Design is very nice but we were not informed that breakfast is vegetarian and you have no other choice, no phone in the room for internal communication, we had to leave the room in order to contact anyone from the staff! The big big NO, is that one day before our check out suddenly there was no hot water to take a shower, we contacted the reception and they said that they will check if there is hot water in other rooms in order to move us, but we refused to be moved, she said she will inform us anyway but this never happened! The same evening we showed up at the reception but they didn’t even ask!! It’s sad to report such an incident but as soon as they got paid since day one, they should be at least helpful!

Very spacious and clean room, and a very friendly welcome with recommendations of things to do in Munich. A little bit further out from the centre but great transport links. We did not have breakfast but this did look good with lots of choice. Would stay again.

I enjoyed the hotel very much. I had the advantage of having read Trip Advisor reviews, so when I got there, I asked to not be on the ground floor. (Some review said it was noisy when they start making breakfast, and also from guest up all night in common areas and outside yards). The room was great, as I was alone. It would have been too small if my husband had been with me. I really liked the minimalist decor. Tasteful details, like interesting fabrics. Breakfast was amazing. Roasted veggies, and tummy cheeses. I am not a vegetarian, but I am okay with having a Non Meat menu, when there are lots of other, good quality choices. The reception staff were helpful, with my requests and questions.

Booking.com'd it. Was not in room much - out and about, slept soundly. Blackout curtains worked (bright from 5:30 to 21:00 in Munich Summer). TV as noted elsewhere useless broadcast channels, many not authorized to decrypt. But did not stay to watch TV. Breakfast, cafe, bar all looked great, did not use. -- Great Preisleistungsverhältnis. Clean, friendly*. Stayed 3 nights, room didn't get serviced, but I did not particularly mind. (*Not a given in Deutschland.) Slow EV charging end of street for overnight parking alternative to the garage. (Although it says just 1 hour.)

Terrible location outside of the city. Nothing is within walking distance. Rooms are sparsely decorated and lack any character. Beds are lumpy and shower is weak with only the hand held type shower head. The Tv is like a monitor. Paid $500/night and it was easily one of the most budget hotels I’ve stayed in. Has the feel of an eastern block prison cell.

PROS: A lovely hotel with a nice lounge and friendly, helpful staff. This was in a great location to attend an event at the Munich Messe as it is on the underground line that goes from the main train station/city center, to the trade fair center. Only 10 minutes walk to the underground with plenty of supermarkets and some low-key restaurants also within walking distance. Not a particularly colourful neighbourhood, more suburban really, but convenient and pleasant enough, and very quiet. The room - a studio on the 4th floor - was lovely too with a small kitchenette, large TV, comfortable bed and a cute balcony (unfortunately too cold to use it but nice to have). Breakfast was great...lots of simple but tasty options and although expensive, worth it when travelling for work.||CONS: The heating did not work in my room. It was minus 2 degrees C outside. The first night I arrived late and slept badly due to cold but didn't realise the heating wasn't working. The second night I asked about it at the front desk, thinking I may have misunderstood the in-room controls. I was offered another blanket when, given the cost of the room during the trade fair (150 euro) and the weather, I believe that I should have been offered a room change. I basically spent all evening in bed, under two blankets...too cold to sit in the room without. I asked the next day whether the hotel was full but apparently it had not been. I should probably have insisted on changing rooms myself. I did mention it the next day when leaving and the front desk staff apologised, but didn't offer any kind of compensation either. Everything about this hotel was nice and I would recommend it (with heating!) so it would not be fair to give fewer stars. However given the cost of the room, I am writing this review just to emphasise to management what steps should have been taken (and hopefully they read it ;-)).

At first glance this hotel looks really nice. But never judge a book by its covers, because this book is literally one of the worst. It doesn't take more than opening the first page (door to the room) to realize this place is not as sleep friendly as you would thought; The room has no air and no air condition at all (even though for example Google says there is). It has this unit to turn on air but it is not on. So you'll need to open up the window to be able to breath. The beds are a nightmare too, rock solid would work, but rock solid with strings poking your back here and there...? Not really. Since sleeping without a window open is out of the question, here comes the next problem; the next door logistics company starts working at 06.30 in the morning and it is LOUD and its not going to stop... So trying to fall asleep after that? Good luck. It is impossible to get air and a dark room at the same time and with that horrid noice you'll have a perfect cocktail of wake-you-up (see videos for examples of the noice). There is literally nothing close to the hotel, and to take the metro/train is ten minutes of walking. Since the primary task for a hotel to achieve is to give their customers a good night of sleep... I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel, and I would definitely NOT return.
