On the Grid : BoL Eatery

"BoL is an asian-inspired ramen joint that also serves up some amazing dumplings, salads, and pho. The service is quick and the atmosphere is casual, with generous portions. Ingredients are locally-sourced, and there are ample vegetarian and vegan options (the coconut curry broth is amazing, for vegans and meat-eaters alike!). You are sure to leave feeling satisfied." - St. John Design Group

Google
We are very disappointed. We have been eating here for years. They have cut the portions to what seems like a third. We loved to eat here but can’t believe how small the portions are now! Very sad!

Google
Always consistent, Always delicious!! Great music & vibes too! I prefer ordering a bowl of beef pho (with extra brisket on the side) over any of the fried options at other Hard Rock restaurants. Great for watching the game at the bar too! I’ve tried other dishes as well like the rice with steak, chicken & shrimp and that was very tasty as well. You can’t go wrong with anything off the menu. Enjoy!

Google
Went to The Bol last night, had the General Tso’s chicken and it was reaaaally good (also the Hibiscus margarita was amazing)— crispy, tasty, just right. Manuel was super friendly and made the whole experience even better.

Google
This is my family and I’s go to restaurant. The food is always great and everyone is very nice here. We always go for their wonton soup, xo fried rice, and their shrimp pad thai.

Lina Chen

Google
Really nice restaurant with a nice interior decor. The food was good but my pho wasn’t even hot. The soup was warm but not hot as I expected to be. The other dishes were good and flavorful, I just wouldn’t get a pho next time, not the best dish. Service was good and the vibes were nice as well.

Google
The food is ok. It didn’t pack in the flavor like we were hoping for, especially the spice on the spicy wontons, but the service makes up for it. You should expect high prices since it’s in a casino, but that is a given. My kungpao chicken was good. A little bland but had the essence of the flavors and the filling in the dumplings was exactly as expected. We wanted more kick from the sauce. My friend liked her chicken dish. I think she did the orange chicken or general tsao. I can’t remember. I had a bite and it was as expected so you won’t be disappointed. Our server Kelvin was awesome. Friendly and personable and knew the menu in and out.

Google
My boyfriend and I come here almost every week and always sit at the bar. The service is consistently above and beyond—Richard and Allison are absolutely amazing! We can’t say enough good things about this place, from the food and drinks to the top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Google
We had the longest wait..literally like 50 minutes. The place is covered in smoke, wall to wall, because it’s in the hard rock. I would have had a better experience if the smoke wasn’t there. The tables were super close and the place was packed. Everyone was nice though. Parking was tricky because you have to park in a garage and walked unless to do valet. BTW The food portions are large but it’s not authentic Asian..like a step up from PF Chang.

Yelp
We just finished up a late dinner at The Bol. We ordered the eggplant and tofu stir-fry, vegetable lo mein, and spring rolls. The food was flavorful, and the portion sizes for the eggplant dish and lo mein were generous. The lo mein was a bit saucy, but still tasty. The eggplant and tofu stir-fry was very good. One thing that caught us off guard was the $6 charge for an extra cup of rice--especially since the small portion of rice served with the eggplant dish wasn't nearly enough to pair with the rest of the entree. That said, the service was fantastic--our server was quick, attentive, and gave spot-on recommendations. We also appreciated the vegetarian options on the menu, which made ordering easy. The Bol is a decent spot for a quick filling meal.

Yelp
such a pretty restaurant tucked in the guitar hotel & casino. We were seated as soon as we walked in and for a Friday night that's great even with the little crowd. The food was soooo good and fresh. I believe I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp wok, great flavor and loved the vibe for a date night.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick late-night bite before heading upstairs to my room to call it a night. When I arrived, the bar was nearly empty, with only two or three other patrons. However, it filled up quickly after I placed my drink order. I opted for the hibiscus margarita with a sugar rim, which was quite good. It wasn't overly sweet and was very refreshing. For food, I chose two appetizers: the Chinese egg rolls and the spare ribs. The portion sizes were generous, making both dishes ideal for sharing. The egg rolls were perfectly fried, and the duck sauce paired well with their flavors. The spare ribs, while tasty, were a bit too fatty for my liking, though I still managed to finish three out of the four. Overall, it was a satisfying experience with solid Asian-inspired cuisine. I'm looking forward to returning to try their pho and chicken fried rice.

Yelp
Good Asian fare that is comforting with reliable service and execution. Some favorites are the cha siu rice, Sichuan dumplings, Beef Hue noodles and Pepper Steak.

