
google avatar

Yelp
This is our favorite. We always take friends and family who visit here. They have a fantastic menu and their pretzel with cheese is to die for. We love the unique atmosphere of the place and the different food options we wouldn't get anywhere else. Their German chocolate cake is out of this world. I'd recommend this restaurant anyone. They are always so nice and high spirited. Top notch service. They're also very fast at bringing your food.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing service, ambiance, and food. This little gem of a restaurant was a welcome surprise. Raven was our waitress.. two thumbs up. We ordered the special burger. It was made with wagu beef, bison, boar, and elk, I believe. It was served with a side of fries and fry sauce. I had the sausages w mustard sauce. It was served with pourogie and dill sauce and saurkraut. I hadn't had a saurkraut that was creamy before. It was really good. The pourogie I'd never had before either. They were stuffed with a garlic mashed potatoe. To top it off, we split the apple strudel, which was even better than apple Hill's Strudel. Everything was in great portions as well. Both the inside and outside dining areas were very nice. I'd definitely come back when in the area again. Btw so impressed with the desert we took a piece of German chocolate cake back to the hotel for later....yum!
google avatar

Marti W.

Yelp
Of course it goes without saying that the beers were great! The portions are so large that you'll be taking half of it home so you're really buying two meals. Everyone at our table loved their food. Our server, Rayven was very accommodating.
google avatar

Sandy P.

Yelp
I was desperate for German food in Utah, so came here with 16 descendants ranging in age from 43 to zero. First off, the claim is that this is a Czech restaurant not German. So I am judging it as such. I got the schweinhaxe and it was quite good - better than the roast pork hock I had in Dallas! Less fatty, the glaze was tasty. The red cabbage was terrific. The spaetzle not quite as great - maybe not fried enough? Would have preferred more rotkohl & less spaetzle myself. Granddaughter had a Bratwurst platter which she enjoyed. I tasted her sauerkraut and it was first rate. My wife got roast beet salad which she enjoyed. All the servings were huge. I took my leftovers home and had two extra meals out of it. The pretzels are monstrous and the little kids went nuts over them. The beer cheese dip served with them is waaay too salty.
google avatar

the_ M.

Yelp
I've gotten the salmon here and ordered to go when we got there on a Friday night because it was so crowded. If you are into breweries and you like beer, you will probably enjoy this place! I'm gluten free and so my options were somewhat limited but not none to nill. I would come here again but would order something different the next time around.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Great beer, amazing old recipe food. Pork shank was spot on and pork schnitzel with a butter like sauce.
google avatar

Lisa V.

Yelp
The restaurant is busy, bustling, loud, and the food is remarkable! We always get the giant pretzel; it's nice and hot, it is giant and the mustard and cheese is something that you constantly crave. Sometimes we get one for each person because it's gone in a minute. Our favorites are the grilled vegetable sandwich, Bavarian brats and the pork schnitzel. They do give big servings and we always finish our plates because the food is so delicious. The staff are always friendly and patient. We love going in the winter and sitting by the fireplace. This is good European comfort food.
google avatar

Sherron P.

Yelp
I enjoy the Bohemian their beer is very good. Of the many times I have been there. The only down spot has been the dessert. This visit their prices have gone up at least ten percent over all the food was under par for what I expected. It's gone from being an affordable place to take a family to a dinner for five people cost $300. I was not impressed We have had the Bohemian as our go to restaurant for more than 20 years. It is not a place I will return to. Prices are to high for what their cook is plating. Red cabbage was cold and not properly cooked. My beloved pretzel was so dark it was almost burnt. Our meals where not up to what I have come to expect. I will not be returning

Dustin B.

Yelp
Incredible food. Very nice staff. If you are looking for German / European food, you have arrived. The beef stroganoff with Spätzle was so delicious I went back the next day and got it again but with mashed potatoes instead of Spätzle. We went with my 2 small kids. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. He brought a treat to the table for our kids while we waited for our meals. Our server, Destinee, was very nice and portrayed Bohemian Brewery in a very professional manner. I would eat here every day if I could. Thank you!
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
We had a great dinner here last night. I had the Jaeger schnitzel special, my husband had the brat plate and our sister-in-law had the chicken schnitzel-all delicious. We also had the garlic bulb appetizer, cheesecake, and tres leches cake-very good. Nice selection of drinks also. The service was excellent and there is a large parking lot. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Kelsy P.

Yelp
I feel like SLC is so saturated with brewpubs but Bohemian trumps them all! They have lots of seating and can accommodate larger groups. Their menu can satisfy everyone and the food was SO IMPRESSIVE. Get the salmon fish & chips, you'll thank me. The steak salad was also super flavorful. Our waitress was so sweet and very on top of it.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
Bohemian is an awesome spot for grabbed a beer and a great dinner. They have a wonderful outside area, a fun inside seating area, and bar seating. The food is so delicious and authentic, I loved it. The perogies were one of the best I've had and the beer is always good!
google avatar

Thomas R.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Quite possibly the best Central European food I've ever eaten. I highly recommend the schnitzel, perogies, and pretzel.
google avatar

Val W.

Yelp
Was a nice meal and ambience. Got the goulash and expected it to be more of a stew - it was just sauce and meat (though tasty). Also the "bread dumplings" were just slices of bread. The beers we had (Weiss beer and Hefeweizen) were good, but nothing special. Patio has nice view of the mountains (and parking lot).
google avatar

Shauna S.

Yelp
If was fun trying out this new to us restaurant. Our friends had eaten here several times. They recommended a pretzel with cheese sauce appetizer that was delicious. We ordered fish and chips, beet salad with salmon, and beef stroganoff. We also split German chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and cheesecake with blueberry compote. Everything was flavorful. Our server Sophia was good. We asked to move from the loud main floor to a quieter table upstairs where we could talk. Parking can be tricky here. We didn't have reservations but we're seated immediately. It was busy on a Monday night. Maybe they had TVs for a football game.

Rachel G.

Yelp
I can't recommend this place enough! We are from out of town, and a coworker told us to try this place- so glad he did! We just went for appetizers and drinks- we got the pretzel (get it!), potato pancakes, a cherny bock beer (amazing!) and they had a non alcoholic beer too! The food and drinks were above and beyond our expectations! The owner, Fred, talked with us a bit, and I enjoyed hearing his stories. I heard people raving about the sauerkraut (I know what you're thinking...'sauerkraut??' Yes. Sauerkraut.) and we tried a sample. It was like nothing I've ever had before! We plan on going back before we leave town- it was that good!! Great atmosphere- great wait staff ( our waitress was Allie (sp?) she was FANTASTIC!) great everything!

Martha L.

Yelp
Fish and chips were super. Great place. Well worth going there. We are from Michigan and are fussy about fish
google avatar

Kareen R.

Yelp
Great service by all, attentive and perfect timing. There were 4 of us, we had peiogos as an appetizer, so good and sauces on them, yum. The Reuben sandwich with garlic fries were top notch, would order again. The crab cakes also very good with the sauce. Meatloaf and veggies were a hit. The French onion soup, the broth was so good, but didn't care for the croutons on top which kinda ruined the traditional FOS for us. We'll all come back and try all different items on the huge menu.
google avatar

Bridgette L.

Yelp
Vibes are great. Food is good. Prices are steep so it's a splurge. We had a good valentines dinner. Beer was great! Definitely will go back for beer and try different foods. The pierogis were fun to try.