Yelp
Good pan-Asian choice just inside the front door of the massive Seminole Hard Rock Casino complex. Service and and ambience are very good, and the food is good, especially for a casino restaurant, but a bit overpriced. 4 star ambience: it's beautifully decorated inside. The whole place has a cigarette smell from the casino; supposed there's no way around that. The exterior windows overlook the main outside entrance for the casino. 5 star service: the front desk and server were both prompt and efficient. Our server checked back maybe 5 times and was very friendly 4 star food: Food is good but slightly generic and slightly overpriced. My Korean barbecue was listed as generally Asian barbecue, and was a little bland. Sides of jasmine rice and Chinese broccoli were good.
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Located inside Guitar hotel near the casino floor. Service is very courteous n friendly. Always very appreciated. Food is ok, I'm a New Yorker so it's hard to impress sometimes. The Chinese broccoli was so big it was hard to eat. Once I managed to cut it was delicious. The dumplings were good. The coconut shrimp was good. From the outside the restaurant looks small but once inside the back of the restaurant is big.

Yelp
I love Asian-cuisine and The Bōl did not disappoint at all! This place is a blend of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes and the food is great quality for the price you're paying. Located inside the Hard Rock Hollywood, the atmosphere is cozy, with dim lighting. Our waitress was prompt and very knowledgable of the menu items with great recommendations. The Hibiscus Margarita was refreshing. The soup came as a huge serving and I was not able to finish it all, but it was delicious. Overall our experience was fantastic and we will definitely be returning!
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service was excellent hot tasty food did not disappoint. Service was incredible. The servers knew exactly what we would like and also had recommendations was not disappointed and I come back frequently because I love this place.
google avatar

George G.

Yelp
I was in the mood for transfusion menu , this place had a little bit of Vietnamese Chinese. It hit all the notes I was in the mood for soup. I heard that the fog is delicious, but I decided to go with the wonton soup. Shrimp was decent little bit more flavor, I ordered tofu rolls they were delicious.
google avatar

Ariella V.

Yelp
Ambience is chic and cute off to the side of the casino. Chinese spring rolls are AMAZING! Could have eaten 10, no lie. Chicken lo mein had great flavor and the portion was split between my toddlers, husband, and I! My kids ate most of the steak off the beef and broccoli too! All veryyyyy flavorful and prices are a little high but I will say the portions do compensate. Restaurant was pretty packed on a Friday night during a Def Leopard concert haha! Definitely would go again! Looking forward to trying the soups!!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Yall mess with dank Asian food? Well, make sure you check out the BOL inside the Hardrock in Hollywood! I love the big juicy chunks of what seemed to be chicken breast! Cooked well and fresh! The Singapore Mae Fun was very good. Not overly saturated with liquid and not super dry like they dusted the curry! The egg rolls were pretty good too. Yall know me, I love a good crunch. Exactly what I received!
google avatar

Shanice G.

Yelp
Was there anything wrong? No but it wasn't anything spectacular either. Overpriced obviously. A solid bet for Asian food if you're hungry at the casino. Can't go wrong with spring rolls to start. They were crispy and hit the spot with the sweet chili. I personal prefer smaller bites for general Tso but it was a plentiful portion with rice. The mei fun was delicious! It had like a spicy curry taste to it.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
We stayed at the Hard Rock and decided to try Bōl Asian Cuisine. The portion sizes were just right for one person, and the sweet and sour chicken was absolutely delicious. The Singapore noodles were good too, though we felt they could use a bit more spice. Our waitress, Valentina, was fantastic--pleasant and helpful, offering great suggestions based on popular dishes and her personal favorites. The restaurant's decor was neat, and everything was very clean. Overall, a solid dining experience!
google avatar

Krystal T.

Yelp
I'd give it a 2.5 for the food only because the service was good. The food was alright. We had eggplant and steam tofu with added beef. Potstickers, wontons, pho and vegetables fried rice.
google avatar

Jack H.

Yelp
Seated very quickly to make our show. The hostess was super sweet blonde hair, Giana. She gave us a good recommendation during short wait and the ribs were amazing. Special soft shell crab appetizer was a must have. Manuel was very efficient and nice. So far our favorite restaurant at the Hard Rock!
google avatar

Yelp
Returned twice this year...both times were excellent. Shrimp fried rice - delicious Fish with ginger and scallions - so light and delicious Drinks were refreshing. Plan to return
google avatar

Yelp
The Duck and Duck fried rice are FANTASTIC!!!! I'll make a special trip just for this meal alone.

Yelp
Step off the active casino floor into a Asian culinary oasis after watching Zedd peform pool side at the Guitar hotel. That's what we did and we'll do it again every time we can. Don't get confused with the expedited seating or efficient service. This is not a fast food eatery. Drinks were we'll crafted, service top notch, ambiance catches you off guard, and the food seals the deal. They've elevated this experience over the years and that is something exceptional in south Florida. Definitely check it out the next time you're debating which restaurant to hit on the property.

Yelp
We were staying at the Hard Rock and came to Bol for dinner. The manager at the host stand was super friendly and seated us right away. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. The lights are dim and it wasn't too loud in there at all even though there was quite a few tables. Our server was helpful when I wanted to make a few alterations to my food selection. I ordered the pepper steak but got chicken instead. Oh my goodness this meal was good I ate it all! The chicken was so tender and the sauce was light and flavorful. The only thing I didn't like was there were so many peppers and I wish they were cooked a little longer to be more tender and not so crunchy. But overall it was amazing and I would order that every time!

Yelp
stopped in last night for a late night dinner at a restaurant in HR called the bōl. they seated us far in the back (we had a large party) but it was odd bc they were fairly empty. tbh i didn't even know the restaurant was that large as i've only been to the bar there before. we got a lot of food and it was 9 of us and we couldn't finish it all lol. we got about 4 bowls of pho, chicken, seafood, beef, ribs, sticky wings, fried rice and waters for the table. one thing that sucks about sharing the soup was that we finished the broth so quickly, we ended up ordering a side of broth and the server was kind enough to bring us an extra for free. the wings were definitely my fav and i'd go back for that again!
google avatar

Padma A.

Yelp
Went for lunch before catching my flight......got the stir fried veggie noodles with tofu. Wasn't too greasy fortunately. Was quiet during lunch.
google avatar

Dan P.

Yelp
starting off with good comments, the restaurant and tables are clean, very well decorated. My family enjoyed the Pho and fried rice and so did I. The service was alright depending on who was helping us, for example our server taking the order was super patient and friendly! the floor is sticky, we all felt it with every foot steps that floor is sticky. the food is underwhelming considering their expensive prices. in conclusion come here if you enjoy Pho!
google avatar

Nathan D.

Yelp
Was at the hard rock for a concert... decided on grabbing food since we were early and this place was recommended. Got the duck bao, which initially tasted good .. but halfway through the concert, I got nauseous.. definitely glad I was able to hold out, but when I got home.. I kept feeling worse until I "threw it up." I definitely won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
While waiting to attend the Dave Chappelle standup we decided to stop in. We saw the ratings were kind of even kill but gave this place a chance. We are honestly glad we did!!!!! I had a mango mojito that was ok. For dinner we ordered the Duck fried rice, dumplings, and Orange Chicken. The dumplings were typical...fried and tasty. The Orange Chicken was fried nicely, but it was all chicken breast. Being that it was chicken breast it needed more of the orange sauce so that it would be as dry. The fried duck was magnificent!!!!!! It had the perfect amount of seasoning and was fried perfectly. The rice portion had lots of meat and fresh veggies. The service was great...our waitress was really busy, but the manager saw us and stepped in to take care of our needs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are at the Hard Rock.

Yelp
The beat wagu goyoza ever ! Pricey and packed elbow to elbow but they were worth it! Sit at bar if wait is long

Yelp
This is one of the restaurants inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. They serve Vietnamese and Chinese food. We were not staying at the hotel. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken for my main course. It was very good, seasoned well, and in big chunks. My daughter ordered Chicken Pad Tai and was pleased with it. Our appetizers were Dim Sum Dumplings and pork dumplings, pan-fried. They also tasted good. I tried the iced Vietnamese coffee and liked it! Our server was attentive and welcoming. Our food arrived quickly. However, the young men removing the dishes were in a hurry to grab our empty plates. We barely finished eating, and they were there at our table. One of them was so quick to remove a plate that he knocked a dumpling out of my daughter's hand as she was moving it to her mouth, and it went flying into the main aisle! He quickly left but didn't pick up the dumpling on the floor. A manager lady was nearby, and we called her over to tell her what happened. The manager picked up the dumpling but didn't replace the dumpling. Awkward. After dinner, we stopped by the slots for a while. The Bol is across the aisle from the slots and gaming. The best way to reach it is to drive to the Seminole Parking Garage, head for Valet. You can valet for $40 or drive just a short distance to the free self-serve garage. After you enter the casino, go left a short distance to The Bol.

Yelp
Good food and fast service. In love the duck fried rice and the coconut shrimp. If you're looking for a tasty bite while taking a break from gambling I would check out this spot. The vibe is pretty chill nothing too fancy.

Dina H.

Yelp
Food was delicious, prices were good and our server Adrian was very nice and attentive.

Yelp
Pretty good soups, the pork belly was a little tough, not as soft as I've had at other places. Service was really good, our server was very attentive and cheerful. Would definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
google avatar

Carrie S.

Yelp
This place is located at Seminole Hollywood casino. I sat at the bar and Sal was the best bartender. He was great with conversation without being overbearing. Had excellent food recommendations. Very attentive. I had the Vietnamese spring rolls appetizer and the duck noodle soup. This is by far one of the best noodle soups I've had. The flavor was amazing and not overly salty. There was a decent amount of duck.
google avatar

Jason H.

Yelp
Swing and a miss. Figured pho wasn't going be a difficult choice as it's hard to f up. Unfortunately, like gambling in the casino, this experience was a pure L. The pho broth was actually pretty good. Too bad noone thought to deliver the necessities for pho. Oh, idk.. sprouts plate for 2 phos, hoisin, and if possible, some fn chopsticks?! I guess they can get away with bc perhaps the locals don't know any better? Would I come back? Yeah. No.
google avatar

Nasarah M.

Yelp
The food was very delicious. The pork belly and coconut shrimp were my favorite. Service was quick and friendly.
google avatar

Traci W.

Yelp
Good Asian food spot inside the Hard rock casino. Stopped in after a concert and we were lucky enough to get a table right away. We ordered a few drinks and appetizers including the eggrolls and coconut shrimp. Eggrolls were eggrolls. Nothing all that special. Coconut shrimp were good but also average. The Chinese barbecue pork though was really delicious. We also got the short ribs which were not very meaty and a little on the tough side but so, so tasty. Both were served with plain white rice. Drinks were good. All in all a good meal, and good service, but nothing out of the ordinary to make me not try one of the other restaurants in the casino. Just good.
google avatar

Andrea I.

Yelp
Really good food, the atmosphere is great and the service by Valentina is the best! Definitely coming back soon.

Nautico S.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience, although we were a table of 4 with a lot of questions and request , the services was great , the server went the extra mile to make sure we had everything the way we wanted it , she recommended few items from the menu and it tasted amazing , great food quality and great Margaritas . I think the server name is Valentina , a very sweet girl with a very beautiful smile . Again , thank you Valentina , my parents had an amazing night , after spending 6 days at the hospital , this was a great night for my parent .

Kristal C.

Yelp
The restaurant looks small from the outside but it wraps around in the back. It's dark & intimate. While walking to our table a manager greeted us with a smile & said hello. That was nice. Service was regular, apps came out first then the entrees. We always order the orange chicken & pork fried rice. The ribs were delicious!! It is a bigger portion but we couldn't wait to dig in. Definitely will reorder next time. Always delicious when I come to the bol. The casino is big but I believe it's easy to find this restaurant if you park in the main garage.
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
We had tickets to a comedy show at Hard Rock Live and boy was it hard to find a place to eat! Thankfully Bol had some availability and was able to seat us within five min of arriving. We ordered coconut shrimp as an appetizer and shared chicken fried drive as well as general Tao chicken. While it was very delicious, the coconut shrimp was a very Small portion and we'd probably skip that next time. The chicken fried rice on the other hand had generous amounts of white meat chicken. The general tso was also a decent portion and came with white jasmine rice as well as broccoli. Neither dish was too spicy so we had to ask for chili sauce and hot mustard to try to spice it up to our level of heat we like. All in all it was a delicious meal!
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
Hubby and I stopped by on a whim. The food was good, my pad Thai was great and a nice portion too. But I have not had a great waiter like.Beto in a very long time. So gracious, kept coming by and filling the water and picking up the little garbage on the table without being asked. Packed up our to go meals and bagged it up like a professional. I don't remember the last time a restaurant didn't make me do it myself. He was amazing & that service alone makes me wanna come back. Two thumbs up.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Good choice inside Hard Rock. Affordable. Generous portions. Service was great - super attentive & quick without being pushy. The pan-Asian theme isn't too loud or corny & serves as a nice respite from the relative chaos happening in the casino. The decor helps to calm down your senses. The food was tasty & well prepared. The dishes that are deep fried (like the orange chicken or pork bun) have a great crisp & crunch - the meat inside is a little dry but was still good. The char siu pork dish was great - strong recommendation if you like those red, Chinese quick-cornerstore ribs. Taste was spot on. It was obvious to us that we were coming for Americanized Pan-Asian food. And they delivered. You're not here for authentic or unique recipes. You're here for well executed dishes of popular, well-known recipes. The only critique I have concerns the drinks. We had the Japanese old-fashioned. And it tasted great! Well made, balanced & perfectly mixed to hold up w dilution. We originally ordered the SakeTini but were informed that they were out of the Sake used for the drink. We asked if the bartender could substitute or replace the Sake w something comparable - making a different riff on a martini or even just a martini. We were informed that no substitutes were possible - the drink was simply not available. It's not a big deal, but I'm guessing that means pre-mixed drinks. Upon further consideration, pre-mixed drinks are probably the best option for this place, bc turnaround time is probably a priority at this venue. And w the number of fancy looking bars littered throughout the Hard Rock, I'm sure getting the cocktail of your choice won't really be an issue for your night out. Overall- a great option if you're at Hard Rock!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute restaurant. Big portions. Yummy food. If you drink a lot of water (you might want to ask for two glasses). Photos enclosed. Will come again.
google avatar

Jackie V.

Yelp
We were at the Hard Rock for a concert. Walked by this place and decided to get a late night meal. We were seated immediately. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken wings were done to a perfect crispiness and the honey Sriracha sauce was delicious. The chicken pad Thai was very well done. The crispy pork belly was good but I wish it was served with some dipping sauces. Definitely will come back here again.
google avatar

Ramsey P.

Yelp
We came to The Bol for lunch and had a great meal. If you're at the Hardrock already it's conveniently located insid. If you're coming coming just to eat you'll need to either valet or park in the garage. Loved the setup once you walk inside the restaurant, bar is located right up at the front. The service was great, everyone we came in contact with was nice and the food came out quick. The food itself was excellent. I ordered the General Tsos chicken and it had lots of flavor with a perfect amount of glaze around it. Decent size portion for lunch. A little on the expensive side for what you get but that's expected at a place in the Hardrock. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
google avatar

Sherine A.

Yelp
Server was great and very informative. Thank you to Manual for the awesome service. The food was decent. Wings were my fav. Drinks were really good. Atmosphere was nice.
google avatar

Levette D.

Yelp
The Hibiscus margarita was presented well, but they forgot the tequila. Oh well, what should I expect from a restaurant inside a casino? I'm going to rank my drink a 2 out of 5. I ordered the crispy pork bao bun, and to my surprise, they were delicious. The pork was crisp, the Julian carrots and cucumbers were sliced perfectly, and the sauce was a chef's kiss. This dish was a 5 out of 5. As a matter of fact, my mouth is watering as I type this review because I am it right now. I also ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and the Vietnamese vermicelli salad with shrimp to go, and they were terrible. No flavor at all. All in all, I give them a 2 out of 5. If you are in the Casino and want a bite to eat, it's not the worst place to go, but the food is below average for the price. Now I will say the service is above average, and the ambiance is great if you are a people watcher. It's a perfect spot to watch everyone entering and leaving the casino.

Yelp
The Bol has expanded customer space and increased prices dramatically since I've been there last about a year ago. Still nice decor, quiet, friendly and quick service. Kung pao chicken was tasty and quite a big portion (enough for two), but the accompanying rice side was tiny and not a match for the dish. The pad Thai was good but overly salty, but edible. In all, I was fairly satisfied except for the prices that were way out of range for food and location of restaurant.
google avatar

Alicia V.

Yelp
Sit at the bar and ask for Allison! She provided amazing recommendations and the drinks she made were nothing short of amazing ! The Beef Chow Fun was out of this world! Best I've ever had (drake voice).

Yelp
My husband and I ate here before a comedy show on date night. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated and modern, with (obviously) an Asian influence. Although reservations were not possible, we were seated in less than two minutes of our arrival. We ordered pan-seared pork dumplings as our appetizer, and I had the Duck Fried Rice for my main dish. Everything was delicious. The food was well-seasoned, and the portions were quite generous. Although our waitress was not incredibly attentive, there was a manager on the floor who was there to ensure that the needs and requests of all patrons were met. He indeed went above and beyond to make sure that this was a fantastic dining experience. We will certainly be dining here again.

Bowman S.

Yelp
Sunday 07/28 at 1:45pm was our first and last time. Place not busy. Our table was so lop sided it rocked. Framed art on walls is covered in food stains/dried food. Lite smell of cigarette smoke from the casino. Ice tea tasted like rancid cocking oil? Young man running food never said a word. BBQ pork belly was not eatable. Other apps and entrees were just okay, nothing special.

Lisette H.

Yelp
Customer service was great!! Food was delicious!! Had the chicken wings as an appetizer and a Margarita that was really good! Chicken fried rice was a good portion for two. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Will return again!
